This reminds me of when I was a young teen and we would go to the drive-in theater. When a rain storm blew through dad would turn off the speakers and we would sit there and listen to the rain until they started up the movie again. Sometimes it would be late when we all got home. What made it so exciting was my mom would pack a picnic basket and dad would make a run to the snack box for cokes to have along with our sandwiches mom made. He would get back in the car and make sure we all got a few drops of the rain off his hat on us. Fun family times. Thanks for the memories!

Yeah playing video games will keep your mind racing you'll never sleep. I used to play Vice City and Metal Gear Solid all night sessions when I was 20. Once my head hit the pillow I was still seeing the game in my mind it kept me from sleeping properly. I don't game much now I'm 43. Miss it I love games, but now it makes my eyes hurt and makes me run to toilet every ten mins that's the bad nerves gaming makes worse. Games are awesome fun, but they are not good for your mentally health and are addictive. All that shit catches up with you lad once you hit your 40s.
Never look at Facebook or play games if ur stressed. I'd suggest turn phone off get into bed, make sure room is really dark. Make sure everything is off before I get into bed.
I used to car camp on a street in Cincinnati that somewhat resembles this street. I've heard many types of rain on car acoustics - this is by far the closest per my memory. Love it
Of all the sleeping videos I've watched over the years, this one I always come back to. It's my favourite because all the other videos you'll find the rain is at the same pace because it's computer driven. But the real rain you loved hitting off your bedroom window at night when you were a kid wasn't in the same rhythm or perfect harmony. It had flaws and unequal spashes and patterns, just like this sound here. Accurate this is.

At 28:37 the lights in the white car on the right side turns back on. At 28:44 the left door on the white car open.At 29:15 the owner of the white car steps out of the car. 29:35 he opens the back, and closes it again at 30:44. At 31:08 he opens the left door, and closes it again at 31:34, and goes to the right side of the car.At 32:00 the backlights on the car blinks a bright White light 3 times. At 33:13 the red lights turns off. I need a life...

It didn't take long, during our Pacific NW rainy season, before I was actually going outside to the car just to lay back in the seat, close my eyes and listen to the rain. This is a very unique rain sound, and I think it's much more soothing than some that just make it seem like you're outdoors in a thunderstorm for some reason. This makes me think of a night out camping, suddenly having to run from the cheap tent to the car because the temperature dropped ten degrees and the rain picked up and no one thought to put up a tarp... and eventually you just fall asleep there, cozy with your sleeping bag. This is a very unique rain sound, and I think it's much more soothing than some that just make it seem like you're outdoors in a thunderstorm for some reason. This makes me think of a night out camping, suddenly having to run from the cheap tent to the car because the temperature dropped ten degrees and the rain picked up and no one thought to put up a tarp... and eventually you just fall asleep there, cozy with your sleeping bag.

This was finally one that I could listen to and fall asleep to. All the other sounds of rain just sound like static and it gets annoying after a couple minutes. I could never fall asleep to them, and this one just knocked me out. :D
Michael Frymus i literally cant listen to other rain vids anymore because this one made my standarts to high! but i had the same problem with rain vids as you had i also really missed the deepersounsing thumbs of the big raindrops cuz those are the most relaxing to me and nost vids dont have that at all or its not noticeble.

Sounds more like rain on a car roof than some other loops that foreground a splashy sound. Love the percussive feel of rain drops on the car roof. One of my favorite sleep loops.

Idk something about being the youngest and being brought along with older cousins and siblings . It’s just nice now that I’m a older teen and when I go out with them and after a good day then it rains while they r driving just brings a nice ambience .

This is perhaps the only video I found with real rain in a car, all the other videos are made with fake rain or with lots of lightning, this video is perfect thank you very much (en plus The intensity of the rain is perfect too, neither too noisy nor too weak perfect ) :)
