I'm always smiling big when I see Charles is in the video! And he's totally right about Cash smashing everything...who isn't waiting for him to break something with his stress testing? 😆
I’m glad Charles pointed out to Cash that slamming appliance doors, or any doors/drawers for that matter, is not OK. I wish Cash would listen to Charles. But something tells me that Cash will continue to slam his way through these apartments because he thinks it’s funny or quirky or attention-getting.
Charles and Cash work well together and play off each other's personalities. I love how Charles kept commenting about Cash being rough on everything.... that had me ROFL.
I’m glad to see that Charles did mention that to cash, about being less rough with his appliances. As a landlord, I know that seeing that upset me. I like to think that everybody has respect for property.
A real mixed bag again guys. The one with the windowless rooms I would not live in even if you paid me! Over $7k for a 2 bed is pretty steep even if they are nice. Cash being told off by Charles for slamming doors is a hoot. Love you guys. See you soon.
Maybe the landlord imagined that the toilet would be very crowded - if you are not shy, a lot of activities could take place out there at the same time
Charles must have seen all the comments about how tough Cash is on all the doors he opens! Charles has a light touch, he doesn’t break everything! We love you, Charles❤️
Having a washer and dryer in the unit is WAY better than a laundry room. For example: 1) I do not have to leave my apartment to do my laundry. 2) I can be lazy 3) I do no have to worry that my laundry will get stolen. 4) I do not have to worry about people messing with my laundry.
but you don't get to meet your neighbors and gossip about who's doing who...who's ordering from amazon a lot...who's the creepy guy is ....and who keeps stealing your underwear....etc....
I have no interest in ever moving to New York from my 11 acre homestead in TX but I watch Cash’s videos almost everyday. It amazes me how much these apartments rent for. I know, I know, location.
I wouldn’t say no to living in any of the apartments shown today apart from the third one. That older one being gas retrofitted is definitely not for me. Great video Cash & Charles. Love your collaboration’s. ❤️🖖
How is it possible that Charles only has 8000 subscribers? Yes it's a different vibe than when he's with Cash but it's still all his usually awesome apartments. I saw his short on the studio & 2 bedroom apartments last week. I think out of all of them I like these the best. The only drawback with the 1 that had in-unit laundry in the bedroom would be that I wouldn't want roommates going in there whenever to do laundry
IMHO, we see a natural character and vibe of Charles' when he is with Cash but of his own videos (that I have seen) it's just a rough panning of spaces and very little chatter. BUT... I'm still a Charles' subscriber!
I'm in Love with the $6 400 duplex loft with rooms. Interesting how the law determines how this particular living space is listed & marketed; simply due to the absence of windows. Yet at the same time, landlords are allowed to rent living spaces that are unsuitable for occupancy due to the lack of space caused by landlords chopping up apartments into units as small as jail cells. And charging ridiculous amounts of rent for the privilege of living in NYC. Lovely apartment tours. The dynamic duo are at it once again.
Wow, that was a jam-packed video, and a fun one too! Love the vibe you and Charles have. He always has some great and very interesting apartments, but most of them are just too expensive! NYC is a great place to visit but I know I couldn't live there. I'm too old!
Charles saying mushrooms instead of marshmallows made me laugh harder then it should have😂😂😂 then you showing Cash how not to slam the microwave door😂😂😂💀💀
The apartment starting 11:04 is classic prewar NYC. The features are timeless, especially the beautiful fireplace. (I just hope that "being renovated for gas pipes' doesn't mean the they're swapping the gas stove out for an electric one. That would definitely be a move in the wrong direction.)
I think the comments about Cash slamming stuff are way overblown. I've never seen him break anything. He's what 5'7" and 155 pounds. If an oven door breaks from a person of that size opening and closing it like he does just one time then there is something wrong with that oven door. That oven door is not gonna last with 4 male roommates using it everyday. Plus most appliances are made of steel and other hardened metals. They shouldn't be breaking that easily. Also I have viewed plenty of apartments where they "looked" good and I didn't "touch" anything at all and later found that the handyman just kinda used super glue for the repairs. I'm talking about doorknobs falling off when you touched them, the handle on the toilet jiggling strangely so that once it's flushed the toilet runs all night. So a stress test on a unit is best. The place I live is exactly like this. The apartment looked nice but we did no stress test before moving in and almost immediately found so many things were "broken" or only fixed with temporary repairs and broke a week after we moved in. Often we were told, oh the building's old so it's just like that. One thing would be ok but when it's multiple things it starts to become an inconvenience and a stressor. And the landlord will fix it and it will break 3 months later. A lot of y'all need to stop. Like if it annoys you that much then stop watching the videos. Other than that, accept it for what it is.
These are some very interesting apartments. Mostly they are spacious and bright, which is quite desirable. But, I did see at least one bathroom that is a bit of an enigma. And laundry in a bedroom closet! That's wild! Well, it's better than not having laundry at all...I guess. Thank you for another beautiful video featuring the incomparable Charles Monroe himself.
Cash! Can you add in information how roommates work? Do you have to advertise for them? Does the landlord have roommates available from a list? Can you choose guy/gal? Do you have to have roommates if you don't want any? How does this whole roommate thing work? Thank you and Charles for being so fun! The 2 Cs are an awesome duo!!
Last unit was about the best one and the only one that I would even consider. And although I do love in unit washer dryer, I think that a really good laundry room in the building would be just as good if not better. Less things to worry about overflowing... Not to mention the industrial washers usually do a better job.
Hi Cash and to your friend Charles. That is a nice apartment. I like how NYC apartments have nice hardwood floors and nice kitchen and a clean updated bathroom. 👍stay well and safe
Right on Charles!! Don't judge a book by it's covers!! I love the narrow suite for $6,400 for 4 people and that back patio is fabulous!! Our on the deck, a grill, plants!! Yes!! Talk about fun and a great location too on the UES in Manhattan. You know for 4 people that is good! Rents are insane but that is reasonable for rent split 3 ways. I love the layout! Very cool!!
I love how at 6:32 he mentions the fence and the other building, but doesn’t mention (or remember) that he posted a video on the apartment on the other side of the fence two weeks ago.
The second one with the 12x21 foot living space and garden was the best. Easy enough to create a private bedroom by putting in a partition with glass frosted half way up, 9x12 foot with a loft bed would leave a 12x12 foot living room.
Looking at these tiny boxes make me cringe. I am from Oklahoma we live in a mansion, mortgage $1800 per month. Our kitchen is bigger than the whole apartment :D I love watching this channel.
$6400 a month for that, mental. That. £5000 in U.K. even in central London that would get you a 3 bed house with a garden or a seriously great 2/3 bed apartment with a terrace.
I live in Las Vegas and I can't get over how expensive it is to live in New York. Before covid a 1 bedroom in Green Valley or Summerlin which is the rich parts of Vegas rented for no more than 1000 per month and were twice the size of most of the ones in New York. Now 1 bedrooms are anywhere from 1100 - 1400 that I have seen and we are complaining about how expensive they are now lol. You can rent a 5000 Sqft home with a pool right now for 4000 - 6000 per month here. So I am definitely appreciating the cost of rent here now.
You cash and charles are the nicest people you told the guys who were cleaning. Thank you for leting you two see the apt while they were working in it nice guys you two
The first apartment is very interesting, and with laundry and outdoor space, but since it doesn't have a legal bedroom I'd have to pass. The others comprise a selection of spacious units with ample closets and functional kitchens, all of them newly renovated, and all of them requiring an income of $110,000 and up, even when shared. I note that Charles had to warn Cash not to break anything.
Good for you Charles, for keeping Cash in line. I would rent something from you. I know you would be gentle on my new apartment. If I wanted to move to New York. Which I don't.
Charles makes a good sidekick for talkative Cash! 🤣😂😅😁🤣 like Johnny Carson and that man that used to sit beside him in some of his shows! I love their banter and it kinda makes Cash even funnier to watch Charles cringe when he thinks Cash has maybe broken something! 🤣😂😄
$3200 is highway robbery lol horrible price edit: $7400????? I wonder do ppl realize these prices are ruining it for ppl actually from NY?! crazy....you could afford a house and furnish it for $7400 a month, theres nothing no where in NY worth that lol
Cash you know what scares me in high rises. I wonder if it was put up right and will it ever colas fall down with me in it or a plane just running through it like years ago what happened plus fear oh hights noone could give me a place higher then the fifth floor I wouldn't take it for free and I'm a poor 77 year old black woman cash I love you and your cute family so mush the tours you take us on love it all thanks
That first little house duplex apartment would allow for decent living on the ground level and the production of cannabis on the basement level. Perfect for an entrepreneur and their family and/or business partners.
The continuing evolution of 'Bad Boys Apartment Rentals Realty' as Charles continues schooling Cash on his stress-testing of NYC apartments. You guys crack me up...but I foresee big things in your future...
Charles and Cash have the best friendship and the videos are so much better with them together 😂🎉
When Cash shows someone else's apartment I am disappointed it's not Charles. It's a plus when Charles makes an appearance.
YES! I LOVE their COLLAB! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏾👏🏾
I so agree!
Cash & Charles have the vest chemistry! 😂
Thank you Charles for teaching Cash to be gentle on opening and closing doors.
Hey, if it's not quality built it's not worth $5 million a month, right?
I'm always smiling big when I see Charles is in the video! And he's totally right about Cash smashing everything...who isn't waiting for him to break something with his stress testing? 😆
Charles trying to teach Crash how to open & close things is A+! 👍🏻😂💖
I’ve always thought that Cash was a little rough!! 🤣
He drives me crazy when he slams things shut! He's going to break something one day.
@@missybuckingham7756 exactly!

