I have nothing to write this time except to write I have nothing to write this time and to write that I actually have something to write, which is to write that I wrote I have nothing to write this time and also the above one, this, and the sentence below k, have a nice weekend!
ya know what should've happened, if Frog turned the other cheek. and you get magus, Magus should've turned frog back Human right away. imagine the triple techs between Crono Glenn and Magus, or the Double Techs with Glenn and Magus
He says that the only way to break the curse on Frog is for him to die. So why Frog didn't immediately turn into Glenn if you kill Magus at the North Cape is a fucking mystery; he only turns back after you defeat Lavos in that ending.
I had to savescum right after finishing him off in the second fight. It took hearing the sad music right after killing him to understand I'd made a mistake.
Magus: Idiots... Nothing can live forever. Zeal... A pitiful woman, duped by Lavos! [Magus casts back his cape] Magus: I, myself, will bring an end to all of this!
When you hear the blowing of the wind you know shit just got real, I remember 1st time I fought Magus was my 1st playthrough and was a desperate fight for survival. Very few items and greatly under leveled. But it was thrilling. Facing a powerful enemy and barely surviving thats where it is at!
It's so amazing, and truly ahead of it's time. To put it into perspective, final fantasy didn't have exploration and combat flow this well until it's 12th installment in 2006. It is the best rpg game of super Nintendo imo.
I never played this game on the snes. Can't imagine how insecure I'd feel when making decisions without "save state" 😅 or how curiosity would kill me about what would have happened if I had made a different choice. This video reminds me I'd always choose not to fight Magus and earn an ally.
While I played on PC with save states, I was too young and the concept of using guides was foreign to me. I can't believe I got to save Chrono and recruit Magus as well. As for my chosen ending, I decided to go after Lavos through the Black Omen. I still have no idea what the best course of action was the ideal one, I'm just happy with those memories.
I played this on the SNES...and yeah got my hindquarters handed to me the first few times---you do learn to hit up the save points when ever you can...and not the same ones each time...
Hard to believe this is 5 years old now. Y'know, if they ever do a remaster of CT I hope that the battle against Magus sounds at least SOMETHING like this because it's fucking fantastic.
Yo. I LITERALLY just finished playing this game for the first time and I have to say. I want more covers of CT songs. Cause the originals were dope as all heck and this rendition just proves my point even further!
When I first fought him I was massively overleveled and I not once used the sword on him, I straight up beat him without it. It was only until I fought Lavos that I figured out that the sword did something on him.
Yeah, I had a habit of just grinding levels in JRPGs when I was little, lol. Can't do that shit now; I get bored too quickly AND also know that the repercussions are that nothing is a challenge later on, lol.
@@karsonkammerzell6955 I actually am still that patient, to me its feels so rewarding to be high leveled and just sweep most of the game or hit the cap and get topped off with full stats or items, obviously I'm a bit of a maximizer/completionest but I do sometimes play how it was intended with lower levels and challenge myself but by then I've seen most of the guides on YT with most methods or the speedrun guides.
Logan Pixler I know that but once again I'm just talking about the music and only the music (the beginning is totally evil-toned), the same could apply to Sephiroth's One-Winged Angel (except he's become pure evil).
The Music represents the image magus has been trying to portray. the part he himself wanted to play. he was anti social, and would rather the world hate him, so he would be left alone. he wanted to play the part of villain till his last breath, while fooling the world entirely. Hes that kind of guy.
The embodiment of the best of intentions, but catastrophic methods. Magus was driven to despair when he watched his homeland get destroyed by Lavos, and the thought of finally slaughtering that space tick was the only thing that was keeping him alive.
FalKKonE, 0:17, the moment the flute comes in, magus's image also comes in as if he's holding and playing a flute. Did you purposefully do this? If not, nice coincidence. Also, please do other chrono trigger soundtracks, they are gems. 💙
I have listened to both the ff6 and ff7 songs done in the style of doom eternal.. Chrono trigger needs one as well! The black wind will howl otherwise and come for you! XD

k, have a nice weekend!
FalKKonE that's why i love you
Now do the other battle themes please.
Monster hunter world: theme of xeno'jiiva, please
FalKKonE deep thinking my friend.
Thanks for finally covering this song! Ive been requesting it for a long while now 100% WORTH THE WAIT
That's just excessive. Waaaaay too much jibber-jabber for nothing. LOL
"If history is to change, let it change. If the world is to be destroyed, so be it. And if my fate is to die....I MUST SIMPLY LAUGH!"
His last line is actually "If my fate is to be destroyed.. I must simply laugh"
But "die" may sound better 😄
this line hits hard
"How many filthy Namekians does it take to-"*BOOM!*
Just one 😎 I'm here from DBZA too lol
@@Harry64278 It's from a fan dub called Dragon Ball Z Abridged. If you like Dragon ball go watch it.

i think the whole thing is, by that point, frog didn't WANT to be human anymore, either
Medb ... you know there are endings where he is human right? like even the Anime Ending has him with green spiky hair... 😆
@@Peanut_Buster90 it...has been more than a while since I've played

kite inthesky frog in human form if you look at the sprite with the long green hair, he's like Sam Winchester with green hair 👍
The moment I knew Magus was 'that' kid I couldn't bring myself to kill him anymore.
Chrono Trigger is still my favorite game to this date.
Chrono Trigger is the ultimate timeless classic. It is perfection.
I had to savescum right after finishing him off in the second fight. It took hearing the sad music right after killing him to understand I'd made a mistake.
The black wind howls...
Okay, give me your best shot... If you're ready for the void!
Ah, memories! :3

