CHINA is watching the WEST DECLINE!

  • What is the matter with the Western world especially the United States. While China is in a period of constant growth and prosperity the West seems to be declining. Could despair be the reason for all the violence, drug abuse, political rhetoric and civil unrest? I have a very boomer outlook on this subject so rant I will, but I will rant from the streets of one of the safest places on earth...Nanning, China.

This past week in the state of Texas of the US, 3 mass shootings occurred and over 22 people got killed. 1 shooting by a neighbor killed 5 family members, and 2 separate shootings happened in the shopping centers killing 17 people, including a Korean family with two young parents and 1 3-year-old baby. The US is running toward FASCISM day by day quickly, very scary now - drug abusers in the streets, homeless tents in big cities, random mass shootings every day, racist violence, hate speech on university campuses, politicians' hateful rhetoric - entirely a dystopia now.

The US has always been a fascistic state. White supremacism reframed as American exceptionalism. Their manifest destiny and Monroe Doctrine, which seems to just expand to Asia now apparently. Gun culture hiding behind Christianity and yet somehow people yap about the dangers of the MIC, as if the NRA isn't a part of that. Segregationist, Neo Nazis, the KKK. These aren't just some anomaly of Anglo and European ideology.

The west ( especially the US) can only decline further. Take a lesson from history. The mighty Roman empire declined due to similar conditions the west are facing today.
    1.Over expansion and military overspending.
    2. Economic troubles
    3. Govt corruption and political instability.
    4. Mass migration of barbarian tribes due to invasion of Europe by the Huns. Similar mass migration is occurring today due to wars in middle east and Africa. Desperate conditions in Central America due to gangs, political instability, climate change and lack of economic opportunities.
    5. Loss of traditional values. The spread of Christianity changes the values of Roman society. Today wokeism and other isms are changing the Christian values of America.
    5. Civil wars. The west is not there yet. But signs are growing.
Isn't history such a wonderful thing? History is telling us where the west is going

What you list here can be applied to China right now or in the near future. Their economy is going to take a hit due to the lockdowns, financial mismanagement, economic problems, among others. Lots of industries moving out right now. Also, think of immigration problems; which countries have the problem of foreigners wanting to immigrate to them vs. who wants to immigrate to China? The west has its problems but they can be solved, its just the usual lack of political will until it turns into a crisis.

    • @rap3208
      @rap3208 ปีที่แล้ว

@@CrossForum lol! Nope, you can't apply those 5 points to China.
      1. China is not on any other country except in Djibouti where they are helping in the piracy problem.
      2. China is the biggest trading nation and the biggest trading partner of almost everybody else. Their new silk road (BRI) have about 192 who signed up producing more than 2,000 projects all over the world.
      3. China probably has the most stable government in the world with 96% approval of the population.
      4. No mass migration to China.
      5. The only civil war China is in is with Taiwan in which they agreed that it be a cold war instead of a hot war, have been a cold war since 1949. of course, the US is trying its hardest to make that into a hot war, they'll fail.
So you fail, you didn't get one right. Read alternative and independent media, confining yourself to western corporate media is making you grossly ill-informed to the point of stupid.

Woke isn't the issue of the changes in Christianity. The gun culture is far more of the problem. Being accepting and understanding of others faults and surrounding is being a good Christian. Trying to sell yourself as Christian by way of gun culture with pastors buying themselves jets and mansions, that's not Christian. And the latter has been around for decades and has increasingly been escalating into basically a sham.

    • @questworldmatrix

@@CrossForumIt's funny how US and NATO destroyed country after country, and you people consider it some badge of honor to gloat when the refugees pour into your borders as a popularity contest. China has 1.4 billion people. I don't see refugees going to India either despite being part of the west. Why? Because they too have 1.4 billion already. You don't see refugees from Mexico or Syria going to Japan or South Korea either. Why? Because they're fucking poor now thanks to you. And don't even ask why they don't go to Iran, when you've had it on target bucket list. You shit on everyone and China's going to have to fix all your ruin and debt traps while you keep trying to swipe at their legs. If China's going broke, it's because they're rebuilding a lot. You're broke because all you know is war.

You bet it was different before...
I first went to China in '86. There was this company who accepted an invitation to visit their Chinese 'sister company', and the boss thought it was a good idea to reward his employees with an expanded China trip to several cities, and allowed each employee to bring along their family members. I happened to be a classmate to the kid of one employee & they brought me along.
Everything looked the same back then. From the way the cities looked, how people dressed, even down to the amenities in the hotels we stayed in (looked like they all came from one factory). I remembered when in Xian, and when we wanted to go have a walk at night, the host company sent gun-toting bodyguards to accompany us. So it's evident for me that China has came a long way from that impoverished "every man for himself" state to the safe country it is today.

Rampant drug addictions, gun violence (USA) and homelessness, something that one would probably never live to see in China.
“Chickens have certainly come home to roost” for the west, more particularly for the UK, a British Empire no more!
China fought two wars with the British in the late 1800s over the forced importation of Opium into China and sadly lost, because of a weak, inept and corrupt government during the dying days of the Qing Dynasty.
And how could countries like the UK (& its monarchy) and most of the West be so rich, if not for the blunders of resources from their previous colonies, in Asia/Pacific and Africa.

Well, not our loss. You see, this is the difference between China and USA, we don't want other people to learn from us, not to mention to force them to learn from us which is exactly the type of things that the US loves to do. Why would anybody on earth want other people to be as successful as themselves? That's communism! USA hates communism, right? Then you see how the US destroyed Soviet Union, denied Japan from overtaking the US economically, and now trying to stop China from further developing itself. Japan, an US ally. Well, US colony to be exact. But still, Japan has one person one vote, that's the very definition of democracy. This proves that the US doesn't want anyone to be as successful at all. The pretence is just an excuse to open your market, neuter your government and legal system, then you are ready for the US capital to pillage. China doesn't do that. We do business, if you don't want to, you don't have to. When you change your mind, just give us a call. Simple as that.

