Thanks so much for your support everyone! I have been working super hard on this story since the grumps video came out and have been working on taking feedback on board which you all gave to me with audio and biassed storytelling
i had this video sitting in my watch later for 10 months. finally i watched it. holy shit instant favorite. great work man ugh i want to know what happened to the real bobby Dunbar so baddddddd. such a sad and confusing story. i felt that the dunbars were in so much pain and suffering, that naturally they convinced themselves this must be their son to fill that void. i think if it really was their son there would have been zero doubt. i feel bad for the mother who lost her son to the village vote, but i feel maybe the father was abusive, and this is why the kid wanted to be Bobby. he saw this nice life he could have instead of his current. his father deserved the prison time but his mother did not deserve losing him. such a sad conflicting story, especially knowing that maybe, just maybe, the real bobby was still out there and the search stopped so he wasn't found. that's if he was kidnapped. if he was eaten by an animal... well i guess in a f'd up way at least the dunbars found relief for their pain, but unfortunately at the expense of another.
Man once this channel gets rolling (which it 100% will), and gets a decent catalogue of vids on it, its gonna be one of the best channels on youtube. Top shelf stuff your doing here, really appreciate it.
That's seriously so super nice of you to say that, Thank you 🥹 It'll get there slowly but surely no doubt at all 😊 These videos take awhile to make but I'm a big believer in quality over quantity for this sorta thing always so I always think it's worth the wait ❤️ Thanks again for watching!!
you just came out of NOWHERE and started dropping these absolute BANGERS, huh? keep up the good work! i love this your work so far and can't wait to see what else you've got cooking!
Wow! What brilliant storytelling. It's insane that something of this production value is coming from a channel with so few videos. Can't wait to see what you have planned for later.
Wow. What a story. Would do great in a movie. Like, we have such sophisticated methods of identification nowadays that this wouldn't be possible now. My mind remains blown. Great video, Cassette. Keep bangers like this rolling and I will be an eagerly returning customer.
Im actually watching this now before your new upload about the missing youtuber since I missed this upload when it happened and I gotta catch up on your stuff now. You do really really well done clean work and are going to take off man. Keep going cause your content is a breath of fresh air for the platform imo ❤
You are insanely talented. I instantly subscribed after the JonTron video and was super happy to see another upload in my feed. You are incredible at Storytelling and I have no doubt that if you maintain this level of quality and consistency, you will have a 100k sub channel in no time.
That's so lovely of you to say 🥹 Thank you so so much! I've got loads more to come and plenty of interesting stories down the road 😊 Appreciate you so much ❤️
Shocked to see you only have 8k subs. Your videos have such extreme production quality, thoroughly researched content and insightful narrative throughlines. Pretty cool to be in on the ground floor and excited to see your channel flourish. 🤙
Thanks so much, that's such a lovely thing to say ❤ I put a tonne of work into the R&D of these videos and it means a lot to me that it shows 🥹 Appreciate you so much for your support on my stuff, it means everything to me
Wow, the editing is amazing. This is incredibly well-put and intriguing all the more!! I am really happy to call myself one of the first 10k haha. Hope your channel grows all the more!
Fantastic video, incredibly well researched, presented and narrated. Really kept me hooked without falling into the usual trappings of most "Unsolved mystery" videos that feel forced or overproduced or overly dramatic. Great stuff!
That's super lovely of you to say, thanks a million ❤️ Story is super important to me with these things and I'm a sucker for getting absorbed into these sorts of things 😊 Appreciate you!
ohhh this channel is fantastic, instant subscribe. i just discovered the GameGrumps video earlier today and i thought to myself "man i wish i could watch that for the first time again" but instead there's a whole other video!!! so excited to watch both this, and more projects in the future!! the effort put into these videos is just crazy
Wow thanks so much!! Plenty more to come! I'm so happy you love these, It makes all the months of hard work worth it when I get to read comments like yours ❤️ Appreciate you so much
Sorry I’m late but I finally got around to watching your next video! I can’t believe the amount of talent you have. I’m so excited for whatever you make next and I can already put you in my top 10 TH-camrs after just two videos! Love you man and please keep the videos coming!
