- Video #2 in the series! Tearing it down piece by piece and there are lots of them. I'm surprised at the condition of this beast, it is pretty good and coming apart very well. I take the roof off and ons fender as well as part of the front in this video - come check it out!

CMPs have quite a cult following here in Oz. After the war they were a large part of our trucking fleet and they were the backbone of our bush fire brigade tanker fleets for many decades as well.
Those Chevrolet straight sixes are smooth running engines. Find a original Delco Remy distributor and convert it over to HEI with a pertronix kit. They look way better than a aftermarket HEI distributor.

Reminds me of an old Dodge Powerwagon . I would paint it Chevy orange . Its a tank and I love it .
Think Ida spent a lil time straightening that front fender while it was still bolted up it could be a bit unruly while off
I sure enjoy watching you build and or working on things. but what's happening with the Frankenstein elan or what ever you guys decided to call it I can't wait to see that thing finished and last but not least keep the videos coming
Still working on it - as soon as it gets warmer im on it.
That thing if you plan on painting it, should be army green. I personally would just clear coat it as is though.
