Bangkok Thailand is a great place to visit. I visited there a few years ago and loved the city, but the people are what made it for me. The street food is a must!
Come to Buffalo NY so you can complete your chicken wing quest! You have to visit the Original Anchor Bar where Teressa Bellissimo created Buffalo Wings in 1963, as well as other local spots such as Bar-Bill Tavern, Duff's, Wing Nutz, and La Nova Pizza. Trust me, the best wings in the world are here in Buffalo. Plus you can stop by Niagara Falls and catch a Bills game while you're in town, and even visit Toronto and do a whole different video on the most diverse city in the world!
We kind of take for granted just how much easier it is to navigate now with a GPS in our pockets. To people who travelled the world before the GPS era, I salute you guys.
Meh, I feel there used to be more signs and maps posted around. It's really not that hard when you're used to it. Just take a landmark or whatever you recognise and find it on the map. Or.. Just ask someone for directions.
I really thought you wouldnt be able to make it to each borough because as any NYC native knows, the MTA is notorious for being constantly delayed but you somehow managed a perfect a schedule! Props and congrats to you for completing your challanges! Looking forward to you future projects.
I feel like New York is so much easier than survive without a phone than a lot of places. I wouldn't know how to go to a grocery store or get food if I were in a smaller town. Haven't watch the video yet, so I'm excited
Certified awesome video from this New Yorker! I love seeing you highlighting some of the more local spots in NYC. There is so much more to this great city than times square and central park and the touristy destinations. All of the little enclaves and neighborhoods all have unique personalities and are really fun to explore. Great video!
Thanks for the message at the end of your videos. I suffered so much loss this year and I’m spiralling down. TH-cam videos keep me company at night and I appreciate it. Please keep it in all of your videos, I know I’m not the only one
Can't believe this bloke doesn't have more subs, his videos are always perfectly made, no dilly-dallying, entertaining and binge-worthy. I always chuck one on when eating. Keep it up, Sam!
The fact that Sam hasn’t blown up is crazy to me. He’s had a few viral videos but they haven’t blown him up. Sam if you see this I just wanna say never give up and never stop making top notch videos… your loyal fans need something to watch while we eat dinner!!! Much love brother can’t wait for the next one
Why unlisted? its a great video! when I was 18 I flew form LA to New York for a week with 150 dollars to my name, ended up walking everywhere and doing only things that are free and I absolutely fell in love with it! Ive been back multiple times since and will never get tired of it!
I did a foreign exchange in high school. I think I just looked at the google map before I went out. I honestly can’t remember. The subway in my city helped me get around a lot. I do remember getting lost somtimes but I conquered São Paulo some how.
Tip from a New Yorker: for the last challenge to get to the Bronx, you could have taken the M60 Select Bus service since it stops at Astoria Blvd, and take it to Lexington avenue and 125th street, where you’ll find the same train(the 4 train) that has the stop closest to Yankee Stadium. Besides that this was an amazing video! Your knowledge of NYC transit is already great from this video alone.
This is an absolutely incredible video!! I'm going to NYC next year for the first time and this just makes me want to go sooner! Really creative idea, outstanding editing. Well done!
This video along with every other video you’ve put out have not failed to peak my enjoyment! Your motivation and drive in all these videos is top tier and should be more recognized!
heyyy it’s astoria, that’s my hood!! this video is so refreshing to watch as a native new yorker. i’m glad that you enjoyed this little travel challenge :)
LOVE your channel mate. Love your kind and caring message and all the positivity you preach and bring into the world. Love your work mate, keep being you ❤
If you can make it here, you can make it anywhere. That was a subtle old school reference that was totally worth it. Even if half your audience doesn't get it.
Keep doing your thing Sam, I know it's gonna hit big one day!! Love all of your videos brother. The amount of effort on the backend with the editing does not go unseen
I love it Sam. I have been trying to go stretches without looking at my phone and every time I do so, it makes life so much more enjoyable. Moving to the city soon and can't wait to to do my own version of this challenge.
The main thing that I struggle with is finding long format content to listen to at work that I don't get disinterested with halfway through, and with your channel I have not had that issue with any of your videos. 100% completion so far, lmao
Dude I was born and raised in NY(Bronx) and lived in queens for 2 years and *hated* how the streets, roads etc. all had the same numbers lol. This video was cool, made me super nostalgic for New York.
If you want a more detailed map for free, ask for the MTA _Bus_ maps. There's one for every borough, and you can get it from the same booth you got the Subway map. Most stations will have only the borough you're in, but big stations will have all 5 boroughs.
This showed up on my recommended list. I love this video because Yes Theory does similar challenges like this (Spend 24 hours in X city of X country with no money)
i’m definitely going to look into the light phone- thanks for mentioning it. i’ve been thinking recently i’d want something like that to improve my quality of life. love your message and your videos as usual!!
You're a good dude Sam. Loving watching your channel grow. You must've been tired by the time you made it to the Bronx, understandable you didn't get the exact right field! 5 boroughs all in one day is a lot even with a phone lol!
Really delightful, thank you Sam! Super fun idea, well planned, well edited, keep up the great work! Definitely inspiring me to go do the same (locally, not in New York)
Such a fun video. Even though everyone knows NYC it's still cool to see you in my neighborhood lol. I'd be interested to see you come back and try it again with what you've learned. Maybe visit every neighborhood in Manhattan or something
Genuinely Sam, it is amazing to watch your contact. Grow in involve you really deserve so much more credit than you get. I’m just so thankful that you enjoy doing this and you provide such solid contact. I’m always looking forward to the next video. Keep it up.
Thanks so much for watching!! Any recommendations for where I should go next???