That really does mean a whole lot to me! 🥹 I was really nervous about this video because it was so different from the grumps video, but it’s been worthwhile to read comments like yours ❤️
I subscribed after your first video, and I am *so* glad I did! This channel has a ton of promise and I can't wait for your future uploads! This video was great, the quality is superb (which I've just realised is a word I've never used before), and I love the vibe of your videos. So cool! I can see myself spending many hours in the future listening to/watching your videos. Keep up the great work :)
Wow, Thank you so much for your wonderful comment!! I work so so hard on these and it's always worth it more than you know when I read messages like yours, so genuinely from the bottom of my heart, thank you!
@@itscassette Awh that's so nice of you to say! Thank you for responding to my comment, you're very welcome! The work you put in definitely shows. I also appreciate how you cover things that aren't well-known, it's cool to learn about really obscure stories :) You're doing great! ^_^
Thank you so much!! That's so so kind of you to say and thank you for the dono! I don't make a lot of money with these at all and it's so lovely of you to do that 🥹 I'm really really lucky to have someone like yourself watching
The versatility shown by you is amazing my friend. This video and your second video have two completely different topics and feels to them, but are great in their own right. I’m glad I found you.
That's so so lovely of you to say 🥹 I was super worried about doing a video like this because it WAS a bit different from the grumps video, But I'm so thrilled you loved this video all the same
Thank you so much for making such brilliant and well-researched content. I can't wait to see this channel grow and become akin to Lemmio! If I were to suggest one improvement it would be this; If you want to use AI (I don't agree with it, or like it personally for the fact it steals from so many other creatives) then it might be a good idea to label the images as AI, especially when using them in real life and historical cases. Our understanding of history is already being changed by AI generated images and most people are unaware or not thinking critically enough (or just lazy) to assess if these images are AI or not, especially on the internet. So, I think it would be really helpful to include something in the corner of each image to disclose that it is AI. It might also be useful to include a "Not actual photo of ____" if using REAL photos that aren't anything to do with the subject or case you're presenting. I really enjoy your work and want to see you get big and do well, so please don't take my critique as anything but well-meaning.
Thanks so much for your feedback and your lovely words! Yeah I totally understand 😊 With this story it was a hard one as the amount of physical media is seriously thin on the ground, It's not going to be a mainstay by any means and was more a visual aide for progressing the story 🥰 It's one of those moments where you realise so far down the avenue how little you have to visually work with hahaha! Lessons have been learned! Thank you for your lovely feedback I seriously appreciate it!!!
First time watching ,knew this story ,but your presentation was enthralling .Just wonderful. Thank you for all your effort in presenting this story ,to us ,the interested. Keep it up , I for one will be watching ❤
Thank you so much!! Truthfully I'm just amazed at where it's at right now, Everything is a bonus to me :') Appreciate you so much and thanks for watching!!
I just deadass watched this entire video like "who is this, I need to subscribe," only to go to your channel and see that you only have one other video, and that I loved it and was already subscribed. You got me hooked twice over now
Great storytelling, amazing montage, attention to details of the story was also unmatched. I wait for more, you will be big one day if this quality keeps up.
Great work!!! I really enjoyed this video that just randomly showed up on my newsfeed. I’m so looking forward to watching more of your work and I know you’ll have great success. Thank you Sir!!! 🤩🤩🤩🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽
The quality of this video is so incredible. For a story that had so little existing related historical images, you managed to make it so engaging. Great use of what I assume is AI generated imagery mixed with visual effects to enhance the storytelling!
Wow! Thank you so much 🥹❤️ You're absolutely right! The images are all Midjourney v5 and v5.1 as there is only 12 or so photos for the whole event, My goal was to make a suite of images that took the story to a new dimension, more so than it had been before and I'm so glad you loved it 😊 Appreciate you so much
I thought this story sounded a little familiar in the opening minutes, then as you described the identifying marks I literally got full body chills realizing who this was about
It's such a good story! I went right down the rabbit hole on R&D for this one, crazy all the little details surround it! Thanks so much for watching lovely
Goddamn, I was here from almost the start of the channel even though you are now on your 3rd video (2 main videos) the level of editing is insane from the music all the way to transitions, I hope people discover this channel and the videos hit off with big reaction streamers (people like HasanAbi etc) discover your hard work and a big audience discover your amazing work that still somehow gets better and better even after just 2 big videos, keep finding unique stories like this and keep up the great work Cassette!
