I've always hated how the GRA content is kept separated from the core game content, and the suffix. Obsidian should've implemented them better. Thankfully there are mods for this. Great video!
It's less obsidian more engine and the nature of DLC. I mean hell if you wanna mod these games and utilize multiple dlc you have to edit code to allow it. It's why fallout 3 was way more generic with it's perks.
@@BaeBunni I was the restrictions put in place with how they were sold. As there was nothing wrong with the mods that came out shortly after and even JSawyer's own patch. Sadly the way it was parsed out by Zenimax limited the interaction, its way Veronica could never learn the fate of Christina.
@@BaronofCaring He said it himself in a post years go on formsprings. while it was specifically aimed at "grunt" that there were load order conflicts. He mentions it in multiple posts and even with the mod patch he made he need a 3rd party program to ensure it didn't break. Imo sounds like a poor engine, it's not as if gamebryo was considered cutting edge at the time even on it's creation.
Thank you for sharing your opinions on these weapons. I'm currently planning a new build and liked the inspiration. But it would have been very welcome if you did this while showing the guns you were talking about. This way, the video is all in all a little lackluster.

I might do a trait round up or a perk round up to give a more detailed opinion and disection onto other elements of the game. Got a lot on my plate and hopefully I can go there
Don't get it, ever. It's a trap for new players. The accuracy is only noticable with guns with really bad spread. Like SMGs. And these don't necessarily need the buff anyways. At the other hand, accurate guns are already accurate and removing the spread by 20% isn't noticable. Sacrificing so much DPS for it would hurt you a lot. On the other hand, even though it might sound counter-intuitive, "fast shot" is really good if you plan on using accurate rifles. A spread increase of 20% won't hurt them much because they go from pin-point to... still pinpoint for most encounters. But the added DPS is extremely valuable.
@@simons1120 I just find it to be a fun thought to have an automatic weapon play through, avoiding vats a lot. Getting the lvl 50 perk with increased RoF would offset it. I've always ran fast shot for the dps but automatic weapons are just wild at any decent range
Which are the others two weapons who can kill Frank Horrigan in one turn? I know the other is the Vindicator Minigun. The other could be is the YK42B Pulse Rifle?

It truelly is. The first time I played I thought nothing of it having not played Fallout 2 at the time. It was expensive so it must be good. Even with the patches that add it to the grunt perk list it's still in such a sad state. It really deserves better.

It's the pancor jackhammer, no single shot weapon could manage it. The third and most expensive option is the Vindicator Minigun as you said.

Sad day for the bozar when its the worst 5.56 weapon. Seems like even the mightiest must fall to Mojave.
