Do a level cap challenge for Pokémon Yellow. The cap starts at 5, and beating a gym leader raises the cap by 5 levels. Arriving at the elite four will raise the cap by 5 more levels, maxing at lv 50. It should be a fun challenge because it won’t be grind heavy and you’ll likely have to rely on team composition instead of over leveling or brute force. How about a challenge: I beat Pokemon Fire red using Pokemon only at the level i caught them, As soon as a pokemon gains a level you have to release them.
I was interested to see if this was even possible, specifically the elite four fight. I assume during this fight, every pokemon that levels up can no longer be used. The highest level pokemon available to you are from the islands as well as victory road, and they usually are in the 35-48 level range. For Rapidash, Onix, Arbok, Primeape, and Marowak, they have a medium fast level curve. Onix appears at the highest level of these, 48, and thus would take 7,057 experience points to level up. Machoke is part of the medium slow level group. They also appear at level 48 and would take 7,114 experience points to level up. Tentacruel is part of the slow experience group, and I believe the highest level you can encounter it at is level 40, which means it would take 6,151 experience points to level up. You gain 10,126 experience from Lorelei, 7,915 from Bruno, 9,734 from Agatha, and 11,214 from Lance. This is enough experience to level up 5.48 Machoke. You could divide this out so each Machoke was one KO before a level up, but if we factor in 5 of your rival's pokemon that's another 12,000 to 13,000 exp, which is enough to level up over 7 Machoke at level 48. I do not think it would be likely you could even manage the experience to get through the whole battle, and even if you could, the pokemon available would stand little chance of victory. Edit: There is a chance some of my math is wrong since I used the equations without double checking the game.
I’m surprised you didn’t make use of Fury Cutter as it allows you to build up power early in the battle as you get some luck with double confusion. You get to 320 base power STAB after just a handful of connected hits

I'd love that!
Ayyyyyyyy
"We got this far by only being level 69. *Nice*"
In 20 hours it's time for a hardcore Challenge and I just presed the like botton
found out this channel from the pokemon yellow pikachu challenge and this is keeping me busy from quarantine, keep up the great videos
Scretch* and Packed*
Looks like he messed up the E A Sports,It’s in the game.
How about a challenge:
I beat Pokemon Fire red using Pokemon only at the level i caught them, As soon as a pokemon gains a level you have to release them.
Holy shit why do you want him to suffer lmao
I like this a lot, actually
@@uvicstudent1 haha nerd

Well, RIP the run there then.
But that's assuming that you make it to victory road in the first place
I’m surprised you didn’t make use of Fury Cutter as it allows you to build up power early in the battle as you get some luck with double confusion. You get to 320 base power STAB after just a handful of connected hits
That grinding in the beginning, nothing but respect for you my man!
Edit: Level 69, nice.
Im so happy you learned EV, videos are getting better
Mah-Dry-Bread, doing a 1 Shedinja challenge in FRLG is possible, but the champion rematch fight is impossible.
Who would win..?
A high standard , hard fighting game with bosses getting stronger and stronger.
OR
One Shedinja boi
I just want my good genderless shedinja to have time in the spotlight
Adam Ratt valid
very valid
MDB: about the fire gym "That's 40 minutes of my life I'm never getting back"
Also MDB: Spends life making pokemon videos for youtube.
I love that you have the I’m going to try against the impossible Steven battle anyway attitude. Very inspiring
I mean, yeah. Level 100 shedinja faster than everything. And sturdy didn't have any practical use until generation 5, so...
This one's interesting, beat emerald game with only Same type moves.
Did you know in bulbapiedia it says that the black spot in shedninja's back, took childrens souls?
yo daz crazy
"I'm so mad at Whatageek that you should all go tell him how mad you are, on his channel, on our video, boosting him in the algorithm" God, idk why but that's so wholesome, just bros being bros
You deserve a medal just for the grind... Cheers!
MahDryBread: "At least over lvl 100"
Me: *Visible Confusion*
I remember leveling my chimchar to lvl 36 in route 201 in pokemon pearl, just because i wanted to win only with him.
Spoiler: i won
.How About Pokémon Fire red with One Smeargle?
I like that

Bruh
Do you know how Premiers work?
Considering that you can most certainly manage to get a mixture of Leech Seed/Seismic Toss/Night Shade/Recover moves, it shouldn't be all that hard
Should’ve started the grind over by swap training the shiny nincada to get a shiny shedinja and use that one :)
First time ive seen you fail one of these. Bah gawd almighty, that man has a family!
Ahhh yes, my favourite moves,
*SKRETCH AND PACK*
How's your day going ?
(I remember asking is good for youtube algorithm ) :3
Hey MDB, I'm so glad to see you at over 200k subs. I've been subbed since your og Dragon Ball Z Super Saiya Densetsu lp. I think you only had around 400-500 subs at that time. I love that your channel has grown so much. I've thoroughly enjoyed your content for around 7 years and I'm really happy that you're on the road to success. By the way, are you still in contact with Juhwann and some of the other crew from TheWalkThroughCorner?
These kind of vids from you never fail to amuse me , MDB :)
Great video, Mah-Dry-Bread! I really enjoyed it!
Do you think you could do:
Can i beat pokemon gold/silver/crystal with just a single hoppip
I think it would be very intrusting
i don't know that I'd want to intrust him with that kind of responsibility to be brutally honest.
Ahoj taky česko?
Jj
FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF PREMIERS! You're fine Bread I like you. BUT NOT PERMIERS
How did you manage to spell premieres wrong two different ways?
Moonlight_Howl He’s a genius on a level we simply cannot comprehend.
@@GobaGNon lmao
Do Gold/Silver with a Hoppip
The fact you didn't immediately replace shedinja by grinding shiny nincada into shiny shedinja saddens me immensely
He needs it for Swords Dance to beat Steven; swagger, 2 SDs, shadow ball sweep. Quick claw or spell tag to compensate a nature
You got this man! You'll win!