That's so lovely of you to think I'm worthy of being reacted to by streamers etc!! I would be so happy if that happened :') I watch quite a lot of those types of streamers as it's great to get a commentary track on what you're watching
That's such a lovely thing to say! Thank you so so much Christopher!! I'm just blown away where I am at already, stunned the numbers haven't flatlined lol! Will keep making great stuff
Impressive work, man. I've been on TH-cam for more than a decade but never got more than a measly 6K subs. I always feel like I've seen everything this platform has to offer and it's easy to get cynical. But what you're doing here, and the Jontron video before it, is great work. You've already passed me in subscribers without breaking a sweat with only 2 very well done videos, and I think it's well-earned. Goes to show that quality will always top quantity. When you reach a million, I'll be happy to say that I was watching you from the start. Keep at it. I believe in you.
Wow, That's so kind of you to say such a nice thing, Thank you!! As one creator to the other, I fully appreciate how hard it is to break out of where you're at, What you won't know is that I've had channels before this that did nowhere near as good, And I used each of them as a learning exercise to push forwards with this one. When it came time to making Cassette I made a bible for how I should approach content, Specific rules etc. Story for me on Cassette is the core of everything. I could do the editing on my old channel but I wasn't focussed. Cassette allowed me to start over and hit go on that laser focussed approach and I'm so glad i did. I checked out your stuff and you're a natural my man, Keep your head up and keep making what you wanna make, Give people a great show. It genuinely only takes one video before your whole catalogue is showcased to everyone on the algo
to be more specific, i like the voice sound effect. there are new pictures like every few seconds, so while you can just listen, youre gonna wanna watch. theres constant movement, soft music and a nice even tone. i know nothing about video production so these are the only compliments i can voice, but there are more things i like that i just dont know how to describe. your story telling is good, too!
Banger video honestly. I do have to wonder how much of the story was sensationalized at the time. Like how could something like the sandal anecdote be true if the boy was not him? Another coincidence? And the mystery of the child origin. How he ended up with some guy that seemed to lie about their relationship, and was stranged from his mother to that degree. Very interesting, looking forward to the next one
Thanks so much for your lovely comment!! I know I'm fully with you, The press for the local area went mad for it with several full page spreads dedicated just to the story, I'm sure it's gotta be a coincidence with the sandal, with not wanting to go back to Julia I imagine he'd suddenly been indoctrinated into a rich life with a pony and a bike, and if Julia had set him up with a man that whipped him, he'd wanna get away from that as fast as possible, no matter what age he was at lol Appreciate your comment and your view, Both mean so much to me
I'm so glad I subscribed! What an amazing story, delivery and production. I feel the AI generated images do muddy the vibe a little, especially with the swaths of faceless automated channels that have been popping up recently, makes it feel kind of fake, though I understand why they were used. Perhaps a more artsy and less literal style could have sold it better, like using an illustrated newspaper style instead of BW photos, just a small suggestion though I really enjoyed the video overall, I can see you're very passionate. ^^
Wow, Thank you so much for your seriously kind words!! I feel that RE the AI images, It is a bit of a tricky one when it comes down to it as there's only 12 or so images, so I'd have to use some sort of photoshop job which may have taken out of the story, I only realised when I got into production properly that this was the case and had already come too far hahaha, I don't anticipate it being a mainstay by any means however :-) Just part of the unique demands of this story. Thanks again for watching and for your feedback, Both mean the absolute world to me ❤️
The video was really good but please don't neglect the (timing of the) subtitles and how important they're to some of us, some people require the captions to be accurate to understand the video. The use of AI is understandable and the honesty on the credits is appreciated. Please continue delivering high quality content, you have a bright future!
