Landing can be hard. Whether you get punished by a simple shield grab or an Inkling roller, it's never fun to not be able to reach the stage again. There are, however, a few tips and tricks that can get you landing better in no time.

QNA: How did you get into smash?
This is a great vid. As a Mewtwo main I have a really hard time landing, being big and floaty. I often get juggled at high percents so this help give me ideas to work around it some!

your problem is going for the kill? cuz i was gonna say each character has unique moves that are good for killing on top of their smash attacks (Samus back air, Snake up tilt, etc.)
you wanna try to make a read and punish them. or trick them into doing an option that will leave them open to your kill move.

This video definitely helped me with getting back onto the platform more effectively without taking damage. I think as a Sonic main, I’m better off using neutral air to fast fall whilst doing some damage before reaching the ground. If the opponent is shielding, either grab or retreat but if not, go for a forward or back-tilt and see what happens.

Timely! Consistent feedback for me has been that I try to land offensively, rather than safely - "it's not your turn to attack" 🤔