He made me kiss the dirt more than once.
To win I had to heal every other turn. Tough fight!
One of the greatest bosses in gaming
Best edge villain of all time. Your argument is invalid.
Alcaniruvi, the Magus ehhhh i wouldnt say he's a villain. He's more of an anti-hero.
Hayden Bennett More of an anti-villain, actually.
agreed
Anti-villain which is a villain, at least partially, or left being one!...
I actually like Mewtwo better.
One of my fav rpgs getting the falconne treatment!?!?!? WHAT A BLESSED DAY!!!!
Do Corridors of Time next!!
Chrono Trigger is definitely my favorite game of all, I would love to see more of its OST covered here!
Love your work!
Same man, Chrono Trigger for life
Mr. Naruto World Revolution!
How do you even make corridors of time intense
Isn't that Enhasa/whatever that other city's theme
It's so amazing, and truly ahead of it's time. To put it into perspective, final fantasy didn't have exploration and combat flow this well until it's 12th installment in 2006. It is the best rpg game of super Nintendo imo.
NO WAY DUDE! THIS IS MY FAVORITE CHRONO TRIGGER OST! OH MY GOSH! THANK YOU MAN THANK YOU!
Freeza: How many Namekians does it take to-
Piccolo: Just one.
The dark wind howled, and man did it ravish my ears.
Awesome job as always FalKKone, keep up the effort !

Chrono Trigger is pretty forgiving. Save often, use healing items (especially Shelters) when you need them, and you should be fine.
I played this on the SNES...and yeah got my hindquarters handed to me the first few times---you do learn to hit up the save points when ever you can...and not the same ones each time...
love this remix, but just one problem:
you didn't keep in the maniacal laughter around the one-minute mark :/
I was just going through Chrono Trigger covers today, wondering if FalKKonE would ever get around to it! You have strange powers.
I give this...
>water
>cigarette
>car exhaust
>lightbulb
>fireplace
>Volvidon Volcano
>Lavasioth Lazer-blaze
>Teostra Nova
>Fatalis Flare
>Dreadking Dominator
a _Volvidon Volcano
Ah the Masamune I bet you’re just dying to use it
Literally just beat lavos using only magus, at the time of writing
You madman
Thank you
HOW!?!?!
@@XanderLeonard a fuck ton of persistence, and elixrs
You mad person.
This is one of my favorite songs from my favorite game! I expected nothing less from you. Excellent job
YEEEES !!!!!! I've been waited for this, for what seems like AN ETERNITY !!!!
You could say this was.............. a notable epoch in our lives
As a random person on the internet who's never heard of you before today I seriously wish I'd heard of you before today.
Bro this fucking STOMPS 🤘
we need Frog theme! right NOW!... please :V
Yes. Yes. Yes.
^Repeat 1000 more times.
Actually seems the closest to the original's desperate, clashing notes, even if it's far more modern in its own instrumentals.
I'm not ashamed to admit this, this made me tear up I was so overjoyed! Fantastic work!
Me: *Sees this*
Me: *Screams*
Me: *Sees any Chrono Trigger theme in general*

You deserve much more attention my dude, these are always so good
This appeared in TH-cam and was so unexpected... You're the man...
this song played such a huge role in my music taste, good job my dude.
Very Great!

95% sure that's a port-only thing. Am I wrong? I don't think the original SNES did this
This track smells pure evil and you totally honored it!

has anyone combine this with the MOTI variant
Every Chrono Trigger theme is a good theme
Entire OST next pls
me and the boys performing a miniscule amount of tomfoolery of the phrygian variety:
"Magus used Dark Matter"
Three words:
FUCKING EPIC THEME.
Nice! I've been waiting for a cover like this.
I hope they get you to write music for Man On The Internet's Musical.
You speak of Chrono Trigger the Musical?
NetMoverSitan it’s pretty decent for sure
NetMoverSitan ye, I misspelled
Oh man, one of my fav video game tunes of all time! Magus is such a badass
Thanks Russ
The black wind shreds, one of you is about to rock!
The best song from my favorite video game of all time got intensified by the great FalKKonE! :D
So intense I wet myself a bit. This shit goes hard.
I'd love the hell out of a cover of ANY of the Lavos themes. But this will definitely hold me over until then. Keep up the good work, man.
Sigh, think we'll ever get a Chrono Trigger reboot? I dare to dream~
Finally the love this song deserves, thanks!
This may be my favorite cover of yours,i love Magus battle theme, thx you FalKKonE :)
OMG, this is so awesome!!
Believe it or not, I don't listened to that song since a while until yesterday (an organ interpretation precisely).
And today, here you are!
Same as your friend (Name of the player) same as Insect!
You really want to fight with me?
Cron ⏳ Janus Pater Initiate... 🕛
Ah yes, the first Final Boss of Chrono Trigger.
Illustration on video is great and the music is the finest :)
The single greatest song in gaming history made even better :D
XiaDun The first song I ever learned on guitar!
This earned you my sub and I already loved your work before
Just went to a local wrestling night, and one of the wrestler had this remix as his entrance theme!! I was really hype to hear magus theme
cool cool, but I don't think I ever agreed on such usage of my covers, eh
"I'm coming for you now, Lavos!"
Dude.....................thank you. You made my whole day. Better yet the beginning of my spring break from school. Thank you so much XD
I've waited so long for this one
Worth it
Really good rendition. The bridge is awesome
This is the best version on TH-cam hands down
After making such a masterpiece, you have to make one for lavos/core theme
This is awsome wonder what frogs theme would sound like

oh man, what a nice cover
can be the next "Cannonball", the final boss ost of Megaman Zero 3?
This song is soooo underrated, and you gave it life. n1!