It's unfortunate that the immense success of the Grumps video didn't translate into a huge number of subscribers and long term retention. When I saw your intro on that video I thought "Damn, okay, this guy is an established thing already and knows what he's doing." When you ended it with "this was my first video" I was gobsmacked. Then I went to see if you'd uploaded again and found this, another video that had excellent production quality and, while doing well for the second video on a new channel, was criminally underserved by the algorithm gods in comparison to the incredibly strong start that was given to begin with. Your videos are excellent. I hope you continue to make them, so far as you're able. Videos about youtube drama are going to get a boost, especially when you not only clickbait a resolution to a 10 year old mystery but actually deliver - but that's clearly not what you want to make videos about forever. I'm not sure what my message is here, if there is one. Perhaps that, at least to me, someone with 0 actual expertise, it would seem you have two general options. 1: chase the numbers. Find more old drama to really dig into, and not general shitty youtube "investigations" that just cover the same 5 details everyone else has covered but the obscure details (I've been an avid member of conspiracy grumps and rantgrumps for 8 years and you found a detail even I wasn't aware of) and comprehensive consideration you are clearly capable of applying in order to get some useful answers to people that only saw surface details back when it happened. Things like Doctor Disrespect's mystery ban (that he almost certainly knows the reason for). 2: passion projects. What you appear to be doing. It'll probably get fewer views for a few years or maybe forever, but eventually it might translate into decent financial assistance. "Man in cave." by Internet Historian is an excellent example of this working, and the Down The Rabbit Hole series by Fredrik Knudsen is another. Both are now professionally produced, however, and already have an established viewerbase. If you're not concerned with financially supporting yourself through these, though, this is a fairly healthy way to run a hobby channel - don't get concerned with numbers and performance and make whatever the hell you feel like at whatever pace you enjoy working at. This is your thing to do with as you like, and I look forward to whatever you do make! My only feedback on your videos so far is that while you don't have to swear for your own expression, it's a bit cringe to censor or skip certain words when quoting other people. It's distracting if you're watching the screen and see it but don't hear it, and it takes away from the message of the person you're quoting for those that aren't watching the screen. Suzy's infamous rage rant post on the Jon question was rather castrated by skipping the profanity. I heard it and thought "That felt a lot more reasonable than what I remember reading."
Thanks so much for your tremendous insight and ideas, these mean more to me than I could possibly tell you. Cassette is my way of bringing great stories to people, Ultimately they have to be gripping no matter what they are and whilst you have a lot of Game Grumps fans on Video #1, Video #2 was always gonna be a little bit slower on reception because it is SO different from a let's play channel! Ultimately the way I look at this channel is I wanna do what I think makes a good video, The Grumps video sat flat for 60 days before the algo picked it up and this video may do the same (Dunno until we get there!) As far as I'm concerned both have far surpassed my wildest expectations in terms of response. I was admittedly a little nervous about making this one but I am so thrilled and pleased I did after it was received as well as it was. It's interesting you mentioned man in cave, It was the kick I needed to push on with this story myself, it may be a slow burner in its lifespan but I am thrilled it's gotten way over 10% of my sub base :-D For me it's not really ever been about the numbers and chasing "hot topics", I wanna make what I think are REALLY great stories and both of these hit the mark for me in terms of grip and intrigue! The next one is TH-cam focussed and I can see it doing well vs this video but we'll see! I really appreciate you sharing your thoughts with me and your extreme kidness telling me you love my work, I'm one guy working on these when I can and truly it means the world to read comments like your own. Appreciate you so much
What a fantastic story! I didn't expect the tragedy would eventually lead to things working out for the family. The wrongfully accused and Bruce's birth mother definitely got screwed, but there didn't seem to be any malicious intent from any of the main parties involved toward one another. Just one hell of a fucked up situation for sure. Great damn video, can't believe I've just now gotten around to watching but glad I did!
Still figuring it out for myself atm haha, I'll have the idea on lock soon once I've mentally digested this one, Best bet is to keep an eye on my twitter as production teases and screenshots make their way over to there before TH-cam :-) Appreciate you and thanks so much for you kind words
Thanks for the kind words about the video! I vibe with the take on AI :-) With this story specifically there is only 12 or so photos, so in order to add depth to the story telling and give something visually interesting I had to use AI to do this. I do understand why it took you out of the experience though, Sorry about that! I'm not planning on making it a mainstay, It was more of a necessity with the unique demands of the story :-) Thanks again for watching
The only thing that bothers me about this is the matter of the young boy supposedly saying "Look mama, they're like the shoes I was wearing before". You may not have been able to find confirmation, but I wonder whether that was something reported by his mother or a falsehood spun by one of the many news outlets covering the story. You never backtracked to address that statement, so its validity is extremely unclear.
