Solo Skiff is back in production for 2024, new Ice Blue color only, and they look terrific. Solo Skiffs are rotationally molded, made with triple layer thick (solid - foam core - solid) high density polyethylene making them completely buoyant, rigid, and nearly indestructible. The 41” wide, 14' 5” stable platform makes standing easy. For propulsion - mount anything from an electric motor to a 6 HP outboard (which pushes it 15+ MPH - we know 'cause that's what we have). It paddles or poles through 4” of water, too.

Good information video on the new model. I love my 2020 Solo Skiff, I rigged it up with all the items and location that I like after over 7 years on different Kayaks fishing saltwater. Now after over 3 yrs with my Solo Skiff I even go over 25+ miles off shore in the San Diego, Ca. area and mostly surf launch from La Jolla Shores in search of California Yellowtail and the last couple off years for Tuna and Dorados. It's is a blast to ride and covers so much water that on a kayak, you can only dream about. Get one, you'll love it. There's No boat or skiff that can do all that and get 25 mpg of regular. I used to own boats in decades past and certainly can't afford $100-$300 in gas to search for Tuna, as compared to $15-$18. Never have to worry about fighting the current or wind, always get back easy, even with a 46 lb California Yellowtail on my Fish Kill bag on the bow. Tight Lines!

I purchase one last year (green hull) what is the best way to set the boat trailer for that hull design? Currently I have runners running the length of the hull, (boat seems to move to much on the trailer) thinking about making then perpendicular to the hull with some up rights...

Running the bunks flat is best imo since it's a flat hull design. Running a stopping pole on the sides can help to prevent any side to side movement.

I was told that the Yamaha 4-6hp rubs the hull. Did they ever fix that problem?
