Very nice ride in the snow. I have watched Josh in Canada and he was in the area my sister lived, Calgary, Edmonton and her small town. She always talked about being in the flat land but the mountains around them was really beautiful in the snow. Tell your son to be safe (in his job) and his new car. Having my youngest grandson over during school break he mentioned our oldest thinking he would be going to war as he is 19. I hope we can finally say we have world peace. Happy New Year.

It's a BUMMER, that this countryside is all socked in. This part of The San Rafael Swell, from what I understand, has to rank as some of the grandest rimrock displays anywhere, in "Rimrock Country".
Beautiful!!!! I drove mostly east coast...and south east....Loved New England and drove there a lot...Spent some nights downtown New York City in the Bronx. Woke up just about everywhere a time or two....

You’re not alone Mike, I went back to work after the New Years off time and pow, I went down for two days from flu like symptoms. It was a chest cold. I went over that mountain in September and man it was beautiful. Not like it is in your video. Keep on truckin. Look forward to next video.

They interviewed a driver from back east who said they should drive much slower! It was not what you would have said! Hope your cold goes away & you feel good again! Be safe! Peace.
Utah finished that road while they were building Glenwood Canyon. Only took them a couple of years. I was dating a gal from Salina and I lived in Denver. Drove it many times! Two Lane. Day and night! That was around 1980!
Cant you get a trip log tablet and keep track in there for when that thing stops working and you'll have the info handy, therefore no violations......I would. I know its an ass pain but at least you will be prepared......love watching your videos. I love traveling and you go to places I don't normally go so its great!
Hey I'm watching this in Jan 2023 and both my adult kids were sick for Christmas 2019. My son was very sick fever cough 🤧 Now I think they both had covid. They both got better but it was a very bad illness. Never tested it was b4 we knew about covid.
Use ONLY FULL SYNTHETIC OIL in your new Caddy. Drain and replace whatever crap is in it now. You'll never have an internal engine problem. I recommend Mobil 1.

CTS-V is a nice ride. Good luck replacing those tires at roughly $250/per. Worth it though, they're real grippy. And funny, as I write this comment you're talking about the snow tires. I have the Taurus SHO and really appreciate the all wheel drive. Have never felt anything but completely stable on the roads.

@riding shotgun : Try logging the addresses of your drops in to Google Maps right after you pick up a load. It records everything, even stops and it's printable too. I used it for a driving job with Big Brothers Big Sisters. In case your e log goes haywire.
I drove a 82 long nose Peterbilt with a silver 92 motor in it and I it runs real good and the Jake work good on it too maybe your Jake was wore out on it or something
Don't say 'cold'...just do like the doctors do and say 'it's just a sinus infection' ...take the nasal spray and 'Z' pack and the steriod/amoxicillin tabs...you'll be ok. GodBless you for your excellent videos.

Thanks for your videos! There's a section of highway coming out of Vegas heading east in either AZ or UT that is spectacular with those red cliffs and the highway up on stilts for a while... But I can't remember where.. can you help me find it, or do you have video through there by any chance? It was magnificent! Thanks!
That would be the I-15 going Northeast from Las Vegas. The section you are talking about is once you enter Arizona and just past Littlefield. It's on that small stretch of 15 just before you enter Utah. It's called Virgin River Canyon. I've been an OTR driver for 25 plus years and run that route regularly. Hope this helps, take care.

Surprisingly you guys Up the mountain Don’t have all your tires studded for better traction on ice person have to change them in the summer but it helps a lot
They need to come up with a way for you to print out your elog. Is is possible to screen shot and save each log to the cloud?