Hi! Thanks so much for watching! This line is taken from a publication written by Margret Dunbar Cutright which served for the main source behind the video, which in turn gets its data and info from the news sources of the time :-) Whenever I mentioned quotes, I tried to do so where I could back these up myself on multiple newspapers, in this case the St. Landry Clarion and the New Orleans Item. I spent so much time on the Library of Congress website haha I do fully see where you're coming from in that a lot of the papers were rushing to get the story out and there was so many inconsistencies in the info, but using retrospect and a lot of hunting through the internet we can back up the truer claims today :-) Appreciate your feedback and thanks so much for watching!!
Great video! I'd never heard this story before. It's insane that such a coincidence is even possible! One very minor critique i have, (although your reasoning may excuse it, as I haven't ever made a documentary 🤣 ) would be the overuse in AI generated images. Potential copyright issues aside, (because AI generated images are generated from a set of images on the internet, technically it could be infringing on the copyright of those who took the photos, but no one really knows the limitations yet, as the technology is way to young) I found the uncannyness to be somewhat distracting. But like I said, VERY minor issue. I was definitely impressed with the overall pacing and storytelling, and can't wait to see your next video!
That's super kind of you to say such lovely things! Thank you so much!! I do fully understand that AI is a dicy topic. With a video like this there's only 12 or so official photos that I could pull from and without going too crazy on stock footage I had to add some visual weight to the story. I don't want to use AI too much going forward, I see it as a tool that's allowed the conception of this video which because of the age of it wouldn't have been able to be put together so visually with such detail before without say a photoshop job :') Again I know AI has its detractors as well as supporters, So I fully appreciate, I just knew it would be a great method of getting the visuals I wanted on the table :-) I appreciate you so much and thanks for your comment
If it comes out that you're hbomberguy under a pseudonym I want it to be known that I called it. honestly though crazy you're only at 8k subscribers, your content is some of the highest quality on here
For sure! Took extra care on this one, totally my fault with the grumps video, I wish I could re-render and replace the audio track but alas I cannot :( Still, I can take the hit on it and be better going forward hey? Glad it's better on this one!
Julia Anderson went on to have 7 more children and became a midwife , did outreach community services with her church and went on to live a quiet life… she did not die soon after. ❤ It’s how they were able to trace the DNA 😊
Eaten by a alligator. No way they could search every place in the lake. Alligators stuff their kill in water, under logs, vines etc until ready to eat them. Kid was probably hunkered down playing in the water and the gator jumped out of the water, rolled him till Boddy drowned and he never got the chance to scream.
Came across the JonTron video a few weeks ago and while it definitely was really good, I have to say this video obliterates it in terms of both production and the story itself.
Thanks so much for watching! I can totally see why your Uncle had some incorrect details because the amount of inconsistances between newspapers of the time and official recollections not matching up was wild!
Hahaha I feel that! Truth be told I was a little nervous putting this out there as it was SO different, But I'm glad I did, The next one is YT related :-) Cassette is a way of me bringing great stories out to as many people as I can in the best way I can do it, Be it on YT or off :-D Appreciate you
If the child was filthy in the sherrifs care how was that looking after him and why would the father bring a filthy child all the way back to his wife,u couldn't make this up! All round nut jobs😮
There is still a chance that he was the original Bobby. If Alonzo or Bobby were the product of an unknown affair, the DNA would not match. The only way to know 100% would be testing through a maternal line.
That's an excellent point, wow 👀 There's little evidence to support this was the case, but it's a really fascinating idea and some people really do take things to the grave. Thank you so much for watching and your support ❤️ Both mean the world to me
I almost tend to agree. Result mixing also happens. It’s the mole placement, sandals and using the same word for a word he couldn’t pronounce that got me. There’s just no way. I can also see him not accepting an embrace from the father if he believed he would have been abandoned and not looked for like a 4 year old might. I wonder if he ever answered to the name Heavy?
Bruce thought to himself the Dunbar's are loaded i can have a wonderful life. That's what I think anyways. Or the Dunbars were like look your family is poor we'll give you anything you want.