The dynamic duo!
Thank you to Charles for teaching Cash how to close appliances 👏 . I cringe ever time Cash slams an appliance door 😬
Same with me! 😂
Me too. I actually jump!
Gotta make sure it's worth the REDICULUS amount they charge....

Death trap for only $1600, Thanks, but no thanks.
@@banana9106 People in New York are living in very poor conditions, they can't even do there own laundry
I like Cash's reasoning - stress testing. Makes sense to me! 😀
Like sleeping in the closet, no windows ! 💀
I thought I'd seen all kinds of useless stuff in urban apts but the dual pedestal sinks in that small bathroom takes the cake 😂
Too weird. Why didn't they just buy a cabinet with a two sink insert top to it??
@@kathyflorcruz552 Probably a cabinet sticks out too far. Those sinks were tiny.
Maybe the landlord imagined that the toilet would be very crowded - if you are not shy, a lot of activities could take place out there at the same time
To spend $90,000 per year in rent for a so-so apartment even with stack-able laundry worth $700, is outrageous.
lol that's ny for you lml
Exactly.
Dude said “this huge marble countertop”. Meanwhile shit wasn’t big enough for a dish rack
Stress testing the appliances!! Cracked me up!! 😂. Charles has GOOD apartments to show!!

Never saw Cash break anything….
He's not broken anything. A lot of you are victims of groupthink and are just unnecessarily piling on the same comment.
He doesn't have to read the comments. He's with him when while he's slamming everything. He sees and hears the slamming.
It's not just the doors and drawers. When he chucks that remote I cringe. He's so rough on stuff.
Lol I thought I was the only one cringing when he slams everything lol. Love the show though
My husband and I had a good laugh about the fire and mushrooms. You two are so fun to watch.
