How tall are your ceiling bro. Fan comes with 6" extension. My ceiling is 10 ft high. Just purchased 18 in extension. Hope I won't regret not just using what it came with

My ceiling is about 9'3". I used the short extension on mine, but yeah, at 10', I'd try the 18" extension as well.

Let me just start by saying thank you for this video! 🙏🏻 I followed exactly what you did and it came out 99% perfect ! But I have one problem my light is not accurate and flickers and it really don’t match up with the remote, any suggestions on how I may fix that ?

Appreciate the kudos. From your short description, it sounds like there may be a loss wire. If it only flickers when the fan is going, I would bet on that for sure. I'm not sure what you mean when you say it doesn't match up with the remote. Does the remote accurately control the light and the fan?

Hey friend, I paid someone to the fan up and have multiple ones in my home on the same frequency. I need to get the cap off so I can change the frequency on the receiver so it doesn’t feel like I have a ghost in my house. I watched the video and you skipped over the part where put the cap on that holds the receiver. I can’t get that darn thing off with out feeling like I’m gonna break it. Any tips on how I can get it off?

Hi Duane. On the canopy piece, there should be a ring at the bottom. If you put a little pressure on that ring and turn it clockwise, it should come off and expose the 2 set screws. Undo the screws and that will let the canopy come down off the ceiling exposing the wiring and the receiver. I hope that helps! Good luck!

I just wish this fan put out more airflow. Can hardly feel it in My barn

This fan is such a pain in the ass. My remote is not working and the support people say it’s because all the dip switches are in the default position. Why the hell would they do that?? Now that I’ve taken the receiver out of the slot I can’t get it back in…. Bastards!!!!

What is the name of this fan? Or where did you buy it?

Hi, there are 2 links in the video description. The first is the actual fan on amazon, the second is a cheaper option. I actually bought mine at a big blue box store.

Hi - Do all of the wires remain in the canopy or do all/some go back into the electrical box?

The wires coming from the ceiling should tuck back into the ceiling box (along with the wire connectors). As you can see in the box I have there is not a lot of room but they do fit up there.