Hi! I do understand fully the sentiment re AI. I understand that some folks don’t like or want it around and I understand that. I had to walk a fine line with making the video visually interesting with little surviving footage and using ai as a tool to aide the storytelling. It's a side effect of a very old story like this unfortunately that there's not much visually for me to pull from. I don't plan on making AI a mainstay by any stretch of the imagination! I just wanna make the best videos I can in contents with writing, sound and visually - and that may mean from time to time using tools I have at my disposal to get the job done :-) As mentioned however I don't forsee this being a complete mainstay, Just down to the story and it's unique demands. I appreciate you for leaving feedback on this and I do fully echo the sentiments shared
@@itscassette Thank you for the quick response, I really appreciate it. I'll keep an eye on the channel and see where it goes from here, because there's some potential here
English, French, Spanish and Japanese for the warning at the beginning O.o lol just put it in English my dude. The entire video is in the English so why do you have some random foreign translations at the beginning, so people who speak those three languages can be warned about the flashing lights and then not understand the video after? It's pointless.
Hi! Thanks for your feedback! Unfortunately as there is only around 12 official images there was no way of making them stretch to the full runtime, The images, although AI, allow a visual to be painted along to the story, although I appreciate they are not for everyone!
@@itscassette I think it's more that the systems used to create AI images are fairly unethical and usually require stealing photos and artwork from people for the database without asking or paying them. I totally get that there weren't many photos available but if possible to avoid it people would appreciate it!
@@hayleyquinnx94 That's very kind of you to say! I do understand fully the sentiment re AI's data sources being taken without permission or payment. I had to walk a fine line with making the video visually interesting with little surviving footage and being ethical.
I’m glad that you take the time and energy to create a great documentary man! Super appreciative of it!
I appreciate that! Thanks so much 🥰
ohhh this channel is fantastic, instant subscribe. i just discovered the GameGrumps video earlier today and i thought to myself "man i wish i could watch that for the first time again" but instead there's a whole other video!!!
so excited to watch both this, and more projects in the future!! the effort put into these videos is just crazy
Wow thanks so much!! Plenty more to come! I'm so happy you love these, It makes all the months of hard work worth it when I get to read comments like yours ❤️ Appreciate you so much
Amazing job on the doc chief!

Sorry I’m late but I finally got around to watching your next video! I can’t believe the amount of talent you have. I’m so excited for whatever you make next and I can already put you in my top 10 TH-camrs after just two videos! Love you man and please keep the videos coming!
I’m so pleased you enjoyed the video!!! Thanks so much for your incredible support 🥹 it means the world to me ❤️
I subbed for the GG video but this is honestly a welcome change of pace. I really enjoyed this and look forward to your future work!
I also appreciate how you cover things that aren't well-known, it's cool to learn about really obscure stories :)
You're doing great! ^_^
Still so impressive and amazing of how great quality these videos have been, can’t wait to see the next one! :D
That’s so unbelievably kind of you to say 🥹 Thank you so much 🥰
The amount of effort is astounding. Wish the best for you man.

Cheers for taking it kindly! I love the content you've put out so far and I'll be looking forward to more! @@itscassette

I just deadass watched this entire video like "who is this, I need to subscribe," only to go to your channel and see that you only have one other video, and that I loved it and was already subscribed. You got me hooked twice over now

Amazing I subbed after just two vids your editing and storytelling is really great man
Thanks so much 🥹 That's so lovely of you to say that ❤️ I'm so glad you enjoyed!
The quality of this video is so incredible. For a story that had so little existing related historical images, you managed to make it so engaging. Great use of what I assume is AI generated imagery mixed with visual effects to enhance the storytelling!
Wow! Thank you so much 🥹❤️ You're absolutely right! The images are all Midjourney v5 and v5.1 as there is only 12 or so photos for the whole event, My goal was to make a suite of images that took the story to a new dimension, more so than it had been before and I'm so glad you loved it 😊 Appreciate you so much
Very well put together video! I was entertained the entire time. Looking forward to more!
I'm so glad to hear that!! Thanks a million for watching, It means more than I can possibly communicate! ❤️

Thanks so much for your lovely words! So much more to come!!
@@itscassette Thank you! You're a good man. I'll be here for your next upload.

Amazing video ❤
This means the world coming from you man 🥹❤️
to be more specific, i like the voice sound effect. there are new pictures like every few seconds, so while you can just listen, youre gonna wanna watch. theres constant movement, soft music and a nice even tone. i know nothing about video production so these are the only compliments i can voice, but there are more things i like that i just dont know how to describe. your story telling is good, too!
