Mr. Stuart, you truly are an inspiration to born-again bikers like me ! Your passion to motorcycle engineering, maintenance, attention to detail and capturing narrative with humour is mesmerising and enjoyable - and your practices and tips on maintenance I follow on my T100 with much delight ; my compliments to you on this excellent addictive channel. You are a wizard !
Asking people to do the difficult task of either a) watching a video or b) looking to see the code in the description twice lol. Excellent video as always. I want a triumph one of these days.
Hi Stuart I followed you’re fitting steps for the 47mm guvnors brass and everything went very well , now I have a set of the brass govners for my 2017 bobber, and would like to know if the process is the same ? Cheers Dave
I have one Bonneville A3 which is one of the best bike I ever own. Its simplicity is its biggest weapon. Only seeing the bike creates enjoyment in my feelings. I love only to see it and start it once in a week.
Did you know the 650 header pipes are double walled and have a pesky converter in them , change them and gain hp a tad and huge torque overall the rpm range without loosing weight in that area .
We need these in Canada please. Well, one in any case. I will be watching my email closely. Great vids, good info and memories of home. I’m going to have a little cry now. It’s the shiny brass, honest.
Looks just lovely Stewart. i just finished getting my '05 T100 all finished up with a tail tidy, JPS black & Brass turn signals, and new brass accents for the choke, shifter, yolk and finned carb tops (they FINALLY released ones for the actual carberated models!). I owe how good my bike now looks directly to you and this very informative channel. You turned me onto Motones high quality standard for parts, not to mention their great eye for tasteful design, and now my bike looks simply fantastic. I only wish I had paid more attention to recent videos so I could of utilized the exclusive disocunt codes you kindly been providing and I could of saved me a pretty penny to get these parts sent from the UK to me over in Canada.... But now I want a set of Govereners for my folk tops, so maybe CACTUS will get a bit of use.... PS - Thanks for your detailed video of how to install the Tail Tidy for the T100, it was invaluable info for a very basic novice mechanic like me who is more into bikes for the riding than the tinkering. You're straight forward instrucitons made install a breeze, espcially since Motone doesn't seem to inlcude any install instructions with any of their parts either with the part package themselves or online via .pdf or something similar. Maybe they should simply sponsor you to keep making install videos as the offical Motone parts installation manual!
these brass bits look great I have neither Triumph nor Enfield in my garage although I would luv to have both but that another thing .It is a shame that Motone only do parts for these models but I can see why they don't as they are a company that do specialize in bespoke parts and to widen that out to all bikes would be a mahusive task . Good one Stuart : )
Greetings from Lincoln! Beautiful addition to the Bobber Black those Guvnors - great vid Stuart! Just thought I'd share with your community my experience trying to source a Bobber 2021. I'm hoping to take my test shortly and have been trying to source a new Bobber with the 12 litre tank for when I do. My local dealer in Lincoln can't seem to get any until October - whether they've actually sold any yet is unknown me - so I tried the dealer in Stoke. They have a couple in red and grey but nothing in black which is the colour I want until October. Supply seems to be a real problem for this new bike ATM. It may be that I will have to go for a used Bobber Black if I want to ride on a Bobber in the colour of my choice this summer (assuming I don't flunk my test that is 😁). Am hoping for a comment or two from comrades on this channel rgds this. If I do manage to get my Bobber / Black I think Motone are going to do pretty well out of me 😁 Set of Guvnors, fuel tank cap and a pair of those gorgeous side panels to replace the branded ones as per one of your previous vids. Enjoy learning from your channel every week, no matter what the content 👍
Triumph Generally only build bikes to order. so if there is demand for the new version the waiting list will run into months. some dealerships do order for stock by erm cheating with the paperwork.!
@@stuartfillingham Thank you so much for your reply- hugely enlightening! I reckon I'm going to need to completely rethink my first big bike buying strategy. Once I've qualified I'll wait for a nice used Bobber Black to come on the market and snap it up. I think patience - something of which I am in short supply 😁 - will be needed. Thanks again 👍
Stuart, I am a civil servant in govenment.... People really are that thick. They seem to have an ability to miss instructions and clear descriptions with such perfection it often leaves us open mouthed and needing to walk away through fear of having to react in a particular inappropriate way.. After 30 years it seems there is no sign of it getting any better.
Thanks for your quick reply Stu, just checked on motone website and they’re not in stock yet but the way you fit them would be the same way as you fitted them on your bobber?

Nice looking parts Stu. Motone certainly keep coming up with the goods and I do love the look of the Bobber. So what is the discount code...... Only joking.

Top tip, smear a little grease or vaseline on the O ring, stop it snagging on the way home. Fantastic as usual big Stu 👍🏼

I am amazed what an incredible difference they make. They are just so, well, 'right'.

Sorry TRIUMPH, but there is “NO” excuse for building your machines overseas, we “NEED” manufacturing in the UK😇
You’ll end up like “DYSON” manufacturing overseas, but “still” charging the UK motorcyclist as if it is made here🧐
