In Russia, we had mostly PAL clones of Mega Drive and we had all this games on illegal cartridges. Micro Machines 2 was one of my favorite game on SMD in my childhood. Cannon Fodder also gave us a lot of fun tho! My school friend owned an Alien Soldier cartridge. I've never thought that all of these amazing games were never released in NA!

''Mike this is Cats, all your game room are belong to us, make your time and surrender your software''.
Zero Wing is my most favourite shooter on the Mega Drive, an absolute beast of a game and it has a really great rockin' soundtrack to go with it! I can play this game over and over again and never get bored with it, definitely thrilled to see it mentioned although i'd put it at no.1 Love the video Mike.

    1. Zero Wing

Cannon Fodder is a stellar Point 'n Click game, it's just so much fun working out the best strategy for beating a map, and watching that come to fruition is amazing.
Sensible Software wrote their name in gaming History with Cannon Fodder and Sensible Soccer which is still the greatest Football game ever made, and Sensible World Of Soccer is probably the best version of that title.

      I agree with you.
Sensible Soccer has a pick up and play element that contains so many techniques such as aftertouch, the ball not sticking to players feet, and awesome 2 player competitive greatness that most modern games could learn a thing or two from revisiting those classic gameplay mechanics and which still remain great to this day.
      Cheers.

Cannon Fodder on MD is a glitchy mess and not worthy. If you reach the first Desert level in the same session, (Mexican hat dudes that only shoot back if you shoot first) your find most of the enemies are stuck in the scenery and don't move. Using level codes is the only fix once the enemies glitch into the scenery, and you may find levels there after glitch in the same way. Resetting the game and using level codes also resets your army names back to Jools, Jops & Stu ect... Best played on Amiga.
