    Yeah I used have so much fun just learning to ride and slide around it really helps u be more relaxed on the bike but there are a lot of little tricks to going fast and controll ing the bike,I used to love going to the national s and watching the pros its so deceiving. Because they are so smooth going thru the corners they don't look like they are going fast because they are so fluid in their movements even late in the motos when the track is super rough chopped up they just keep the same pace...thanks I brag to everyone that this little drill the oval is the best way for new riders to get good fast,mostly because u learn to move and build your reaction speeds,a big key,I used to have my own little track oval in my parents back yard and would ride motors for 4 or 5 hours,when I got board I run it backwards,and also used to make up different tracks going in and out of scattered trees in the yard,one of the things I used to do to build my quickness was wait as long as I could coming around a small tree to decide if I was gonna go left or right,that really made u stay up on the controls and made me real fast in tight turns,hey I was 15years old and I got bored...so I just made up my own exercises....piece out have fun ride safe practice practice,the right way.THANKS

    The best way I found to learn myself was starting on pea gravel super slippery stuff and always almost forces you to use good technique if you want to take any speed through it

    Man I can laugh about it now,but when I first tried racing motocross I was so pumped to get out on a real two stroke( now looking back I had probably the best one of all time for my first race bike a 1986 CR250,it was perfect unfortunately I wasn't ,here s the fun part I had cut my teeth riding old four stroke beating guys on race bikes,then on a two stroke my three friends used to be in the side if the track all of them giving me the hold it pinned sign with their arms I was trying to roll the throttle on like my four stroke,laughing now I thought they were just being jokers but that later on is how u had to ride the two strokes for the most part,body position gas, work the clutch,but for the most part keep the gas on don't feather it...that 86 CR250r was a great bike,it was a factory bike unfortunately it got stolen while I was selling it,I didn't know what I had till I started getting newer bikes that made me work harder to go fast,today s four strokes are incredible best learn and be in shape because they don't play they are what we been asking for great bikes we got them now....thanks keep up the good work...there a lot of little things to learn racing,never stop learning...THANKS who me I don't make mistake s may be spelling...not riding...hah hah

      You aint lying about the new 4 strokes I bought a race built 09 crf 450r with 14.3 hours on it about 2 weeks ago and wow it is an eye opener you must have good technique at all times or this bike will dominate you and pumble you to the point where you wont wanna touch it again like yesterday i was riding and I came down this little hill and went through this rut that I made on my fourwheeler (which I came from riding atvs straight to a race bike) and I made the mistakes of letting my arms fall out of the box position so since I hit this little rutt sitting down it whiskey throttled but I just moved up on the bike gripped tight with my legs and grabbed the clutch and back brakedidnt stall nor did I fall over just opened my eyes really

    Is the right foot pushing the peg down or is the right pushing the peg out? Your videos are awesome and are a huge help!

    Hey I'm a relatively new rider and have been having trouble cornering. When taking a corner do you first 1- Do you pull the clutch in and lock the rear wheel/brake 2- rev the bike then slip the clutch making you spin out the rear wheel and then ride fast out of the corner? Or do you ease on the clutch as you ease on the throttle? Thank you!

    How do i do in right turn?

  • @Semics5
    @Semics5  8 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Jeremy, u still keep it on the back brake until u get on the clutch and throttle. U don't have to put ur foot out before that because when ur using the rear back it will pull the front wheel back and to the inside, keeping it from sliding out!

    So when you enter the corner and you begin to brake, once you take your rear brake off and put the weight down on the peg, your left leg starts up high near the front wheel and eventually lowers to the ground to maintain balance if need be. Is the foot initially up that high so you get as much weight down on your peg foot as possible??

    i get that you have to put your on the back brake but if your turning to the right you have to have your foot out to turn but then you cant put your foot on the back brake. What do you do?

    What happens to this technique when you're turning right? Stand, F&R brake, sit, off the brakes, right leg out, power up? Would love to see a short vid on this.

    It's about the same, u use the rear brake until u begin using the clutch and throttle. Then put ur foot out.

    • @Semics5
      @Semics5  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      britlips on the way into the corner control the rear brake better in order to pull the front wheel back and to the inside. Then at the transition get onto the clutch and throttle to also keep the front from sliding out.
