Mr. Sam! It is always great to learn from you! My wife and I are still so thank you for your presentations during COVID. You were such a tremendous help to us! Thank you once again!
I didn't know anything about this platform but this tutorial not only helped explain more about it but nearly persuades me to purchase that subscription. I think I might at least do the 30-day free trial. Good video intro to this platform!
Wow! The amount of work you put into those videos! Thank you! Do you happen to come across a similar platform that doesn’t require monthly subscription?
I know it says ‘Gimkit tutorial for teachers’ but I’m actually a kid but I just like your edits it’s very good unlike others your is DEFINITELY better I mean DEFINITELY. And I LOVE gimkit my Spanish teacher always play it with me and I just LOVE THAT GAME. I kept praying to play it with her again! Thanks, (also I’m new to your channel~UwU~)
Question: Is it possible to print a PDF or worksheet of the kit questions you put into Gimkit? This is a feature I love with Wordwall, however Gimkit is cheaper and far deeper.
I'm highly impressed with Gimkit! All thanks to you as I had no idea about it earlier. Thank you so much Sam! But I have restrictions and would love to know if there are free gamifying tools for educators (of India as well)
I appreciate that a high school student designed this tool, however, he/she should sell it to school districts rather than teachers. Teachers already give away a lot of personal time (lesson prep, before school, after school) and some even supply a lot of materials out of their own pockets. If my district were to buy this tool, I'd use it; if not, I won't.
I used Gimkit for the first time last week after hearing about it on your channel and I’m excited about using it more. I started with the Floor is Lava because I figured that was one that was different enough to interest my students but predictable enough to know it wasn’t going to take the whole period. One big question I have (granted, I’m not get through this whole video so maybe you answer it) is how long do some of the versions take? I imagine the infinity mode or Trust No One could take a long time with all the other things the students are thinking of other than just reviewing their vocabulary. Any suggestions for how much time to expect if I decide to try one of those modes?
Hi Ginny, Thanks for your question, and my apologies for the long delay in responding. Yeah, some of the games can take quite a long time (esp. Trust No One). In general the less involved the games are, the faster they tend to go, though you can also make them go faster by adjusting the settings when you set the game up.
Me and my classmates always enjoyed playing Gimkit especially at the end of the school year my teacher let us play Trust No One, Super Rich, Floor is Lava, and FishTopia.
Your best bet is to set up classes (on the left-hand side of the screen when logged in). That makes it impossible for students to choose another name/write an inappropriate name.
Totally understand Jade. I'd always look to try and get my administration to pay for any apps I plan to use in the classroom and letting them know how I think it'll improve student learning outcomes.

Awesome, glad to hear!
What a creative way to have fun learning and to facilitate team work and collaboration. Love your sense of humor as well.
Thank you! Glad you enjoyed it!
I am so glad you added this, Sam, as I would like to use it this week 😀 Thank-you!
Amazing, have fun, Heather!!
Really appreciate the detail & effort you put into this. Really helped me get my head wrapped around Gimkit.
Awesome Sherry! Hope your students enjoy it 👍🏼

Excellent job. (Man, I bet this one took you a LONG time to make. So much detail here!) Adding this to our PD for our teachers.
Thanks, Paul! Yeah, this one was a monster project for sure!
Thank you! I feel way more confident about running my quiz review session tomorrow.
Right on! How did it go Paula?
Hi Sam, which game-based programme would you recommend to build a trivial quiz about Japan for elementary school learners?
You might want to try Blooket! But Gimkit would work too!

Hi Jason, I know you can print reports, but it doesn't look like they've made the questions printable.
@@NewEdTechClassroom Man if they make the questions printable into a worksheet I’m in!
@@jasonfleegle6678 I hear you!
Thank you so much Sam! You give amazing explanations!!! You are helping me a lot!
Happy to help, Gabriela!!
Nice video! Doubt…. How many players/students can participate in a live game? i have an Gimkit pro account (free trial)
Thanks! Gimkit says they allow up to 500 players with their paid version.
This video is so well put together. I’m blown away and very thankful that you made it.
Thanks so much Ricardo! Glad you found it helpful 👍🏼

You’re welcome! You might want to check out Quizizz or Blooket as an alternative
Where do students click to have the questions translated into Spanish? Thank you.
How can I adjust it to be limited to just 8quiz? Because when I finish 8quiz it will run a same quiz please answer🙏🏻🙏🏻
very well presented. Have you investigated Class Craft?
Thanks! We have! Check out this other video: th-cam.com/video/Mw0D8jxtxRI/w-d-xo.html
Good timing! I just signed up for the paid version.
Awesome! Have fun!
This is very interesting. I think I will try this out for review with my students.
Awesome, have fun!

I definitely agree, and I'm sure they sell to schools as well as individual teachers!
Yes, districts can buy site licenses.
Yes. My school purchased the pro version for all of it’s teachers.
Gimkit is great! My kids love it! It has Amoung Us , infinity Stones, Zombies vs humans.
I bet, Dean! So fun!!
Is there a free version
This video was so helpful! Thank you!
You're very welcome!
This was a wonderful tutorial! Thanks!
You're very welcoome!
How different is Gimkit from Kahoot? I can't remember if there is a record option on Kahoot.
Gimkit has more game-within-a-game modes than Kahoot, which is mostly just about the initial game of answering questions and earning points.
@@NewEdTechClassroom Thank you!!
Frankly, this is more interesting than Kahoot.

Do you have a video for Blooket?
Not yet, but it's coming!
tried this in class today and I do wish that there was a teacher-paced version.
Yeah, that would be a useful option!
Very well explained. Thanks a lot!
You're very welcome!
Why I cant add audio??
In which part?
I love this video its so helpfull please make more of these
Wow Such a nice video! So helpful and easy to understand
Will do Mathew!
How do you remove inappropriate names during the game?
Your best bet is to set up classes (on the left-hand side of the screen when logged in). That makes it impossible for students to choose another name/write an inappropriate name.
Does it have the capacity to add a co-teacher?
Not that I know of; it looks like it's a heavily requested feature though.
Thanks for all the help
Great video, thank you so much.
Thanks Margaret! Happy GimKitting!
I love gimkit🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
Boss Status!! Where do you come up with all this stuff...like I said ... Boss Status!
Ha! Thank you so much!
@@NewEdTechClassroom own it brother!
Me and my friends just kept calling meetings in trust no one.
😅There's a limit though?
@@NewEdTechClassroom We called them until the game was over and no one knew who the imposter was. So they voted out crewmates instead and lost ;)
+62Thanks for your tutorial.👍
You're very welcome, Andy!
Will students have the money they made from one quiz saved for the next?
❤
Thanks I’m student 😏
def not $4 a month... its $10 a month and $4 a month if you pay the annual price. Its pricey for teachers
