Well Stuart I have today removed my wheels on my 2016 Triumph T120 as I am spending £900 On Monday on replacement aluminium rims and spokes. Reason for this is because I was disappointed with the rust that had formed on my rear wheel, even though it had been wrapped in dust cover, then all weather cover and then stored in a garage. When I removed the rear axle it was as dry as a bone it showed no evidence of grease at all. Whats going on with the grease monkey then?

Installed my new brass adjusters yesterday. Had to remove my pea shooters on my 2019 T100 first, so took a bit longer than expected, but lots of time available these days. My axle did have a thin film of white grease on it, but I cleaned it and used a higher grade (and more) to keep things well coated.
    Thanks again for your videos!
    Best,
    Phil

Stuart, many thanks for the - as always - clear instruction with good visuals and really useful extras such as greasing the axle, using a cloth etc. I like Motone's stuff but got a November deal on the Triumph black adjusters so will now be fitting those with the clear knowledge gained here. Many thanks again, Barney.

Really like the looks of this with the bobbins, would be nice if they offered an acorn style brass plated nut to go over the threaded side and a brass plug with rubber grommet to cover the stock axel head on the other.

What kind of paddock stand bobbins are those also?

Beautiful pieces; I though at first there was a mark of some sort on one after installation, turned out to be a reflection in that marvelous brass! They've probably sold that first lot in the few hours since this was put out; I'll have to check my T100, could be mistaken but I think it has a different set-up as it's a first-gen model ('02). If those fit, though, I'll have to get some!

They look lovely. Bit naughty of Triumph skimping on a bit of grease, whatever happened to "Don't spoil the ship for a ha'p'orth of tar"

Thanks Stuart. Used your promo code to get parts shipped to me within days to NY. You did not mention any threadlock. Do you recommend that none be used for the axel thread? Thanks, Phil
