    Thanks for showing that setup. That was key to me buying Solo. Using trolling motor to run the grass will have good results! Catch um!!!

    Was looking at your minn kota, then I saw the gtr. And was all I was looking at. Replayed the video, and then paid attention to the setup lol. Nice ride

    I am about to mount my trolling motor like yours so, can you tell me why the two pieces of starboard and would you change anything mount wise.Nice clean job on the starboard especially the 45 degree cuts on the edge that give it a factory clean look.

      Nothing I would really change, I have ran the solo with the ipilot in the water on accident, didn't leak or move even ran into a few things coasting. I have 2 pieces of starboard because I thought it was thicker when I bought it.

    Love you troll motor mods- can you tell me how you mounted it to the skiff? Thanks

    Great set up man. Might be a weird question but i am getting a solo skiff and plan on doing the same mod. Does the skiff seem overloaded with a outboard and bow mount trolling motor? I am 6'6 and 220lbs and im worried the solo skiff wont be able to handle the big lake that i fish

    I've watched this video several times already lol. Im so ready to make that purchase of that Powerdrive soon but I'm gonna need to hire your or whoever cut the shaft of your MK to do mine for my SS. I'm too scared to mess with the wires haha.

    Love the setup! Who makes the bow mounted bracket to put the quick release base on?

    • @OffdayTherapy
      @OffdayTherapy  4 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Had to make it out of hpde board and the quick release mount that minn kota sales. You can also use cutting board. Just make sure its thick enough.

    Hey man, nice set up. Do you have a video of you installed the Minn kota unit? What do you use for base of it.

    Love it! Getting a new solo skiffe. want to put that mankota riptide on the front of the boat. Mainly for the stop lock feature. No anchor needed.is there any videos that show you how to do that process start to finish would love to have the same setup you have, would like to know what materials I need to get to do that build??? Sweet set up though great job.

      I didn't record the install. It's really about just securing the puck to the solo. You can use hpde board, cutting board, etc. Some people mount it direct.

    Love the setup of your solo skiff, do you run into any tangling issue while in spot lock with the rope being attached to the shaft ?