I really appreciate your feedback, thank you
another beautiful and interesting video! im excited to see more
Thanks so much!! I'm super pleased you loved it :D
I know I'm fully with you, The press for the local area went mad for it with several full page spreads dedicated just to the story, I'm sure it's gotta be a coincidence with the sandal, with not wanting to go back to Julia I imagine he'd suddenly been indoctrinated into a rich life with a pony and a bike, and if Julia had set him up with a man that whipped him, he'd wanna get away from that as fast as possible, no matter what age he was at lol
Appreciate your comment and your view, Both mean so much to me
Absolutely fantastic! Beautiful.
I'm so pleased that you loved it!! It seriously means the world to me 🥰 Thank you so much!!
Thanks again for watching and for your feedback, Both mean the absolute world to me ❤️
That was abother excellent, well researched and well told video. Keep it up.
I appreciate that so so so much
@@itscassette No problem. I look forward to your next video.
Great job! Keep it going.
Thank you so much
The video was really good but please don't neglect the (timing of the) subtitles and how important they're to some of us, some people require the captions to be accurate to understand the video.
The use of AI is understandable and the honesty on the credits is appreciated.
Please continue delivering high quality content, you have a bright future!
That means so much to me! Thank you so much for your seriously kind words

I seriously appreciate that! Thanks so much for your support and for watching ❤️
It's interesting you mentioned man in cave, It was the kick I needed to push on with this story myself, it may be a slow burner in its lifespan but I am thrilled it's gotten way over 10% of my sub base :-D
For me it's not really ever been about the numbers and chasing "hot topics", I wanna make what I think are REALLY great stories and both of these hit the mark for me in terms of grip and intrigue!

Love these
I’m so glad you love them! It makes all the time and energy worth it 🥰
Good video but the AI generated images broke the mood. So many images of people with warped faces and were cross-eyed lol
I cannot express how excited I am to watch this.
I hope you love it!!
The production value on this video and the game grumps one are both insane
That means so much to me like I couldn't ever communicate to you. So much goes into these and it means a lot that the effort is felt and shared
I spent so much time on the Library of Congress website haha
I do fully see where you're coming from in that a lot of the papers were rushing to get the story out and there was so many inconsistencies in the info, but using retrospect and a lot of hunting through the internet we can back up the truer claims today :-)
Appreciate your feedback and thanks so much for watching!!
I don't want to use AI too much going forward, I see it as a tool that's allowed the conception of this video which because of the age of it wouldn't have been able to be put together so visually with such detail before without say a photoshop job :')
Again I know AI has its detractors as well as supporters, So I fully appreciate, I just knew it would be a great method of getting the visuals I wanted on the table :-)
I appreciate you so much and thanks for your comment

Julia Anderson went on to have 7 more children and became a midwife , did outreach community services with her church and went on to live a quiet life… she did not die soon after. ❤

That's so kind of you to say
It's like an Internet Historian video except taking more seriously
That's really super kind of you to say! Being compared to a great like IH is really humbling. Thank you
Oh yeah, I remember learning about this story, decently well known in the Deep South. Though my uncle’s recounting had a lot of the details incorrect.
Thanks so much for watching! I can totally see why your Uncle had some incorrect details because the amount of inconsistances between newspapers of the time and official recollections not matching up was wild!
I must say, this is not the followup to the JonTron/GameGrumps drama ai expected. I ain’t complaining tho!
Hahaha I feel that! Truth be told I was a little nervous putting this out there as it was SO different, But I'm glad I did, The next one is YT related :-)

Isn't EVERYONE who is missing STILL missing until they're found??
If the real Bobby Dunbar died, then at least the fake one got a good life out of this.
Huge Departure from Jontron lol
I feel that! Wanted to put this story out there as I felt it was a really great one to share :D Thanks for watching!
Bruce thought to himself the Dunbar's are loaded i can have a wonderful life. That's what I think anyways. Or the Dunbars were like look your family is poor we'll give you anything you want.
I was going to subcribe, but the overuse of AI generated images put me off (Who's to say that the script is not AI generated too?)
It's pointless.
you're gunna shit when you find out other languages exist and they also use TH-cam
Mfw subtitles button???? 🤨
please dont use hideous ai images its to distracting man
(the video is very cool though!)
@@hayleyquinnx94 That's very kind of you to say! I do understand fully the sentiment re AI's data sources being taken without permission or payment.
