@@craigjacobson158 I just checked your video and it sounds awesome 👌. I have a 2006 Silverado 5.3 with also a dual exhaust with the borla pro xs. I’m very happy how it sounds.
SOUNDS AWESOME, i would leave it as is. I did a similar thing on my honda civic. Paid over 400 for a loud ass muffler that sounded almost exactly as deleted muffler SO i returned it and just did a fancy tip like you and sounded great. maybe not ideal at cold startup 6 am before work if you like your beighbors but whatever,
I used to run true duals on all my rigs but rumble and tone are more important to me having a family now. Time for a nice free flowing muffler setup, no muffler deletes or true duals.
Weld a raptor trombone section onto the passenger exhaust side to make it equal length, h pipe, true dual, closest exhaust to a mustang sounding exhaust
Hey quick question. You know that “hook” that you had to bend up and out of the way in order to slide the muffler back out of the slip joint , are we sure that wasn’t a “twist” lock type of deal? Ok maybe you didn’t have the room to rotate that whole assembly at first but seeing as you ended up having to take the weight off the rear suspension to make room to remove the tailpipe/muffler assembly whole, then I suspect their might have been enough room to rotate it up and slide it back free. See if you think about what that short far pin thing was doing it makes sense and pretty trick if you ask me. It do double duty by locating the slip joint depth of overlap and keeps the the muffler and tailpipe from twisting over time or from some drunk guy doing an exhaustion tip test. “Where they stand on the tailpipe with one foot while holding onto the bedside to see if it passes” if it does pass some will even bounce up and down a couple of times for extra points. 😂 many times this exercise is conducted without the owners knowledge or consent! 😂 Yes I’ll take “reasons to leave the bar before last call for $500 please” What is the tailpipe test? Correct!
It's not going to be super loud at idle unless the resonator and catalytic convertors are removed.Stock Cats and resonators are a restriction in the exhaust which will reduce flow and sound as much as a muffler if not more.
@@tylerhubbell6410 yea I know all that my first truck when was a 98 chevy Z-71 I had no mufflers and no cats just one pipe out of one manifold straight back and another pipe, coming out the other manifold straight back no Y pipes. I just thought the F-150 would be a little louder was all. Hey answer me this I blew up my 5.7 L hemi motor in my Dodge truck. I had a new motor put in it that was used but had about 60,000 miles less and my cold start. My pipes are not as loud and my pipes are just not as loud over all either. what the hell would cause that. It’s the same motor just one with 60,000 miles less and my exhaust is the exactly the same way it was before. So why is my truck not as loud as it used to be? Truly can’t figure this one out it makes no sense. I am getting ready to cut the cats off to make it louder. My exhaust was perfectly loud. Not too loud but loud enough for people to say damn what you got under the hood of that truck. I put the other motor in it and now it’s just not loud enough and I do not like it. Any thoughts our suggestions?
Dude, i’m not sure how often you are on tiktok but you should get there and get one of those small welding machines. I am sure you’d get a lot of use out of it. Be cool to see you start doing your own exhaust work. Maybe even some custom fab stuff later on 👀
I will say for that v8 if you do long tubes, equal length x pipe trans am style like what Craig909 did with his f100 it would sound amazing. Also the reason it’s quiet is probably fords cats, never flow well and never will sadly.
I know you are going to put the Whipple charger on the F-150. Are you going to lift it and put some 35in or 37in tires on it? Or will you end up lowering it and have some kind of radical slicks? Maybe a wait a see thing though 😂lol
Dude, skip the plastic or hairy cardboard fender liners that will just trap mud and moisture behind them causing rust and just roll on some bed liner material in your rear fender wells.
Liked those loud exhaust when I was younger. Now it’s about the right tone. Flow masters are one of the best. Corsa has some excellent choices.
I’d say borla sounds better but that’s just my opinion. How do u like borla?
I have flowmaster outlaw cat back on my 2017 Silverado. Love the sound, and didn't break the bank! Like Borla but it is pricey.
If you like flowmasters check out summit racing's chambered mufflers. They are almost identical and 1/2 the price.
@@seriouspilot3546 Borla ATAK is the best and most aggressive sound. I have a video on my channel if you want to hear the sound on my 2022 F150

True dualsssss should be the next setup
Don't forget the x pipe
Just put headers on it with straight side pipes.
Sorry 5.0 don’t sound good with true duals
True duals with magnapacks, have them on mine..it's slaps big time
Duals, X pipe and longtubes if you can afford them. If not shorties make a helluve "sound" difference
Could really use drop shackles or maybe some 37s those wheel wells are enormous!

