  • I Spent over 1000 hours with the 4K 240Hz, 1080p 480Hz LG 32GS95UE OLED Gaming monitor and heres how it went - Thanks to LG for sending out the LG 32GS95UE monitor for this video
    If you are interest in learning more about the LG 32GS95UE find it here: bit.ly/4cHSfrj
    The LG Ultra gear 32GS95UE Monitor was sent out for this video but no money was paid or any video direction given - this is my experience with the display and how i have been using it. If you are looking for a monitor in this league make sure to check out all options like W-OLED, QD-OLED, Mini LED, different coatings.. Each of these panel types have advantages and downsides so research as much as possible - This monitor has been fantastic for me and might also be for you!
    The LG 32gs95ue features some amazing specs and features such as DUAL MODE offering 4K 240hz and 1080p 480hz modes, ultra fast response times 0.03ms gtg, Pixel sound and more!

      After 144hz nothing matters mate, it´s all about quality of life. 240hz/360hz/480hz will all be smoother for your eyes but that´s it, it won´t make you play any better, while 60hz objectively handicaps your skill because 16,6ms is too much

      @@GeorgeCardoso-mh2ei"smoother for your eyes" translates to "easier to see and track". That objectively makes you able to play better on average over a long game session. Why don't you use a PC with 7800x3D which can easily average 480+ FPS at almost all times in Valorant/OW/Siege? That way you can truly gauge the monitor's potential. Since the monitor has a 1080p @ 480Hz mode clearly for "competitive gaming" purposes, you should've compared it with other competitive monitors like BenQ Zowie XL2566K using ghosting or motion blur tests.
    Also what about text clarity vs equivalent 4k LCD based panels? Could've covered that side by side in depth.

    I have a question if someone can help me out a bit. Looking for a new oled monitor. Is the new Samsung odyssey g60 oled worth it. Or should I wait for the new asus 480hz that normaly should come out soon? Playing shooters, solo games and here and there some youtube videos. Let me know what I should do

    What speed are the USB ports? Does this monitor use a power brick/AC adaptor? Which side of the monitor does it plug into? Which side are the usb ports and DP/HDMI ports located?

      Display 1.4 with Dsc Hdmi 2.1 yes it has power brick. All the plugs are in bottom of monitor which kind of is a pain. This monitor is beautiful though. I have Asus pg32ucdm and Lg32gs95ue past week and so far Lg32gs95ue winning on image quality. I'm assuming because of the new Mla+ tech seeing that everyone and their mother seems to think Qd oled is better with colors. Not in this case. After further review I'm not sure. I think the Asus is slightly more vibrant after you enable the peak brightness mode. It says in messes with the PQ curve but it definitely makes it alot better. That being said the colors do seem the same, just the Asus highlights pop a tiny bit more.

    Would you say it crushes blacks or exhibits banding?

    • @MyouKyuubi
      @MyouKyuubi หลายเดือนก่อน

      If the monitor is improperly tuned, then yes, all improperly tuned oleds crush blacks and exhibits banding, like crazy.
      But, with a bit of research and effort, and some fiddling with the monitor settings, you can fix that. I'd recommend looking up your monitor on a website called "RTINGS", it's got "ratings" from all manner of products, though mainly TV's and Monitors, and usually, they have a properly tuned ICC profile (colour profile) for that monitor in question you can just download and use. :)
      I'm using an MSI MPG 271QRX, it had some issues with banding, but after i noticed rtings have downloadable ICC profiles, that problem was solved, lickety split! :)

      @VexxedSR หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      There's drawbacks to either tech. If you don't mind waiting a few years then microLED looks very promising paired with an IPS panel. If you're going for miniLED then make sure it's IPS and not VA otherwise if it is VA you'll have a lot of problems with making out details in darker scenes and black smearing.

    This video feels a lot like its only made to please LG and to make them let you keep the monitor, I just purchased this monitor and yes I do have the exact same interest as you do, am interested in high FPS competitive gaming at 480hz and great visuals for non competitive gaming at 4k 240hz, but am seriously disappointed by the color accuracy out of the box and its VERY Weak brightness in SDR. I am gaming for the first time in HDR in competitive games just because in HDR I can get a little bit more brightness out of this monitor, If I knew before buying this monitor that the colors are not great and the brightness is this weak I would have not purchased it.
