Thanks! Glad you like how they turned out. I think its the colour combinations. They're not what I would have gone with on any other models, but doing this and going from reference materials really made me appreciate using different colours in fantasy minis.
I think because I'm a lazy painter and never go over the first layer, I've not really experience the reactivation. I did once when I went over a brown with a metallic, and my silver turned bronze, but apart from that my laziness has paid off 😂
I am using matt varnish to seal the colours in, so you can add another layer without fear of destroying your previous work. This reactivation can really work your favour when you try to blend in 2 colours.
Same. They feel so small but they really have a good amount of detail without being stupidly over complicated. Also, I didn't realise how much I missed painting metal minis!
They look great! One of the best examples of Army Painter Speed paints in action that I've seen.

I just watched the Peter Jackson trilogy last week; was happy to see these minis. The new series on Amazon? It hasn;t won me over yet.
I've not watched any yet as I've been away for work. Now I'm back I'm going to check it out.
I have contrast paint, speed paint and now buying dipp inks.
I like the colors of the speed paint but i hate the reactivation 😭

These look so good, great job!
What colour is your dry brush for the highlights? Is it equal to zandri dust for example?
I'm really tempted to pick up some of the speed paints for the SC seraphon box I'll be picking up this christmas, anyway great video and editing!
Thanks, glad you liked it! Speedpaints are such a great tool and you can get some really great results from them with little effort.
I like those models

You're missing 2 members of the fellowhship
I know 😭 I think I mentioned it in the video, but I'd painted those ones when I was younger, but never these.
