another great episode! Also I love how you included the process of drawing the creature for the end credits, as an artist myself I really enjoyed watching the monster being brought to life before our eyes!
I heard a very similar story from a witness himself on one of these dogmen/bigfoot channels. Driving back from his logging company at night he hit a large lumbering creature that had no head. He put his foot to the gas and sped off scared. His co-worker was driving in front and had also passed it. When they stopped a few hundred yards ahead, they decided to turn around and go check it out. Where he had hit it, was now a wolf like creature lying in the middle of the road. They approached and it got up and shot off into the woods. They stopped the car where it had left and got out. Whilst they were stood trying to work out what it was, a mouse ran out from the forest and sat directly in front of them. They couldnt explain it, but, he sounded very convincing. I will try find the account...
The mouse part isn't that odd honestly, especially when you consider that some kind of large creature ran into the woods. it's just trying to get away, and the humans it ran into aren't threatening it at that moment.

The creepiest region to drive through at night was the stretch from West Virginia through Eastern Ohio. Not a lot of traffic and just a thoroughly unsettling vibe.
Subscribed about two months ago after seeing the Mothman episode. My wife and I have been watching all your videos on evenings after work and just got caught up! It seems poetic that we started in WV and got caught up in WV, where we live. Next we have war stories to watch. Only two episodes in so far. Btw, the lake near Grafton is gorgeous and few places can compete in views.
Once again, you've done it. I have never heard of this creature before. That area of the Appalachians is one of the most mysterious areas I've ever traveled through in my life and so hearing about a creature like this one doesn't surprise me. Excellent tale, told well.
This is one of my all time favorite channels. I look forward to every episode drop. Here is my opinion on this particular one. I think the people that seen this creature ,well at least a few of them were using hallucinogens of some type. It is just strange that LSD was introduced as a recreational drug at the beginning of the 1960s. Just my opinion

I loved how the behaviour matched its counterparts too. I saw the flatwoods monster once before it zoomed past my overencumbered character lol Never saw it again
@@Subject_Keter Agreed. Although with any luck it was an aspect of the game that was popular enough for them to notice and to include such things in future titles.

Wow this story is very intriguing! I sometimes hope to see a Cryptid but then i think....aaahhhh....maybe not. Creepy ass stuff!
Nah don't think I could take the grafton monster
The creation time lapse of these images are just the cherry on top of these videos! Way to go!
A boss from Elden Ring emerges having no head 😨.
YESSSSS! Just what I was waiting for!!!! 😃😃😃😃
Once again, you've done it. I have never heard of this creature before. That area of the Appalachians is one of the most mysterious areas I've ever traveled through in my life and so hearing about a creature like this one doesn't surprise me. Excellent tale, told well.
Shout out from the state of high strangeness WV.
Yeah! 241!! Classic and new! Keep the streak going.
Whoever knows fear burns at the touch of the Man-Thing.
What a great start to the week and the ending of July with BS and WS can't get no better than this ❤
You say Grafton Monster, I say leaked Tank design for L4D3.
Thank you for the great video . Please make some more soon !! 😊
nice work as always.
this channel never disappoints.
W music, W video, and W channel
This and the Van Meter Monster have to be the strangest ever posted on this channel
Never been this early before!
woo hoo!
Always Loved The Effort You Put Into Your Animation During The Story’s, Very Good Work 👍
A possibility is an aquatic creature living in underground aquifers.
This is one of my favorite videos you posted. i love the cryptid/monster videos. You guys are awesome
Thanks for the upload!!!
God damn a drop by Bedtime stories and Wartime stories on the same day, I've scratched down to the bone for some more animation. I'm gonna have to make a start on the podcasts they are now doing to fill the void between drops.
🎶 Country roads, take me home. To a place, I belong. West Virginia, mountain mamma. Country roads, take me home! 🎶
I have to say....the art work is astonishing. Kudos to the graphic designer.
I know it's paredolia, but there's a face between the trees on the opening graphic.
That is only your face in the screen buddy😊😊😊
Ive got to say, I'd never heard of this one before. Great video!
Fallout 76 might have had some problems, but an aspect I thoroughly enjoyed was the frequent nods towards it's cryptids.
A significant feature of which was the Grafton Monster.
I loved how the behaviour matched its counterparts too. I saw the flatwoods monster once before it zoomed past my overencumbered character lol
Never saw it again
I wish they did that in Fallout 3, NV and 4.
Also i like how most of them fit right in.
I like that their Wendigo isn't the usual deer-headed creature.
@@Subject_Keter Agreed. Although with any luck it was an aspect of the game that was popular enough for them to notice and to include such things in future titles.
@@HangYourLocalWEFpuppet yeah, I've only seen it once myself. I wasn't levelled enough to take it on early in the game when I saw it and, unlike the Blue Devil (where I jumped into one of the ski lift cars so it couldn't reach me and peppered it with shots for like ten minutes 😂) I couldn't cheese it, either.
Great episode. I had never heard of the Grafton Monster until watching this.
YESSS 🎉🎉🎉
Another great episode! The people involved with this channel do great work! Your efforts are appreciated. :)
Kind of looks like that big muscular monster that had his eyeball fall out in Monsters, Inc.
Thank you for the new vid, I love your vids and you giving possible explanations to what was seen. It gives a lot of food for thought and it's awesome.
Bedtime stories and Wartime stories in the same day? Early Christmas!
And Mr. Ballen. A trifecta.
Another west Virginia classic!!
Even bigfoot was like, "WTF?!"
Another excellent bedtime story, chaps! At first I thought it was going to be about Dublin's Grafton Street, given what one sees lurching along coming back from from Temple Bar on a Saturday night!
My evening all set... thanks for another video
This just sounds like the chillest creature ever.
In one of chapters of the channel “How to Hunt”, a picture was send that resemble this thing.
I love catching the notifications for Bedtime Stories
* feeling Left 4 Dead flashback*
TANK!!!
Interesting story BTW.
Good find! First time hearing about this critter.
