I’ve been waiting to hear this channel’s take on the Sandown Clown case! Unfortunately my favorite, and to me the most mysterious, part of this case isn’t mentioned here! Apparently when questioning Sam as to whether he was a monster or ghost and receiving negative answers, they asked “Well what are you then?” Sam answered simply, “You know…”
About time Bedtime Stories did this one... It is right in the wheelhouse of this (excellent) channel! This is the very definition of High Strangeness! (When the clown says 'sometimes'... Yikes.)
Even though my family and I are all French, my father had his host family on Isle of Wight and they were truly like a second family to him, treated him like the son they never had and my brother and I like the grandchildren they never had either. Super stoked to hear a creepy story from you that happens there! I'll share it with my father, he may already know about it as well.
The story has many of the same elements of old Irish folktales involving fairies. Fairies in Irish folklore are quite often malevolent beings. The stories are normally meant serve as a warning to children to be wary of strangers as often accepting hospitality from a fairy carries a heavy price. For example, children who enter a fairy's house for a meal may upon leaving find that years have passed in the human world in the short time spent in the fairy's house, or by eating fairy food they become bound to the fairies and can never leave.
It does in fact remind me of faeries for all these reasons but like you said, the fae aren't usually friendly. All Colors Sam seems to be entirely benign and the fact that both the children were not hurt, freely allowed to leave and escaped entirely unharmed is weird, very few faerie stories end like that.

Both kids followed willingly. Sounds like Sam was able to gain both children's trust .
She was ready to flee too untill he managed to convince her not too .
At that age literally no child does.
If that were me I would have done the same exact fucking thing. Hell I'd probably be even less cautious.
Other channels have done this but you added more than i heard before and of course you did it in your awesome way. Just added to my nice long Memorial day weekend. 👏 👏 👏 👏 👏 👏 Thank you.
THEY ALL FLOAT DOWN HERE!
COME AND JOIN THE CLOWN ED'S
"Hiya, buh-buh-Billy boy!"
GENEVA CONVENTION?! MORE LIKE GENEVA SUGGESTION!
Oh man I’ve been waiting for you to do this one! It creeps me out
Great job - one of my favourite weird stories!
Yeah, it's truly the epitome of high strangeness!
It made me very glad to hear that Sam meant no harm, and that both the children and Fey's father do indeed believe him.~ I believe he is friendly, if trying to blend in, and that he did appear forthe children and "construct" his home just for them. All in all, it sounds like a pleasant, if unusual, encounter!
He is quirky and funny looking! Very strange encounter! It was amusing the description of his appearance and how “spazzy “ he moved. 😆. Wonder what he was. It was cute how he gave them berries and water. :)
In all honesty I bet it was just a mentally ill homeless hermit who might have been on drugs.
Your videos are some of the best story telling videos on TH-cam next too wartime stories etc, keep up the excellent work!
The story is one of the chilling and weird of all.
Thank you team !! 🙏🏻
This is my favorite channel now, I just wish stories were longer and more of them lol but really like every other day
Dude... That alien at the end, you are so EVIL for that... I was looking away from my screen, turned back to it and that THING was staring at me...
I did the opposite I stared at it and didnt blink. Fear turns to courage
*Us, I was right behind you 😜
Man, the ending was REALLY creepy! And it's daytime here! Also, love the reaction of your fluffy GSD. He likes to go out, does he?
I heard about this years ago on Dead Rabbit Radio. This is one of the strangest stories ever.
What's a better pun: "System of a Sandown" or "System of a Clown?"
is that the one from poundtown?
Syndrome Of A Down
Sandown with the Clown
None
All color Sam and the Sandown Clowns.
Thank you for covering this case! I found it on a wiki for other strange beings a while back and could not stop thinking about it.
Why hasn’t this been told in short story on tv yet? There’s countless shows like the twilight zone or tales from the crypt or masters of horror who could have told it. It’s definitely one of the creepiest stories I’ve heard.
Even incorporating it as a scene in a movie would be fucking creepy.
Dude if the people that made the Masters of Horror episodes "Jennifer" and "The Fair-haired child" made a version of this story it would be insane.
Because it's bat sh*t crazy
Are the stories on this channel all real, or are they just fiktion? 🙂
@@loveistheanswer5924 They're about strange occurrences. Some are true stories that really happened and some are like, mysteries. Don't know what really happened.
Loving Klowns from outer space! ❤
"I'ma knock yo block off!"
Killer clowns from outer space is an old favorite brings back lots of memories!
Can't wait to get my hands on the game!
Ah yes the Sandown Clown I first learned about this story from Shrouded Hand's video about it and the story genuinely surprised me for you see I spent my family around almost 15 years travelling to the Isle of Wight including Sandown every summer for work purposes and in all that time I never knew about this story I wished I had back then though then I would've tried to visit the area where the story occurred
Interesting... missed this on Shrouded Hand, but will check out their take on it. This has been stuck in my head since I listened to it here.
Oh man, SH's interpretation of the Clown's siren is still stuck in my head til this day 😬🫣
Clown shows up in 73
Members of ICP were born in 72 and 74.
