This totally helped me on the installation. Customer service was absolutely no help and unprofessional. This video really kicked it up a notch. Can't thank you enough for the video. Much appreciated!
I just wanted to say thank you! The video explains having multi-fan operation at 11:40 and this was invaluable to me as I had 6 fans but every remote was controlling every other fan. Switching to "1" dipswitch was the trick. Thank a million!
What’s the difference between the new and discontinued version. I’m looking to pick up a white one tomorrow what model is the older and which one is newer?
Instructions state must use an isolation switch to completely cut power when turned off. I have searched online and am still not clear if a single pole wall switch is adequate or if there is another type of wall switch to meet this requirement.
I installed this fan, and it turns on fine. However if the fan is on and I turn on the LED light with remote, the fan will just shutdown. I can turn on the light by itself if fan is off. What could be wrong?
I want to use a wall switch for the light but there is no blue wire for the light. Have a red wire coming out of the ceiling for the light to a switch on the wall. Do I just cap the red wire?
Same problem here. Online conversations seem to say to connect the red from ceiling to the black in fan and then cap off the black in the ceiling (which creates a dummy wall switch). But lights won't work properly now- I can turn them on and off one time with the remote and that's it, until I flip the wall switch and "clear" the fan. Not sure if the wiring we did is incorrect or the remote is messed up. Currently having email discussions with customer service to try to figure this out.
You may be experiencing interference from another fan or device nearby. You can try setting the fan to paired operation mode (if you have the remote with the 1/0 dipswitch) as shown here: th-cam.com/video/bdsv2W9-G5Y/w-d-xo.html If re-pairing the remote doesn't help, contact customer service for assistance: www.tal-usa.com/technical-support
I had the same problem. What I did was cut the power breaker in my electrical panel for 10 seconds. Reinstall the remote control batteries and aimed the controller at the unit and hit the pairing button for 5 seconds. The light blinked twice and everything works now. fyi

Just what I needed! Thank you.
Thanks! did everything right except I didn't know you had to pair the remote. THANKS AGAIN!

How did you get a white colored light? I got a warm led light.
Thanks for the video, made installing my 54" Kensgrove fan quick and easy!
Followed instructions and everything works but the light. I get no response from remote or anything. Fan part working well. Any suggestions?

The fan blades doesn’t work anymore. And it’s making a high pitch noise
Does the fan have to be fully assembled (I.e. blades, etc.) for the remote to pair or can you “test” the motor before fully installing?
My remote doesn’t turn on the light how can I fix that?

Fan is installed, works well with remote but...it turns off after 8-10 minutes. Any idea what that may be?

Thanks, I messed around with the remote the day after I posted the question and it’s working fine now. Thanks for the response.
My light doesn't want to dim....don't know if I'm suppose to do something special to make it dim??? It just stays on bright.