💀
I just got a 23 but I think the new 2024 grill looks great!!
Man it sounds pretty dang good! Nothing will ever sound as good as a 5.3!
It's a dang coyote 5.0 buddy, no 5.3 here
It’s a 5.0..
Lmao it’s a 5.0 coyote not a junk slow 5.3
How a Chebby boy flushes himself out
not better then a 4.6 2v
Chomper is the show stopper. The Fords well they can just try their best to keep up.
Borla atak with resonator delete sounds amazing and maybe cat delete that’s what I’m running on my 5.0 and it sounds so good you won’t be disappointed
I love the single cabs and Chomper
Weld a raptor trombone section onto the passenger exhaust side to make it equal length, h pipe, true dual, closest exhaust to a mustang sounding exhaust

The diesel looking tip is awesome

That really is a lot quieter than I thought it would be. Maybe because it actually doesn’t have duals yet?

@@TaylorFirearms-4x4 every motor is different even if theyre the same exact model. id just cut the cats and get long tubes and put an x pipe.
Gotta get equal length mid piping and do true dual with x pipe
I got my f150 single cab from ford dealership in Hoover tooo
Putting the rpm in the video, very nice
Sounds good but not nearly loud enough for me
My thoughts exactly

Diffrent channel from everyone else 🤝
Corsa corsa corsaaaaa plzzz🙏🏽😭 I think it’d be nasty man the corsa extreme sounds good on these 5.0s great truck tho! Love those newbodys
Delete that little reso and made a side exit. Oval shape with flat top & bottom and a vertical split so it looks like a nascar boom tube
I wanna to make my F-150s exhaust behind the tires on both sides and deleted. Did you think this was too loud while driving?
It sounds good man
You should do the paid subscription thing if you haven’t where you drop exclusive vids , or get early access to vids
I have a 24 stx supercrew. The trucks nice with the 5.0, put that lil sucker in sport mode and you’ll find out how much you’ll piss yourself lmao
It sounds like the Ford mustang dark horse 🤌🤌
What brand tires are you running??
You should cam the f150 and put an H pipe with true duals and 8 inch tips
24s and Trudell and the rear wheel well lines and Whipple supercharged
please don’t sell all the diesels
Resonator delete and all the way out back sounds best. Turndowns just blow dust all over your stuff.
We need to see a prerunner build man!
Now it's time to put a Whipple supercharger on
Whipple still isn’t available for the 24 F150s unfortunately
@@lmfscrewturbos then?🤟

Is this tuned with sct?
Take the resonator off
no

Keep up the good work 👍.
Not gonna lie, the look on Chomper is growing on me. 9:32
Any CEL
Duals with corsa/borla👍🏼
Good choice of song
Run true duals or y pipe duals
That actually sounds nice

Will def be going low for performance after the whipple! Might try a bigger level but not a full lift kit
2m fabrication has a catless y pipe
you gotta take it to that trail you did with every other truck
True dual side pipes?
The pants were so funny🤣
7:52 kinda looks like a toy car😂
I like it…as long as it’s not too droney on the inside:
Blip the throttle when you down shift it.
time for a whipple
Bumpers white next
Sounds good
Love chompers soubd😮
keep it lifted please
No back pressure will blow the valves
i like them wheels

1:08 “That’s so dumb” freaking pounds muffler then cuts to next clip 💀💀💀
Nice
Put welds on it
I love juice wrld to
Your supose to turn the exhaust and pull it off. Not bend the tab.
next is a whipple
Needs a Corsa extreme on it 🤦🏻♂️
Needs true duals with h-pipe or x-pipe then maybe it will sound like a Mustang LOL
Just got one of these in my work truck I am not impressed with the 5.0 it’s slow
Bro what are you driving on a daily my dads cohost that he just sold was stupidly fast
Slow as in sluggish? Slow take off? I test drove one and it felt pretty good.
@@Adjust-Fire-jy3dy it goes no where until I get up to 40

Slam it and throw some welds on it
All the MIATA owners will see it .
Resonator gtg
I would’ve taken the resonator off
Na the f150 sounds better than chommper tbh😂
It sounds hokey
Lower it and cam it, it would look and sound better
loud truck
5.3 and 6.2 sound way better
🥱
gotta take the air dam off
Unpopular fact as much as I love the coyote platform they sound like complete $hit!!!!