Coincidence?
ICP?
@@seandrew7837Insane Clown Posse
He gave the little kids Faygo to drink
Someone needs to ask their moms if they ever got boned by an alien clown.
"I am All Colors Shaggy, woop woop ninjas!"
I would love a museum with 1:1 reproductions of these beings in full detail so we can see theme in person and visually grasp what the people have seen in those moments.
I love this story. It's just so creepy.
My grandparents on my dad's side live on the Isle of Wight, been there many times myself! I don't think I'll see it the same again!
always a treat when my favorite spooky channel posts something new
This story didn’t just freak me out, it blew my mind.
Great story great artwork!
Thank you for the upload Mr. Bedtime Stories❤️
AMAZING! THANK YOU GUYS FOR ANOTHER EPISODE!
🔥 Oh hell yeah! My favorite channel covering one of my favorite stories. 🔥
I’ve been waiting to hear this channel’s take on the Sandown Clown case! Unfortunately my favorite, and to me the most mysterious, part of this case isn’t mentioned here!
Apparently when questioning Sam as to whether he was a monster or ghost and receiving negative answers, they asked “Well what are you then?”
Sam answered simply,
“You know…”
that was his answer?
@@latviandragon2718 Yep, that was his whole answer
I really enjoy the artwork and vocals! I’m glad I found you per Mr. Ballen’s channel!!
Glad you put out another video! I'm saving this for tonight :)
Your storytelling gives me goosebumps every time. This one really made me question what might be lurking in the shadows!
Such a good episode!! You never miss!
About time Bedtime Stories did this one... It is right in the wheelhouse of this (excellent) channel! This is the very definition of High Strangeness!
(When the clown says 'sometimes'... Yikes.)
First, Flatwoods Monster. Now, Sandown Clown. What's up with BTS releasing my two favourite aliens consecutively? Did the stars align? 😲
I said the same thing!! My two favs too also I’m fond of the Hopkinsville goblins
One of the best, strangest story by the best in the business. Tape Library did an incredible job with this one too.
Awesome episode! I can't believe I've never heard of this story before!
The little girl’s name being “Fey” made her well suited to be an eyewitness.
It does in fact remind me of faeries for all these reasons but like you said, the fae aren't usually friendly. All Colors Sam seems to be entirely benign and the fact that both the children were not hurt, freely allowed to leave and escaped entirely unharmed is weird, very few faerie stories end like that.
BedtimeStories now covers the phantom clowns! The absolute nightmare fuel even surpassing the aliens
they probably created them as remote-controlled toys.
@@UToobUsername01 so simply drones but android esque
This clown is about as kind, and benign as you can muster. Sam didnt hurt anyone.
@@thedoruk6324 yes the greys look like scouts used to map territory. They are bio-hacked creatures that cannot think for themselves. (think of the borg from star trek)
Didn’t Loren Coleman who reported these mysterious phantom clowns on his book mysterious America
I may have heard about this briefly on Coast to Coast, but this is the first channel that has really brought this story to light, that I have heard anyway. I gotta say I was really absorbed in this one. Kudos guys.
Nice! I always wanted your take on this, it’s on of my favourite stories.
It’s always good to watch a new video from Bedtime Stories. Keep up the great work and take care!
Sandown ghost clown is one of my favorite unexplained stories. It’s so intriguing to me. I’ve watched so many other videos on it. Just so strange.
The last bit after the credits was the scariest thing I've ever seen in my life. So much evil in such a fluffy animal lol
I was beyond pumped to be notified you’d tackled this one!
One of the creepiest stories ever, perhaps it deserves a part two?
Man, I love the way you tell stories. I swear you could talk to me in full, complete detail about my brother's bowel movements and I'd be absolutely captivated
YEAAAAH, Sam's my favorite cryptid!! thank you so much for making a video about him!!
Was just thinking when we would see another upload! ✅🤗 love the channel
You provided much more detail than I'd heard from other versions of the story. Thanks!
My all time favourite story. Nice one guys.
Thank you Bedtime Stories, Brilliant as always. I hope you will do the story of LOFTUS HALL, in Co Wexford Ireland. It’s believed the Devil himself called on a stormy night. And he was playing poker with the owners of the house, but when a girl had to pick something up from the floor she noticed he had hooves instead of feet , he saw she noticed and shot up through the roof . There’ is also loads more stories from LOFTUS hall but that is the best one. Thank again.
The first tike I heard this story was in the Paranormal Scholar Channel. A good and mysterious case, good work guys, listening to you is the perfect way to spend my Sunday at the office.
Shrouded Hand’s video on the Sandown Clown is a bit of a tough one to beat, but you’ve got it matched.
The reveal of the alien is scary.
Was the head twitch supposed to be that berry trick he was doing? I guess the head shape explains the need for the cone. lol
Well that was just downright bizarre. One of the creepiest stories I've ever heard.🥶
Probably my favorite cryptid
the most Stranger-aligned creature I’ve ever seen, incredible art design
