    I will follow your steps. I found my Mandevilla with root rot. I investigated and found one of those damnable net cloth pots bound tightly around the root ball. The plant grew fine for a while and then the cloth pot began to strangle the life out of it. I noticed yesterday the plant was not taking up water as quickly as normal (My first clue) and next a yellow leaf appeared near the soil. I immediately un-potted and cut back severely. I took as many cuttings as possible and repotted the tiny root ball that was above the net cloth (after rinsing in chlorinated water and Hydrogen peroxide solution). I am now going to follow your steps for caring for the new cuttings. Thank you so much! Once again I went straight to your channel and found the answer I was looking for.

      True yellowing leaves and leaf fall are two biggest signs of overwater ed plants

    Hi, appreciate very insightful videos.
    I got two cuttings of allamanda .Both seem to be very hardy...I directly planted them in soil.
    There is no growth..no change since 3 weeks.Will it ever come back to life?..It appears as hard stick..

    Hi...Is it possible to root mandevilla cuttings in water? I've had success rooting other plant cuttings in water so I wondered if it would work for this plant?

    • @Urbanscapegardening
      @Urbanscapegardening  9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      The thing with mandevilla is to keep it alive and thriving after it roots. Rooting I think is not an issue 🤭
