Okay, I am going to be totally honest. I have found that VERY few people can pull off this song. And by few I mean maybe 1-2 people. And they still weren't that great. But you, you pulled it off. You earned a hard like and sub.
I've listened to hundreds of magus covers, I can't really think of one where I can point to it and be like "that's the one". It's also one of those songs that you'd think lends itself to metal real easy but I just don't think does, maybe because I think it needs something along the lines of a full London Philharmonic backing. Other songs can get away with less, but not Magus' theme, don't ask me why. But I WILL say, as far as covering it in metal, this cover is top 3 easy, well done

Look I've been around TH-cam a pretty long time and I don't usually comment on anything, but I've heard a lot of covers of a lot of songs and I am honestly baffled at how the hell this has only 7.3k views as of this comment. This is honestly one of the best covers of this theme I have ever heard, full stop. How is this not drowning in views?
Chrono Trigger is a pretty darn good RPG, originally released on the Super Nintendo, rereleased countless times including PS1, Nintendo DS, mobile, and more recently Steam! 11 different endings were available in the original release, but yeah, definitely recommend checking it out! Personal favorite releases were the original and the PS1 before they re-translated the script xD
@@blakeirvin3011 Holy crap, 11 endings? Like are most of them bad endings or are they all actual legit endings. This topples most visual novels ending wise, with the max actual endings I've seen before being 7-8.
@@Rescuro One is a definite bad ending and it's not really a spoiler to tell you that it it's when you lose against the final boss. The endings all revolve around what circumstances are at place in the game when you defeat Lavos for the other endings. There are one or two that could be considered bad..? But technically they aren't, they're just.. interesting. One is technically acknowledged in Chrono Cross though I wouldn't have assumed it would have been the canon ending lol. :)
@Lavos Frog is the first example I bring up, because people who hadn't heard about the game can understand why I prefer the original translation when the new ones take away from the character of a KNIGHT from the Dark Ages!
