pro tip: to not choke, stop slurping air before the liquid touches ur lips. ure in a losing battle with ur anatomy. the body is programmed to differentiate between inhaling and ingesting. one opens when the other closes, and vice versa. so, when u slurp air before ure in contact with the liquid, u force the body to drastically change in a fraction of a second. and im not saying it doesnt work, cause we've all done that trying to sip something hot. the trick is in not slurping the air too hard that the liquid finds a window and goes down the wrong pipe. (just looking out for u bud, we're already flawed af, no need to add to it. lol) ps: yes, electromechanical engineer AND anatomy.

Another great video lads! The fact that you noticed the missing person picture on the milk carton and knew that it was the guy in the basement is why I love this channel! Most people don't even pick up on that after multiple watches. The white VW in the swamp belonged to him as well. Howard knew that Pearl was a s*x fiend, he's the one that would have strung up the guy in the basement. Since he couldn't have s*x due to his bad heart, they made an arrangement so that she could still get her rocks off. It's crazy to think about how Pearl must have convinced Howard to go along with her murderous, kidnapping, r*ping ways over the years, as he seemed like a good guy when he was young.

Ti West filmed X and Pearl back to back secretly before it being green lit by a24 and luckily with its success has been able to carry out his trilogy (a24’s first ever trilogy btw)…super excited for Maxxxine! loved both of your reactions despite a majority having to be censored haha….we need the patreon solely to hear dan’s joke

"The Goose Slayer." This is the commentary I love. I've seen several reactions to this movie (I'm a horror movie lightweight, so this is as close as I can get) and this is by far, my favorite. I didn't realize that Maxine was the tv preacher's daughter but it makes sense. And there is a kind of symmetry between Pearl's conservative mother trying to hold her back and Maxine's father's condemnation of her choices. Can't wait to see the reaction to Maxxxine when it comes out. Also looking forward to your reaction to Midsommar. There's a lot going on in that one.

It's interesting watching a reaction by people who have seen the pearl prequel first, makes Pearl and her intentions less of a stranger coming into this movie. I don't feel bad for the boyfriend when his girlfriend volunteered for the "film". Yes she should have discussed it with her partner and personal boundaries are a thing but it felt like it showed his hypocrisy like "I can do this thing without your permission but you can't do this thing without mine". I can almost guarantee you if they recommend he participate in the film for a scene he would have convinced her why it was ok and made sense.
I realize now, you watched Pearl first, it would make sense for you to be confused. I like this one better. I was 18 in '79, the feeling of the show is accurate.

Lol why do British people always call alligators a crocodile. Two very different species normally alligators leave humans alone for the most part. As a Florida native I swim with them being in the same body of water lots of times didn't bother me.
Why do people confuse two similar species that they don't have where they live? I think a better question would be why do you expect people to be experts on topics that aren't familiar to them? It's like expecting men to be experts on the menstrual cycle of uterine line shedding.

Great reaction to 'X'! Another recently released A24 film is 'Love Lies Bleeding', starring Ed Harris and Kristen Stewart. If you haven't seen the trailer for it, i recommend it! Perhaps you'll eventually react to it on the channel, I really enjoyed this movie. There are several serious WTF moments in it, but it is an A24 film after all.

a LOT of the films I went to see at the drive in where that bad, I mean soft porns, in the late 70s. The film felt very real to me.
