@@isakmaaan0326 Mavs have not won a playoff series without Jason Kidd involved since 2006. They overachieved in 2022 getting to the WCF. They've won 12 of their last 17 games, the team is starting to gel at the right time, you should chill on Kidd and give him a chance. The team is 1.5 games out of 5th, and given all the injuries, 5th would be pretty good in a conference this loaded. Did you come into this season thinking they'd be the 1 or 2 seed with this roster? I doubt it. 4th-6th is pretty much where most realistic Mavs fans hoped we'd finish.
doesn’t really matter how good he is offensively until he learns how to play without the ball and give a least a minimal effort on defense the mavs won’t go anywhere
How good is he? He can potentially be a top-3 player all-time in the goat conversation. I think he's already a top-25 player all-time. According to the Basketball Reference HoF Probability predictor formula, based on his current accolades, he has a 47.9% chance of being selected to the Hall of Fame. According to the same model, Tatum has a 20.1% chance, and Booker has a 2.6% chance. And both have been it the league longer than Luka.
Luka can arguably go to the hall of fame if he retired today. The hall of fame doesn’t just place nba players, Luka has achieved a lot in the euroleague
Does this guy really think Luka is passing the ball with out knowing where his teammate is, unless you never played basketball you always look that's how you know where they are then you look away when your doing the pass or you seem them from the corner of your eye, you don't have to look direct at someone to see them. This guy is crazy
Luka is an extraordinary talent, but I think he takes too much on himself because he's simply so good, but he needs to trust his teammates a bit more (currently only Kyrie is near Luka's level) or of course get another top level scorer apart from him and Kyrie
Sometimes less is more. I don't see any evidence that you can win titles like this. Why did this team acquire Kyrie Irving if they want to play in such a ball-dominant style where everything goes through Luka? Really, none of this is a criticism of Luka. It's more Jason Kidd that needs to be questioned on this. I think other players need to touch the ball more in Dallas and I think Luka needs to buy in on defense more (not just to try to get steals or blocks but actual man-to-man defense that won't get you any stats). If they give him the MVP then so be it, he's playing great. For me though, huge stats with an underachieving team doesn't make for a very good MVP argument.
buddy did you watch this team before they had kyrie? luka got ran into the ground by mid season from being the only capable ball handler on the team. and if you watch the games, ever since exum and kyrie have both been healthy luka is playing off the ball much more lmao. i don’t understand this narrative that the best offensive talent in the league who generates more than half of his teams points should touch the ball LESS when the offense has consistently been one of the best in the league. it’s a tired take that’s criticizing the wrong side of the court for this team
@@bakedizzle24 At least you admit that you don't understand. That's a start. Out of curiosity, did you understand when it was James Harden putting up video game numbers and NOT winning championships? Did you understand then why such a ball-dominant style won't get you there? How about when it was Russ in OKC after KD left the team? Did you understand it then? At least Harden had some of those Rockets teams in the #1 seed out West. Luka has played with the likes of Irving, Brunson and Porzingis and he can't get out of the play-in bracket, meanwhile all of those guys have won more after leaving the Mavs or (in Kyrie's case) before getting there. So these are all guys you can win with... Helio-centric teams lose to teams that share the ball fairly consistently, and teams that play poor defense can only go so far. I'd take a version of Luka with perhaps slightly lesser stats, if he played good defense and didn't need the ball to have an impact on the game. That's the type of team that might actually win against the top teams in the league. You have to wrap your head around the psychology of playing on a team like this. It's never a good thing when guys are standing around watching one player with the ball all game. I'd also stop well short of calling Luka the most talented player in the league. He's got a very effective style of play on offense that basically combines bully-ball with finesse and great passing ability but there are guys with more raw talent. For the record, I think Luka is a great player. He's a one-per-generation sort of player who deserves a ton of recognition. I just think that there is no way he will win a title with this kind of team and playing in this way.
@@georgekhmaladze5940 Kyrie can do that in his sleep and it's not about "poor Kyrie". It's about properly using what you have on your roster to actually win instead of underachieving year after year.
Luka playing the best bb in NBA
luka issa mastermind of a basketball world and highest iq and greatest pace
Pretty good. 👌🏽
doesn’t really matter how good he is offensively until he learns how to play without the ball and give a least a minimal effort on defense the mavs won’t go anywhere
Content about "we done with the 90's"
Luka is the best in the league hands down
1:03 wasn't a no look pass = bad pass
why even bring it up?
LeBrons on that new juice
Domantas Sabonis doesn't get a video? Cmon now coach.
Dammit.. you’re right
Great player in his era 😅
The Mavs surely did the right thing trading for Luka.
can’t believe y’all americans ever doubted him
Piccaso of Basketball
LUKA MVP
Really hope he wins a ring, he’s too good not to
The Mario Bro's a I neeed Luka and Kai to dress for Halloween next year!!!!!
We not talmbout okc now coach?
Just like Luka said, it's easier to play in nba than euro league.
When Irving is on fire this team is unstoppable.
Does this guy really think Luka is passing the ball with out knowing where his teammate is, unless you never played basketball you always look that's how you know where they are then you look away when your doing the pass or you seem them from the corner of your eye, you don't have to look direct at someone to see them. This guy is crazy
"It's easier to score in the NBA" - Luka Doncic
He's a generational talent but I don't think he deserves a mvp trophy as long as his defense is such a liability
Should’ve been the #1 pick.
I need Luka to win at least 3 man 😩
Well youre right about the defense too, he got tired out and fouled out. Damn. Boston won.
Luka up 3-0. You have a very good prediction coach nickstrodamous
Luka is an extraordinary talent, but I think he takes too much on himself because he's simply so good, but he needs to trust his teammates a bit more (currently only Kyrie is near Luka's level) or of course get another top level scorer apart from him and Kyrie
They gonwin finals
He should go to the East, since he can easily beat teams like the Cavs, Bucks, and Knicks.
I'm going to ask you very kindly to fuck off. He's just fine in Dallas.
Esi šviesa kuri nuskaidrina pasaulio sutemas 😇💖💖💖
Yeah poor kyrie, he only gets like 26 ppg
buddy did you watch this team before they had kyrie? luka got ran into the ground by mid season from being the only capable ball handler on the team. and if you watch the games, ever since exum and kyrie have both been healthy luka is playing off the ball much more lmao. i don’t understand this narrative that the best offensive talent in the league who generates more than half of his teams points should touch the ball LESS when the offense has consistently been one of the best in the league. it’s a tired take that’s criticizing the wrong side of the court for this team
It's supposed to be about winning dude. A lot of Mavs fans seem to like moving goal posts. I don't recall the goal being an 8 seed when you brought Kyrie in...
@@sandman1347you realize their (Luka and Kyrie) average shots taken splits are 24 and 20 a game right? Y’all spitting all narratives without actually knowing what you’re watching lol
He is sooo good makin it look easy.. if this was chess he is a grandmaster
May you please do the same analysis for Lebron James.
34/9/10 is no joke
