I made this exact recipe and exact measurements on ingredients and ended up too liquity, tryed it for the second time and just added corn starch and WOOOOOWWWW !!! PERFECT EXACTLEY LIKE RUDYS !!!I BET YOU WPULDNT TELL THE DIFERENCE!!! NO BUTTER NO PEPPER NOTHING!!! JUST THIS EXACT INGIDIENTS PLUS CORN STATCH !! YOULL BE SURPRISED!! Thanks for shareing
Rudy's brisket always gave my heartburn. I started buying my bbq meats at a local mom and pop, but had to make a second trip to Rudy's just to buy the creamed corn. No more! Thanks for the recipe!
The way I do mine is put olive oil on ears of corn along with salt and course black pepper. Put it in smoker with hickory wood @ 250 for about 30-40 minutes. Take and remove corn from cob, put in sauce pan. Put butter in pan, Caramelize, little flour, brown sugar, cream, nut meg. Bring to a boil. Amounts given are to taste. If you want a very tasty version of yours just smoke corn. Yours looks delicious, I will try it. Thanks for sharing.
Now this is new to me. I have to make it and try it. Thank you so much for showing this to us. Have a fantastic week and God bless you.✌👍🎄 you do know how to make the country real cream corn..can corn, bring to a boil., add milk and flour in a jar shake it and pour in the boiling corn whisk till tick, add salt and pepper, I add about two table spoon of butter to mine and serve over hot biscuits.
I'm from buffalo ny but I see all these rudys locations are down south. If you pay for fuel we can partner and visit all rudys and see which one has the best cream corn. Love the vid and hope to hear from you soon.
This guy is wrong. I made this everyday at a Rudy's for two years. You can get the ingredients at Walmart for dirt cheap. It's very simple & very fattening. Let me know if you want the exact recipe. Rudy's is the McDonald's/Burger King of barbeque. Stay away from franchises.
Tim Parker Yes Tim PLEEEEASE!! I’m from San Antonio & my son in law asked me to bring him Rudy’s creamed corn up in Chicago. I couldn’t get it through TSA and would love to make it for him while I’m here visiting. My email is ThinLineWarriors@gmail.com. I hope you get this message!!! :)
Thanks for the recipe!!! [Too bad about the secret ingredient. I refuse to buy ANYTHING sold by Nestle, the same company that is trying to own all of the water in the world so that people will have to pay for it. There are worse things about them but this is the thing that stuck in my mind. Evil corporation. I'll just use half and half and add xanthan gum.]
Sorry, dude, your recipe is wrong as well. Rudy's doesn't use that media crema and half and half and you're missing four more ingredients in the actual recipe.
@@H_Town_Raised713 frozen corn, heavy whipping cream, milk, parmesan cheese, flour, butter, white pepper, salt, sugar. What I won't do, is give you the measurements. Speaking of which, I just might make it today.
Nope, not it. This is the recipe. corn, butter, milk, heavy whipping cream, salt, white pepper, parmesan cheese, sugar, flour. Measurements? I will not say. hahaha!
Your recipe is spot on. Thanks!
Thank you!! I always reference this video every thanksgiving

Question: is it supposed to be watery? I used the exact measures and it's kinda like a soup still good though. 😅
Same here. First time I made it, it was pretty thin. Second time around I let it simmer on really low heat for over an hour and that thickened it up.
Looks delicious. I love creamed corn.
Thanks Greg, it's really good.
Thanks for sharing the recipe. I've tasted it once at Rudy's and I was like-- I have to go back again...lol It was really that good.
Glad to see you back on YT, Tom!
I think eagle brand condensed milk ...
I love it! I can tell you really put alot of time and talent into your recipes. I think I'm gonna try this!
Thanks!

It does look great! Making it today. I wonder if ok to make ahead and reheat later tonight?
Trying it tomorrow. Love your video!
Love Rudy's BBQ. Gotta watch out for those whole pickled jalapenos though. I got lit up one day after consuming one.
As an employee it’s pretty close
Wait will this work with fresh corn that you take off the cob?
I see no reason why not.
Rudy's creamed corn tastes sweet. I noticed you added salt, but no sugar. How did you get it to taste sweet like Rudy's?
Hallo greetings from Germany what is half and half?
Thick milk?!
A mixture of half cream and half milk
You don't need condensed milk???
Was not expecting this, but he seemed nice
enjoy your video's Tom and love the shirt
Thanks, I'm a big fan of bacon!
Its too thin. Needs corn starch thickener, and I would think use cream over half and half.
It looks watery
making this today thanks bro

hola
My dad made the best ever creamed corn, fresh, nothing from a can. Period...
Where did he get his cream?
Juice from the fresh corn cob shaved and butter in a cast iron skillet, Heavy with black pepper, extra butter an some more butter. Try it out :-)
Ah, gotcha, thanks.

TYVM! Wait until you try some real BBQ!
Sounds like a good recipe but not the Rudys recipe
Can you cut down on the talking.Other than that good presentation. Also,we can't see your cooking

what kind of milk
@@tillaakinjayeju6902 regular whole milk.
For sure I smell butter in Rudy’s
@@buckyb7658 There's very little butter. It's used with flour to make roux as a thickener.
Hi! Can you give me the recipe ? Plsss
