I installed one fan and the fan works fine but on startup it does not do the reverse then forward like it shows in the manual. It just starts going in one direction. Any idea on that?
Installed my ceiling fan. Paired it but the led didn’t blink . I can control the fan, but the led doesn’t seem to be working. I can’t turn on the led with the remote. Any tip you give me to troubleshoot it?
On the electrical connection section. Connecting the ground wire. My wife thought that was a red wire when that's actually the bare copper wire. You may want to point that out to any installer who isn't an electrician.
Hello, we have tried following this tutorial numerous times. We have two fans that were initially installed to one remote however we believe there is issues with this so trying to pair to two separate remotes. Both fans are on a downward rod and located on same breaker. When you say “disconnect from power” to begin pairing on one fan while other is off, do we do this by fan motor where light and blades are or do we have to pull down from top of downward rod? Or do you have a video of this?
My Problem is I have 3 of them installed on my patio, and it doesn't have dip switches which makes it difficult to pair the controls as all three are on the same light switch.. Any Suggestions?
We had this fan installed about 18 months ago. We love it. But it now makes a single "thunk" sound when we turn it on. Has anyone experienced this? Any clues on how to fix the problem?
Great video. Just had it installed per video. However, when turned on, it rotates slowly back and forth for few minutes, sometimes moves in opposite direction. I have to switch it of and back on several times before it actually starts moving in the right direction. Takes a good 5 mins to get it to start moving like it's supposed to. I have paired it appropriately but still having the same issue. Any fix for this? Is this a motor issue?
The back and forth movement should only last for a few seconds before the fan starts spinning normally. If your fan is taking much longer to start spinning normally (or never does), try leaving the fan disconnected from power for a few minutes before trying the pairing process one more time. If the issue isn’t resolved, or if the issue returns, it may be a problem with the motor controller/receiver module inside the motor that can easily be replaced. Sometimes the “twitching” issue can be resolved by disconnecting the fan from power for a few minutes and then completing the pairing process (10:34). Note that the fan will normally move back and forth for a few seconds before actually getting to the selected speed every time you start the fan. If your issue is still not resolved, it may be an issue with the motor controller/receiver module inside the motor that can easily be replaced. How many wattage is the LED? Can I get LED in 5,000K or higher? Can I hook up to use wall mount switch? Because if the remote wants to go on vacation without me.
The LED uses 14 watts and emits 3000k warm white light only. Unfortunately, you can only use an on/off wall switch with this model. The fan can only be controlled with the included hand held remote or with a Bond Wifi Smart Home Hub.
@@TALCeilingFans 3000K is tungsten light, I was hoping that they have 5000 or 6000K with 30w LED. Boy, even with 20w LED, that is still dim. Nevertheless, I can hookup to turn on/off by the wall switch without needing a remote control. Thank you for your feedbacks.
