Hi Jack, Thanks for the video. Your bike looks great. My tip: Whenever I loosen bolted connections where Loctite was used, I clean the threads with a tap before rejoining the connections. Cured Loctite can damage a thread if not removed. Especially with load-bearing connections, such as on suspensions components, it is important that the threads are not damaged. After cleaning, I wet the bolts with fresh Loctite and mark the bolting with a touch-up pen to easily identify loosened connections. Thanks again and a great and safe riding season to all bikers out there!
Hi Korni I did actually clean them out but did not add this on the video, I just mentioned it. I do occasionally use Loctite but didn't add this time as I am later adding a helmet lock and probably removing the top bolts to add luggage bobbins (when I get them) thanks for your advice though 👍👍
@@JackBonhamMotorcycles Hi Jack, I’ve not been out much and it’s really getting to me! I need my rideout fix. Cleaned them off today checked the tyres and lubricated the chains. Won’t be long now, bring on the warmer weather!!
Interesting but is where I disagree with your choice. I replaced the upper fitting with luggage securing bobbin, also from Motone. This means that together with the luggage rack you have more options for tie-downs. Your brass embellishers do look good though.

Hi Trevor. I do agree but the luggage bobbins were out of stock when I ordered so got these and the bobbins are on the next order 👍👍
Where did you buy the leather tank strap on the bike in the beginning of the video?
I will get back to you. The bike is is my workshop so need to go over and look at it.
