Gotta love the 5.0L Coyote V8 brother, I have a 2011 Ford F150 with a 5.0L Coyote V8 in it with 148,000 miles on it and still going strong and its a beast and it sounds like a beast with the Borla ATAK exhaust on it.
Muffler delete sounded deep and clean, smooth. 💯
The true dual hit 126 while sounding like ass and the borla attak hit 124 while sounding amazing

I got a catback flowmaster into 2 pipes out the back. I wanted straight free duals. Not anymore. The highend rattle just doesn't sound too good to me when stepping on gas. Guess ill stick with what i got for now. Thanks for video,and putting stuff out.

Glad to hear the delete with duel exit. I have done deletes on two previous f150 but just put a pipe in the place of the muffler. Fuel exit delete is what I want to do on my new truck. Thanks for the videos. Awesome job

Has anyone had you do the Roush Catback yet?
I have one on my 2020 F-150 5.0, but the shop installed it wrong with the resonator just after the cat instead of just before the rear axle.
I was wondering what the difference in sound would be.
Also, just curious if that could damage my system. I doubt it, but I don’t know better. Lol

They all sound pretty good. My takeaways are MBRP is quiet! The last one/loudest was god damn loud! What a different some piping makes. Lastly I have to say the basic muffler delete sound great but not crazy loud

True dual straight pipe, music to my ears, amazing rumble.
Muffler delete and borka attack sounded godlike but that true duel straight pipe sounded like sombody playing bleed ( meshuggah) with to tin cans. Jesus.

I love your videos, but true duel is two exhaust pipes on each side coming from the engine that’s just a regular dual.
I'm still rocking the stock on my 13 5.0. I want to upgrade but I don't want nothing crazy loud. Next vid needs to be the quietest aftermarket exhaust haha
Ditch the factory muffler and fill in with 3” and you’ll love it
Replace the factory muffler with a MBRP installer series one leave the resonator that's what I have on mine nice clean sound with the right amount of rumble

The last one in the video had bashed out catlatc converters 💪 fuck yeah. That's the first thing I do to a car when I buy one. Cut out the cats and weld in a straight pipe it then sell the cats. Some times I just bash them out

3. Muffler Delete - Loud/Raspy
4. MBRP - Quiet/Decent Mild Tone
5. True Dual Muffler/Resonator Delete - Loudest/Worse Sound

3.5 better overall but sound. Only exhaust sound that is better is the SPD turbo package.
I disagree. The reliability and simplicity and the coolness of a V8 beats the 3.5 in my opinion. Can’t beat a good ole V8.
Towing and I'm sure beating the snot out of it you're going to get better mileage with the V8. All you need to do is some bolt ons to beat a stock 3.5. If it's not enough power you could always put a blower on it and then there's no way the V6 will compete.... not on 93 fuel anyway
Also Ford's advertised power for the EcoBoost is on 93 most people put 87. So stock for stock it's just barely quicker than the V8 but just barely better mileage driving normal.

@@55Berg sure it's your right to. If you do some video searching I'm towing comparing the two you will see. American trucks I think did dynos on both and then went to the drag strip. Just tune and exhaust put both trucks very close to each other. That's very impressive considering there's a lot more power to be had with a tune with turbos. Of course that's not full bolt-ons for the 5.0. The V8 has a ton of bolt-ons heads cams intake manifold. Can't say the same thing for the 3.5. So do yourself a favor watch a few videos of people pulling 8,000 lb trailers with both trucks you will see the V8 uses less fuel. V6 was brought out two peas to EPA gods, they can raise their corporate MPG stats because when driven without a load you will get better mileage. Once you put the truck to work a boosted engine will use more fuel under load. Fast lane trucks has some vids.
And yes it is true look it up forward advertises their power numbers on premium gas. So if you are putting 87 in your tank you're not getting full power. And a recommend 93 for Towing. It's actually in the manual.
If you still think I'm wrong about everything that's okay some people just don't like to admit even after the facts.
I’ll be honest I think these all sound horrible. My F150 has hi flow cats from magnaflow and was straight piped, resonator delete with duals out the side behind the tires. Had some rasp and good bottom end and no pop. My current setup is now same cats, no resonator,widowmaker 10, duals out the back and still has just enough rasp, with bottom end and no pop. Gets really throaty when you get on it. A little quieter in the cab running the outlets out the back.

I think it's easier to rank the horrible ones first!..... The straight-pipe sounded like absolute trash, the Flowmaster Outlaw surprised my how bad that sounded. I think for the WIN it's between the MBRP and the simple Muffler Delete actually.
