It's OK if you're not concerned about competitively play, but 1080p on 32" in a little blurry, and 32" at any res is just bigger than comfortable. You also can't run 480hz with aspect control on, so you're stuck 32". On the PG27AQDP, you can run 24.5" simulated at 480hz or 240hz BFI, which is much more competitive. However, OLED's ability to have infinite Contrast, and Have near perfect Motion clarity (Not as good as ULMB Sure, but still leaps and Bounds beyond really any LCD without DYAC or ULMB), is exciting to me, since it means monitors can look amazing for esports even in weird resolutions or aspect ratios, because it doesnt need an Expensive Chip for Such Tech to have that excellent clarity, and as a result any OLED will at least be really good for Esports(Whether it be niche, cheap, or weird) whereas LCDs, MicroLEDs etc will need specific Tricks to keep up that wont be present on every single monitor with such panels due to cost.
Honestly, I said since I heard of the 540hz TN "it's pure shit". It's overpriced, washed out TN bull crap. I'd have rather had the 240hz OLED than the TN BS and the price. The price was ridiculous for the bad colors, bad brightness, bad response time (I don't mean imput lag, I mean the monitor response times), ghosting. Now there's the 1440p 480hz and the dual mode 4k/1080p 240hz/480hz displays that simply smoke this pile of crap TN, that is outdated as a technology and there's no upgrading it. TN is bad, always was, it was only good because it was cheap and more compact (compared to the old CRT monitors it replaced). Nobody liked it in particular, it was a necessary tradeoff. The 540hz TN shouldn't have costed a cent over 500 bucks, and even that is far too much
I think the price isnt a matter of being a rip off on purpose, its a matter of serving a real small niche with small demand. As a result the panel is only being manufactured at small amounts, meaning the cost will be significantly higher. Sucks that its so expensive though, for sure
@@ZXTech It definitely feels on purpose, it's absurdly pricy when you look at what other monitors can offer in that price range. I know it's a niche product and also it's intended for a small audience (thus low volume) but even then it still can't justify the drawbacks.
@deathcall6663 i mean, of course its on purpose, asus set it on the end of the day. But the product literally will not exist and will not be sold if asus couldnt sell it at this price, because its such a tiny market it will be utterly pointless to even develop and put into production, and so Asus HAS to set the price as such to make the product viable, as its a business that needs to justify its actions to its profit making incentive. Is it not worth it? For most definitely for sure. But is this priced in a way that kinda makes sense, i feel like it is still.

MLA OLEDs, better material engineering etc are all OTW, so I wont write it off so early. As for MicroLED, I love how they are both Bright, have better contrast, have no burn in and Can possibly be integrated with ULMB/DYAC in the future, which might be what Zowie will do next.
@@he1go2lik3it oled DOES def have better colours XD

But is this priced in a way that kinda makes sense, i feel like it is still.
holy guys all whats matter in cs is latency ...everything else ull get used to it
Not fully correct, Latency is essential, sure, but if you cant see the enemy as clearly it wont be as ideal
@0:44 discord chat exit jump scare o_o
Congrats u spotted it :P
its too big for pro gaming FPS, RTS and MOBA
U can run it in 25” crop - and im ngl, alot of moba lan tourneys have moved to 27” if im not wrong LCS does use 27 for example
@@ZXTech 25' crop makes it run slower and messed up they say
@@ImakeTankswho said that ?
I have no idea
okok, now in which games will you achieve 480 fps in 1440p, this is a good question. With the current line of graphics cards, 240hz at 1440p is more than enough
Valorant, CS2(hopefully w 9000X3D), OW. These are all esports titles people love having hella smooth gameplay on
@@ZXTech whos playing competitive games like CS in 1440p? Most people still using 4:3 res, dont waste your money just get 1080p 360 hz instead od this crap
@FlyOnix_95 thats the point i was trying to make in the video- 1440P is possibly beneficial if you are open to it! Its hardly crap, its just the cutting edge and theres always gonna be diminishing returns the higher you go:)
Its fun to look at the best and enjoy the latest and greatest, but as I said in my video too, its not for everyone

Real pro players use small 24 inch monitors because it's the best fit for LAN events. Zowies ARE the best 24 inch monitors. It's that's simple. As a result, eSports fanboys will always want to use what their favorite players use and become bias and want to say their monitor is #1.
Na man cs is dead and zovie monitors are not so much needed
@@itnews1202 24 inch mainly still used at LANs. Wake me up when half million dollar LAN events are using OLEDs
I just wish they’d give us 24 inch 1440p OLEDs then tbh, nothing wrong with a 24 inch monitor but why can’t we at least get a good resolution and the best panel type?
Market is too small for 24 Inch panels to justify LG/Samsung Manufacturing that SKU I think, as Much as I wish it exists

At the end your opinion is worthless, no any professional would go above 24.5 inch, and 1080 p because of smother experience and more fps, so until you are e sports professional your opinion doesn’t matter
Bro even shroud says 27" is better. And besides, is my advice meant for a pro? No. Its meant for the average consumer, and I promise the average user is gonna play better on this than a 24.5. oh and btw, just cos they are a pro doesnt mean they know anything, they're often just using what's comfortable for them, not whats optimal...
