on the turn Alex used fling to finish off Bill, he had an angle to deal 32 damage to Madison and get her out of the game, if he sacrificed his one copy and the real arcbound ravager to boost the one that would connect with Madison, dealing 16 damage and then flinging the copy before it died for another 16, totalling 32 which was Madison's hp at that time

Just so you know Phasing events happen at the start of the Untap step, not the Upkeep. This is something that's often done wrong when a player Phases in from Teferi's Protection
702.26a Phasing is a static ability that modifies the rules of the untap step. During each player’s untap step, before the active player untaps permanents, all phased-in permanents with phasing that player controls “phase out.” Simultaneously, all phased-out permanents that had phased out under that player’s control “phase in.”
Around the 13:50 mark when the board got wiped by the room If Zabaz is not in play when the modular trigger resolves then it doesn't affect the number of counters.

So Alex had a line on killing Madison anyway btw. Arcbounds move their counters around when they die, so when you swung in on Madison you could have moved the counters off of the real Arcbound onto the fake one in order to do its power in damage.

Just curious because I don't know much about the rules of combat damage and all that, but could Maddy have saved galta at 20:41 by using the bronze dragons ability to put enough 1/1 counters on him to tank the damage? I'm trying to learn more about how damage timing works out
No. The trigger from bronze dragon will go on the stack when damage is dealt. At that time the Ghalta has lethal damage, so the counters would have to have been added prior to the damage.

like in this game, it was absolutely in Alex's interest to keep Bill alive; Bill might be able to help address the other boards (some sort of Cyclonic Rift style effect) and also he'd keep some of the pressure off of Alex.
additionally, had Alex saved the Fling, he could have used it to take out one of Maddy's huge creatures (at the cost of his Arcbound but if you're going to die, it's worth the sacrifice).

35:31 wouldn’t Maddy have to exile two of her permanents from the ulamog cast trigger or does it fizzle because it targets and then Fill teferi’d?
2 target permanents but they don't have to be her permanents. The targets would be chosen when ulamog is cast, and then it fizzles bc of teferis protection.
@@TheSpikeFeedersif only her list had Triumph and The Questing Beast. She could've put QB into play off ulamog cast and smashed him. I hate Teferis Prot so much all my green decks have multiple slots against it, I need help lol.

When I saw the jolly balloon man in the first episode, I was excited until I heard modular. I was hoping for a change in game 2. I think the jolly balloon man is being shafted in this series. Modular is cute but seems too "fair" for a 3-player edh game. I'd really like to see an etb/dies jolly balloon man deck.
Isn't teleportation circle not a may ability? I know Fil probably doesn't have a reason to flicker things so it maybe doesn't change anything but still

The awesome rooms like the board wipe are insane to flicker if you have liquidmetal coating/torque to make Rooms become artifacts. I've got it in my Animatou rooms already 🤩

@@TheForeverRanger I have a poison deck, mutant menace Precon, infinite token gen, +1/+1 counter burn. But every time our table based threat on board state NOT what the deck could do.
