  • The United States needs to learn how to compete with China and it won't be easy but it is doable. This video goes over the basic and it is not brain surgery people. Watch learn and then tell you government what you have learned from a person that has lived in the United States, Canada and China for over 20 years. It's amazing they haven't figured this out yet so I thought I would throw them a bone.

    You missed the grandparents. They drop everything to be there, and will babysit. This spans the gap in generations, avoids cultural drift, and gives a bit of stability to society. In return, they're taken care of by the kids when the time comes. We rarely ship the grandparents to nursing homes to be forgotten.

    Great, Gweilo! This all comes down to, that the CCP still holds to the ethics of Confucius, which is by the way very similar to the ethics of Paul in the Bible. So without knowing it, China actually lives out the Christian values much better than the US. I find this fascinating!

    • @PhiloSurfer
      @PhiloSurfer หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      You got it correct the first time you mention it - China sticks to the Confucius values. So, without knowing it, or perhaps knowing it and adopting it, the Bible adopts the Confucius values, but the US soon rejected these values. (P/S - Confucius was spreading his teachings and values when the papyrus (whence Bible was first written) has not even been planted.)

    • @eugenec7130
      @eugenec7130 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      The United States rejects China thoroughly just because China is practicing communism. Just mention communism or communists and Joe Biden and the whole Congress, together with the people of America, will exhale fires. I am puzzled by the stupidity of the Americans, who are blinded by what they hear and can't see facts and truth.

    • @sbrgm
      @sbrgm หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@PhiloSurfer Yes, but back then there was no exchange between these two worlds. So my (as a Bible believing person) answer to how this can be so similar is, that Confucius was in his writings also led by the Spirit of God. And in the same manner: the Bible itself says, that sticking to those values elevates a people - so in my point of view, that is the reason, why China is blessed that much currently. And as long as they keep following this ethic, they will continue to being promoted. Only as soon as they stop doing that, if evil is spreading like wildfire, they will go bankrupt. As it is happening right now to the West. I’m a German, who loves China… but looking at Germany confirms all of that: as long as we followed those principles (as after the Second World War), we were flourishing, but look at us now - pure chaos

    There is ONE frightening word in the American dictionary that scares the heck out of them whenever you are proposing solutions to their problems and that is, "DISCIPLINE". During the 1920s - 1950s, the U.S. had discipline in the family, in schools, in society and then, it all began to unravel to become a habit to "do whatever we like and say whatever we like because it's 'freedom'". Until they can have some great measure of cohesiveness, unity and discipline, it will be very difficult for the country to pull ahead as a nation.

    Meritocracy I think....when the west were developing in the 17th-19th century most of them were not Democracy. The West only enjoy "Democracy" after they developed after 200-300 years of industrial revolution. During the era of industrial revolution there's no such things as labour's right, women's right. Child labour were rampant and encouraged. Exploitation were the norm. I think the idea of Democracy is great but the problem is humanity is not ready for it unfortunately. We are easily swayed by promises, shortsighted goodies like tax-cut....etc etc....

    I was talking with a mum in the local park (UK) this morning who was with her son (teen) and his friend fishing in the small lake (Moat). I mentioned Canada and China, but she didn't like the sound of China. Surprise surprise. I quickly learnt that all her information about China was from the Media and Govt. I re-educated her, and she was pleased I did. There are two signs up by the lake put there by the Council, "No Fishing". That Council are off their heads. Last year they were charging children a fee to fish. (Licence) Now they have torn down the wooden staging posts to stop them. Someone has painted over the "No" and replaced the "N" with a "G", so it is now "Go". This is the madness of the UK.

    Good advice, but I think there is too much momentum to do the things you say unless there is a traumatic change caused by a decline in lifestyle that awakens the public to their misleading leadership. If you look at Chinese history, the 'century of humiliation' was the bottom of the Chinese civilization. Colonial forces ravaged China, there was endemic poverty, and a ruling class that cared little about the life of the average Chinese. Those that could, left China to find a build a better life. Those that couldn't saw a glimmer of light in following Mao. The rest is history and for China, the communist party was the common thread that made China what it is today. Western media and politicians say otherwise, yet their guidance is leading the US into ruin. Once a shining light of hope in the post war era, it has come to this with American society falling apart.

    There are no politicians in China, they are called statesman, if I’m not wrong. There is no such thing as politician or lobbyist in China compared to the US. Politician and lobbyist are created and written in the constitution of America, but in China, they don’t even exist. It’s two different political systems in the world. We can not compare them at the same level. So by telling Americans to compete to and learn from China is so hard cuz Americans way of thinking and way of living or ideology is so different from China. They just simply won’t accept or agree. The only way that Americans can accept is to force others to follow the American way by using power of weapons. This is what I can see nowadays.

    • @Marsbati
      @Marsbati หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      But a win/win doctrine in the eye of Americans is that the other country wins twice, America loses at the end. This is why Americans never believe in win win situation, cuz Americans only believe in Zero Sum doctrine, just like the Christianity believes that only One God existed in the world, there are no other gods. So what I understand is Americans will not cooperate or learn from others, cuz their government thinks they are the best and the only lighthouse for the human kind, or on the other way, they are the only human being in the world, others are not. It’s like an old saying in Chinese, either you die or I live. It’s hard to communicate with Americans government. Americans government foreign policy is basically to dominate the whole world and become the only empire in the world and let other countries worship them. Simple as that. Prove me if I’m wrong. 😂😂