Bangkok Thailand is a great place to visit. I visited there a few years ago and loved the city, but the people are what made it for me. The street food is a must!
would be hilarious to do this in Houston, which has been mentioned as one of the worst cities when it comes to navigating around without a car

Come to New Orleans! You’re welcome to stay under my roof, I’m from Baton Rouge. Give the south a better rap than it gets :)

Your videos are actually so good it’s unbelievable
Agreed!
As a New Yorker, I’m super impressed because I wouldn’t have been able to do this and I was born and raised in Brooklyn
I really thought you wouldnt be able to make it to each borough because as any NYC native knows, the MTA is notorious for being constantly delayed but you somehow managed a perfect a schedule! Props and congrats to you for completing your challanges! Looking forward to you future projects.
Sam’s channel is amazing. He definitely doesn’t get the recognition he deserves! Keep up the good work man, love your videos!!
Thinking critically about which way the sun is setting >>>
Not enough people are doing this these days
Infinitely true

@@theUBERsashimi That's an odd comment to make. I'm a New Yorker, I wasn't referencing Sam, I was referencing myself.
Thanks Michael!!!

Appreciate you saying that. Hang in there!
You are not alone. I can relate. Hope you are doing better. Times are rough now.
My eyes lit up seeing you had a new video, didn't expect something on this level. Really great job Sam, I appreciate this channel tons!
Thank you!!
Can't believe this bloke doesn't have more subs, his videos are always perfectly made, no dilly-dallying, entertaining and binge-worthy. I always chuck one on when eating. Keep it up, Sam!

Loved the B-Roll of people scrolling, thought it was a nice touch. Also I had a dream I went to nyc after watching this!
Ok wait I am very impressed that you had time to watch this and take a nap with dreams and everything in the 5 hours since this was posted. Well done!
Nap dreams >>

Nice!! I just have to upload videos as unlisted and wait for the copyright claims to clear before publishing. You got a sneak peak 🤫

This is an absolutely incredible video!! I'm going to NYC next year for the first time and this just makes me want to go sooner! Really creative idea, outstanding editing. Well done!
This is so easy. Born and raised Brooklyn and didn't have a phone till 2006. Got myself a 20 year birthday present.
This was such a fun watch as someone who has lived and worked in NYC but is not from there! Would love to see this as a series in different cities!
Underrated, you deserve so many more views brother
the quality of these videos is so good - definitely represents the quality you expect from a 1m sub channel.
That taco bell in Herald Square is one of the few (maybe just 2?) reasonably priced taco bell's in Manhattan. Glad you found it.
This video along with every other video you’ve put out have not failed to peak my enjoyment! Your motivation and drive in all these videos is top tier and should be more recognized!
omg! I own an aparment right near where you were in Manhattan. Glad you got to experience nyc!

Great video. Amazing background music track selections.
I’m surprised this video only has 40k views. Well done!

Another 10/10 video! I laughed, I reflected, I remembered it's all going to be okay.

You're a good dude Sam. Loving watching your channel grow. You must've been tired by the time you made it to the Bronx, understandable you didn't get the exact right field! 5 boroughs all in one day is a lot even with a phone lol!
Haha I was definitely tired by that point!! Thanks for the kind words
I loved this one. Good work, Sam!
This was incredible. And just what I needed today.
I’ve just binged like 5 videos. You got something great here
I liked this a lot. Nothing else to contribute, but leaving the comment anyway because comments are good for the youtube algorithm.

You've quickly become one of my favourite channels. Great vid :)
I’m genuinely surprised this doesn’t has more views.
Amazing vid definitely gonna supscribe🙌🙌
This was an awesome video, I’d never go to New York as I hate crowded places and just don’t cope well, but like seeing videos about the place.
I love grabbing the editing on the Taco Bell part! Great!
Your videos are great man! I don't think I left a comment on a video in over a year. I hope you get the full recognition you deserve soon!
