- This is one of four videos which was featured on ZBrush Central as part of the Building a Better Demo Reel in ZBrush article.
This video covers tips and tricks on how to get great wireframe renders out of ZBrush.
I love how you explain the steps, they are very clear, concise and straight to the point without leaving out any important details - which makes it easy to understand and enjoyable to follow. Kudos to you Steve!
I wish all tutorials could be this clear, thank you so much Steve!

Thanks! I really appreciate that!
Really usefull tutorial! Needed it for some school assignments + for mastering Zbrush. Only thing that kinda ruined my experience was the terrible quality of the video. Luckily you discribed everything verbally well enough for me to follow.
Keep these coming!
Thanks! I really appreciate that! :)
very useful!
thanks a lot this video very helping to me !
Thank you for your vid....
The easiest way is to go to the Document menu and choose Export. This will save whatever is on the canvas as a PSD. The other way is to save out your render pass. You can do this in the Render menu. The location will depend on which version of ZBrush you're using. In 4R5, it's in the Render | BRP RenderPass menu. Just do a BPR, then click on the Shaded icon in the menu to specify a save location.
Thank You Sir....
Thank you kindly.
+Peter Peter You're welcome. :) Glad I could help!
The first thing to do is figure out which industry you want to work in. Is it games, television, feature film, military simulation, medical imaging, architectural visualization, print advertising or something entirely different? Once you've answered that question, you will need to start creating work that suits the need of that industry. Look at the reels posted on the company sites that you want to work at. Then get a reel together that shows you are capable of that type of work. :)
Man i wish i had used more the Subdivide features because clicking the Low All button does nothing :(
There's one problem I'm encountering with and it's that I'm not able to sub devide to the lowest devision
360p! Nice. Who knew that in the future we'd have resolutions like 480p and higher! If only Steve could've seen the future! If ONLY!!!!
Hi I could use some help here. I follow you step by step here and my model will not fill in with white. I try to manually poly paint it white it still will not paint. There is no sub tools just one model, and I am in RGB my RGB intensity is all the way up and I cannot figure out why I cannot paint. any ideas?
I also have extracted the poly paint as a texture before this
If I had to guess, I'd say that your texture is turned on in the Tool | Texture Map menu. If you open that up and the Texture On button is highlighted, turn it off. Textures supersede vertex colors (polypaint). If a texture is turned on, you won't see any polypaint data, even though it's actually there. Try checking that and let me know if it solves the problem. :)
Duh! Okay yay that fixed it! Thank you!! New to zbrush! Thanks for helping!
bl0odymadnes My pleasure! Cheers!
