    Thank you for another helpful video. I really like how you showcase usage of free programs available for online learning. I also like how the programs are interactive, encouraging students to share and maintain a sense of community. Providing a 'heads-up' about some aspects (i.e. 'reactions' in Padlet that can be distracting from the learning). GIF use, so important to build in humor, especially nowadays.

    Awesome video and HOST -- the kind of personality that will keep me engaged. As a teacher, I am literally in my Zoom PD for Padlet at this very moment! Got more from this 10 mins than I still am sitting here listening to the drone of our instructor (at 8AM is kinda a challenge keeping my attention). I had this video on simultaneously and am now about to interact with my colleagues as we're now gonna be "quizzed" by doing our own. LOL... I got this now! ;)

    Hi Sam, a huge thank you for getting me so interested in wanting to try out different tech tools. In viewing your videos and the way you explain each step is really encouraging. But with that said, I'm not sure where to start. I teach 3rd grade and was wondering if you can offer some suggestions on the easiest way to begin getting my 'feet wet.' Thanks again!

    • @NewEdTechClassroom
      @NewEdTechClassroom  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You're very welcome! The best place to start is by first identifying some big goals. What do you want to accomplish with technology? Foster creativity? Increase engagement/fun factor? Make lessons more interactive? Personalize instruction? Once you've identified a goal, figure out what tech tools with best help you achieve those goals, and start one piece at a time.
      That being said, I actually think Padlet is an excellent tool for getting your feet wet because it's really easy to use, but also transformative in that it promotes the idea that work is created to be published and shared. It's also highly engaging for students when they are all live posting and commenting on each other's work.
      Padlet was one of first edtech tools I used years ago that got me really excited about using technology in my classroom!

    Such an amazing video!! I´m so glad I´ve found your channel, it has lots of tools to improve remote teaching and they will definitely come quite handy this next semester. I have a question how many post or students can edit a padlet? I have two classes with a total of 170 students. Do you think this is a good option to work with or would you recommend a different one?

    • @NewEdTechClassroom
      @NewEdTechClassroom  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Deborah, Thanks for your positive feedback! There isn't any limit to the number of people who can join a Padlet at the same time, though I probably wouldn't recommend having all 170 students in a single Padlet board. I think your best bet would be to create separate boards for your different classes and then archive them when you are finished so you can access additional boards.
      Hope that helps somewhat!
