    Gotta respect how there's not even the smallest amount of hesitation from Max. He runs into the slow moving cars in the pitlane and just floors it around the outside. Perfectly legal move and well executed given the space he had to work with, but to be so quick to just go through with it while Perez has this lengthy back and forth... there is a reason why Perez isn't even close to Max in the ranking and it's not just talent, it's also stuff like this.

      As a Damon Hill fan back in the day, I used to dislike Schumacher very much, but years later I realized it was mostly because of my own biases and the negative image the (mostly British) media created about him, which changed my opinion drastically - now I rate Schumacher extremely high.
      The same thing is happening with Verstappen now. They're trying so hard to portray him in a negative light, overreacting when he does a mistake and downplaying it every time he excels (which is most of the time). The same thing was happening back in the day with Senna too.
      Some people just can't appreciate the ruthless mindset and are just whiners, complaining endlessly, acting like victims, pointing the finger, never taking responsibility.

      @@John64125 What blatant cheating is that? Schumacher deserved every single one of his titles. The only one where you can clearly state he did something intentionally bad was 1997 and he was disqualified from it (which is again extremely harsh, as they could've simply DQ him from that race itself). It was a witch hunt by the Brits in F1.
      Verstappen does what every ruthless champion since Senna has been doing. It's exactly the same kind of racing approach. Senna did it (and perhaps popularized it), Schumacher did it, Alonso did it, Vettel did it, Hamilton did it, Verstappen now does it too. There is absolutely not difference.
      As for saying it's just the car, we've already seen more than enough by Verstappen to know he's the real deal. I'm not even a fan of him, but I can't deny his supreme qualities as a driver. Right now he has maybe the 3rd or 4th fastest car (just look at where Perez is) and yet he's keeping it in the mix for the podium places, even victories. And last year he broke so many records it's unbelievable, with a car that didn't have that great of an advantage as some would like you to believe.

    There's a reason why Max wants to practise the start from pole. He will drop down rubber when doing this, creating more grip for when he really is on pole. I remember in the 90's when Jos Verstappen was in F1 and his start-technique was revealed. He was not happy about it then, but nowadays most drivers do it. They try to lay down as much rubber on their starting position as possible during the formation lap. Just look at how most drivers start their formation lap, it's with full wheel spin to lay down rubber. Max is doing this as well on the pole position, thinking he would get that in this race.

    • @PureMatteo
      @PureMatteo 2 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      didn't know this. Logical trick and during the formation lap you'd clearly want to do a burn out right on top of your position.
      The video is still interesting in the sense he doesn't consider another position than P1 to practice on. He could very much add grip to whoever is P1 if he's not. But his determination is to be P1 and he assumes he won't make a mistake and get P1. That's the point of the video. The rubber thing emphasizes even more the winner mentality he has.

      Only Max can do that and succeed at doing it tbh. Drivers DEFINITELY watches Max's on boards to study how he drives and copy his driving style, but they just don't have the same feeling or intuition that Max has when he's driving. That's the difference and it can never be copied

    Im not at all a pro Lewis or even à Lewis fan but I clearly see that they are a difference between the both cars and this last race was obvious for me that Mercedes don’t give the same chance at Lewis.
    Maybe I am wrong maybe I am right that’s why I want u to make this video because I know your godskill for this kind of videos and I think it will be interesting for others fan to see that and maybe put a clear answer on this debate.

    It's not champion mentality, it's just that Max is a sim racer. He's done that move many times while someone is sleeping, that's why he barely slowed down. While Checo & the rest are chilling, Max is chilling by sim racing all kinds of different cars and working on his technique. His chill time is racing, their chiil time is normal ppl chill time. Giant difference! Danny Ric was the first to realize it.
