Nice! If its booked out you might have to look further out like just outside the park. We were lucky that we met up with some friends that had a car so we were able to get to the lookout spots with smaller roads where the rv couldnt fit - so thats another thing to keep in mind!

I had an agreement with the RV company so unsure how much it regularly costs to hire an RV like that. Apart from that, fuel was around $500, camping fees around $150 (found 'free' spots alot of the time), food/drinks maybe like $300. All shared between the 4 of us
it was a 33ft RV! Definitely a good size for 4. There was 4 of us and still plenty of room - we even met up with friends and at one point there was 7 of us in there without an issue. biig rv

Would it be a waste to just drive past Mt Rainier on the way from Seattle to Portland if I don't have the time to stick for a whole day?
If it dosnt take too much extra time out of your journey id definitely recommend just catching a nice view of it at least :)
