To Big Jet TV, Jerry Dyer, and Gilly - great video today! Looking forward to the one on Wednesday as well. See you tomorrow in your next video. From your number one fan, Peter xxx
Fascinating to see on the 777 that the outboard flaps are not lowered much vs the inboards and that the outboard ailerons are crowed - I do that on my scale RC airliners but had no idea the trip7 employs crow on landing - unlike the Airbus 330/350/340 ailerons which droop to assist the flaps - but the 320 ailerons crow too - never noticed that....love it!
To big jet tv Jerry Dyer and Gilly good video today and video on Wednesday good video see you tomorrow on your next video from your number one fan Peter xxx 👍✋️❤️❤️🏆✈️
On Poseidon the raked wingtips push the vortices outward and away from trailing refueling jets and also minimize vortices - there are also some practical benefits for maintenance of the raked wingtips vs vertical or split winglets, they did some research on winglets on Airbus' C295 (ex CASA) which is being offered and utilised in a variety of military and maritime roles but retained the raked wing tips on the tanker version
when an aircraft flies through the air, the affect of particles, such as precipitation, dust, or sand may cause an electrical charge to build up on the aircraft. Static electricity refers to the spark or point discharges that occur when the electric charge difference between the aircraft and its surroundings become large enough."
Well, can honestly say that it might have taken a while but I have all caught up with the streams now and bang up to date Great action from LHR Jerry and GP, loved the reverser action on the slick tarmac and to finish things off with a queen is just the cherry on top
I know that feeling! I've watched every single hour of content Jerry has ever posted. I feel envious of those starting fresh and have that back catalogue!
The increased lift and decreased drag will cause your aircraft to seem to hover in the air near the ground, maintaining its speed and altitude longer than it otherwise would. Mick

LOL, a guy that doing commentary on Airport Arrivals, brilliant...
I love your commentary! Unfortunately, when ever I have been to Heathrow I have never had the chance to do any proper planespotting.
Something very different to wake up to
I knew youd go out and do a bonus show🎉!
On the stream from Orlando, Fl. MCO
57:45 No such thing, man makes up physics there. Ground effect is normally generation of lift due to reduction of induced drag.
1:28:37 I was there. Landing
Missed the stream never got notification
💙💙💙💯
You're killin it
Not seen a stream from the paddock for ages. Does Jerry not use that location any longer?