In the view of Karl Marx, drug abuse is a symptom of the capitalist system. According to Marx, capitalism creates a society where individuals are alienated from each other, from their work, and from themselves. The capitalist system is characterized by the exploitation of the working class, where the owners of the means of production (the bourgeoisie) extract surplus value from the labor of the workers (the proletariat).
This exploitation creates a situation where workers are alienated from their own labor, as they are forced to work for wages that do not reflect the full value of their labor. This alienation leads to feelings of powerlessness and frustration, which can lead individuals to turn to drugs as a form of escape.
Furthermore, the capitalist system creates a culture of consumerism, where individuals are encouraged to consume goods and services as a way to define their identity and find meaning in their lives. This emphasis on consumption can lead individuals to turn to drugs as a way to cope with the stresses and pressures of consumer culture.
In addition, the capitalist system creates economic inequality, where some individuals have access to more resources and opportunities than others. This inequality can lead to feelings of hopelessness and despair, which can contribute to drug abuse.
Overall, Marx would argue that drug abuse is a symptom of the social and economic alienation created by the capitalist system. To address drug abuse, Marx would advocate for a radical restructuring of society, one that would prioritize the needs and well-being of all individuals, rather than just the interests of the capitalist class.

Think about it, when you're living in China:
Your little one won't have to deal with drugs and can grow up in tip-top shape.
You don't have to worry about any drag queens putting strange ideas in your kiddo's head. The society is tolerant, but it won't stand for any strange ideas.
When you take your family to the mall, there won't be any gun violence.
You can leave all sorts of things in your car, even cash, and no one will break into it.
No more subway rides with rats running around,no more funny smell.
The subway stations are gorgeous, just like your house.
You can head out anytime you want, day or night, without anyone following you or robbing you. In Chinese culture, going out at night is a standard thing, so you can go shopping or grab some grub whenever you fancy

US government began as a republic, not a democracy. The US Constitution guaranteed a Republican form of government , not a democracy. The U.S. republic is characterized by its flexibility to change with the times and easy access to the power lever of government - this characteristic also made the US government vulnerable to the treacherous money-power hungry politicians. The Men who desire limitless power and boundless riches surreptitiously sabotaged the republic and replaced it with a corruptible democracy where a few greedy, treacherous, and wicked creatures coronated themselves as the Men of Power of the USA. The Men of Power corralled the people’s labor, money, and property for unholy purposes- waging unlimited wars, inciting international rebellion, and indulging domestic decadence while neglecting the needs of the America and its people. America’s narcotic depravity, crime propensity, and ostentatious immorality are the direct result of a democracy where the Men of Power reign supreme.

Hey Kirk, I usually agree with your takes, and I'm very sympathetic to China, but this is one instance in where I believe you should re-think some things. So consider this a bit of constructive criticism: you say who cares why people are on drugs or do these mass shootings? Well in a sense I think that's more North American and anti-Chinese thinking, let me explain. See The West is in their current predicament precisely because they didn't care about the 'why'. To be specific, liberal Western capitalist societies are notoriously bad at systemic and long-term thinking and planning. The West (here particularly the US) didn't consider the systemic and long-term effects of allowing any nut to just buy a gun. The West didn't consider the long-term effects of when you have extreme poverty like is developing in The West well of course more people will turn to drugs. The West didn't consider how people will try to just numb the pain if they don't have access to the basics like housing or clean drinking water. China is where it is today because they've very intelligently considered their national conditions and planned according and so it is precisely because they cared about the 'why' that they became so successful.
Maoism descends from Leninism which descends from Marxism which descends from Hegelianism. China's political system today is uniquely Chinese but within the greater tradition of systemic progress but while also conserving what's worth it about the past. The West's biggest problem is that they became more and more a-systemic, they thought they could get away with not doing the work it takes to think through this, but China and other ML countries stuck to the hard work and that's why in the long-term they may be better off. Anyhow man, I hope this explanation gave you something to consider. I appreciate your channel and you showing the wonderful local cultures of one China. Keep it up.

      @RareSeldas ปีที่แล้ว

Additionally, if you, or anyone else, wants some good recommendations for what I am saying: I recommend Marx's Das Kapital for a good Hegelian explanation of economics, for ethics I recommend The Spirit of China: Ethical Substance and The Philosophy of Right (interestingly enough Hegel and Confucius had very similar ethical systems), then for politics I recommend Vincent Garton Jiang Shigong’s Chinese World Order (it goes in-depth on how Chinese themselves view The Political internally and externally), reading Xi Jinping Thought is good for what the central government is currently planning, and then of course for a good and serious sense of actual philosophy I recommend Hegel's Science of Logic Cambridge Edition--Antonio Wolf has a lot of good basic introductory content for Hegel--just like China, Hegel is also deeply misunderstood, like Hegel isn't anti-materialist or whatever nonsense people say. Anyhow, hope you all are doing well. No US New Cold-War!

Regarding your claims about the "West". I think it would be better to be a bit more specific instead of talking about collective West. Also, USA does not equal West. There is also EU which is a very different continent with a bunch of distinct and diverse nations. What is applicable to USA may not be applicable to Denmark. There is no violence in Portugal or Poland. Traffic deaths are only a tiny fraction in Sweden compared to US (or China, for that matter). I think it's a good practice to be specific because otherwise it sounds like it's intentionally misleading.
