A foreign language looks always complicated in the beginning. I paid for my English course so I've gotten the grasp of many things. For French and Romanian it hasn't worked, I've not been a self taught student, paying things flow easier, I've never paid for it, I've only had the internet to do the trick, music, movies and the like. That's why I've decided to pay for this course, to go forward and pick up the pace.

Some parts are simple, such as miracle of NO verb conjugations by no. and person!!!
However, there are tones + intonation and characters for diffi
      culty.
1 method to learn a language or
dialect is to find reference grammars, both on line and in paper, of one s 1st language and
the 2nd and make comparisons in
      4 sorts if relations between 1st s
forms, like word phrase and clause orders and contents, like words meanings--- where the 2 are
      A) same
      B) similar
      C) opposite
      D) different, even at times 1 has words, but the other never speaks
of certain taboo topics (some video teachers now explain these
      most difficult (sometimes non---)
relations examples---Chinese people like reserve, so never tell
a person to whom they are attracted that they find them,
they just continue (at least at 1st)
as less passionate friends, or Chinese definition of freedom changed during 20th c. 1900 to 2000? foreigners used ziyou
(self direction), which Chinese on Mainland, Taiwan, SE Asia saw as
as anti social, everyone for selves,
      while zizhu (self governance or
      management) was closer to W
freedom idea. But, in last 2 ?
      decades, Chinese everywhere now
use early W translation, ziyou, to
      mean positive freedom = zizhu.
      Who could predict this?!
      Hope that these help.
Zhu ni, hao yunqi!!! Jia, you!!!

Thanks so much for this channel and all their hard work 🙏

    • @awesomebearaudiobooks
      @awesomebearaudiobooks 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

I am not excited. I was planning to reach HSK4 this year, and yet it's now only equivalent to HSK2. I don't understand why they made HSK 2, 3 and 4 so much harder, and yet didn't make HSK6 any harder.
HSK6 stayed almost the same, plus they added HSK7 and a few others on top of it... Why not just add HSK7, HSK8, etc... Why did they also have to make HSK2, HSK3 and HSK4 so much harder? I'm now feeling like all of my progress didn't mean much.
Of course, I know that the HSK level doesn't really matter in real life and what is important is being able to speak and understand Chinese, but still, it doesn't make sense to me why they decided to discourage HSK3 and HSK4 learners so much and put them on HSK2, and yet they didn't change anything for HSK6 learners.

Maybe just because of intonation, you felt that it was pronounced differently.

病人 bìng rén is 4th tone + 2nd tone
