My favorite thing about your videos is that you never stop speaking what you're doing, no matter the presence of a copilot or not. Never stop doing that. Aspiring airline pilots of tomorrow are growing up on videos like this, and you're setting a great example. It was also fun to notice your copilot go from what I thought was just a passenger, to someone you'd hand the yoke to, to realizing that actually she's done this before and indeed you're utilizing that experience. The CRM looked excellent and I'm so glad that videos like this exist for the benefit of us all.

"Welcome to Oshkosh!" Well done ladies. Great series of videos. About 40-odd years ago(!) -- long before cell phones, GPS and ADS-B -- I dead-reckoned my way from Fair Oaks, CA to the Watsonville (WVI) fly-in on a beautiful May morning. Nothing like Oshkosh, but still quite an adventure for a then-17-year old! Apart from the day's flying demonstrations, antiques and homebuilts, and the camaraderie of the other fly-in participants, what I remember most was the temporary tower's instruction (instead of orange dot/green dot): "Cessna on short final, land on the left side of the runway; Mooney behind the Cessna, land on the right!" Compared to my home field, that runway was huge!
Great video! My son and I flew the Chicago skyline a day or so before you, also in a V-Tail. We had slower traffic in front of us and had to go with flaps to stay slow enough. Your comment on easier to maintain 90kts with the gear down is so true. V-Tails are awesome! Y'all have amazing radio work, knowledge, and flows. Perfect example of professional flying.
You make it seem so easy and effortless while you are flying through bazillion checks while also literally flying like a perfectionist. Great job! Wonderful job on the video editing part as well.
Really learning a lot listening to your radio calls. I love that you are friendly and polite. Don't hear much of that very often. Radio communication is intimidating enough for a new pilot with all the attitude, in my opinion.
So amazing to see young girls having fun, and being so competent on flying. I´ve never been in this event, but I have some friends that fly from Brazil to there in a RV6 and RV9 .
After starting the flight training process in 2003, marital issues sidelined the whole thing. I have just now begun to be interested again, and I will be honest, the radio is the biggest reason I am still in limbo. You girls made it look so easy and fun. Thanks for sharing.
Please don't let the radio intimidate you! If you're close to an airport, buy a relatively inexpensive portable radio or scanner with airband coverage and listen as often as you can. It is so rewarding to see young women involved and enthralled with aviation.. everytime I watch your videos it brings back memories of flying with my father. In my early childhood packed into the backseat if our old B model Bonanza and heading back to Pistol Creek Ranch. (GOOGLE IT) where we had and still have a cabin. Landing on a narrow dirt strip. My father and his partner have long since passed away. His Partner Dennis owned the Beechcraft dealership in Boise. So we often flew an array of used and occasionally new Beachcrafts which was fun as a kid, everything from early Bonanza's, to twin-Bonanza's, Travel-Airs, and Barons. As a a kid I really liked the Barons constantly bugging my father that he and Dennis should get one of those, having no understanding of the cost factors of a twin. I know my mother always felt more relaxed in the Baron knowing her family had the extra security of two engines. My father flew for West Coast Airlines (GOOGLE them) flying DC3'S for the first ten thousand hours, then Fairchilds F27 for the next 10,000hrs, then by the time I was in my early teens he had moved into the DC9 which he loved, especially the little Dash-10 which had the same engines as the much heavier Dash-30. During all this he had racked up over 6000 hrs in various Beechcraft flying Charters, demo flights for potential buyers, ferrying flights from the factory out to the different dealerships, or aerial photography for the Idaho dept of Aeronautical maping and aerial navigation. So Stevie watching you slowly in time master your Bonanza brings back wonderful memories of my youth that was filled with aviation. If I were to ask my father to pass on any pearls I think he would say, always fully know and understand what yor altitude and air density is. You see the airstrip at Pistol Creek is 4860 ft above sea-level and that's at standard temperature. Now make it 80+ degrees out and your density altitude is over 7500 feet. "Let's call it quits and leave this to the more experienced pilots!"

Had to pause somewhere around 12:16 @ safely touching down, "not that I had any doubts of an unsafe landing", just was compelled to voice my totally awesome experience flying with you girls! Continue the safe flights & I will be subbing to enjoy more, thanks!
This deserves more views. Oshkosh is a chaotic approach and you both made it seem like a cake walk. Great video.
Great video, great flying, I love how the steering controls can move from one pilot to the other, I wish my car could do that :) plus the v shaped tv antenna on top is a plus:)
I'm curious if you can tell me more about the word OSHKOSH, is it related to aviation in any way?
You’re an inspiration to my wife and kids. Awesome channel! Love the vtail!
Super impressive. My father had a license but none of the confidence and competence that you exhibit. I'm inspired to fly.
Great team, great prep, great use of terrain and I’m sure a great Osh Kosh time. Thanks for the video.
Recently I was scouring for aviation novels in my kindle and surprise surprise, aviation videos starts popping up in my recommendations in YT. This was a super pleasant video to watch, I had no clue flying could be this casual. Somehow I always pictured lots of notepads, helmets and overalls!
Great vid. I’ve seen hundreds of “I’m flying to OSH” vids but you ladies were fun. Your airmanship and COM skills are impeccable. Looking forward to more.
Heeey yeas ladies!!! 🙌🏻 from one lady who’s never bothered to listen to anyone who said … woman “can’t” to two other women who clearly get it…it was a pleasure to watch you two take off and land!
I’m glad I’m not the only one who forgets who I’m talking to and just says “approach” 😂
Love your videos. Your positive attitude + cool music = good vibes. You've inspired me to learn to fly - a long overdue dream of mine.
This is so awesome. I would love to go to EAA but as a low time pilot I don't have the confidence. You two were fun to watch!
Thank you for sharing that adventure. Great video!
I really enjoyed this. You both have very lively personalities, but as soon as you're on the mic it's business. How you can switch that fast and smooth is neat!
This is a dream! I love everything about this, I am so jelly! Keep up the great work. Maybe make a video of how someone like me could start to fly and start the journey!
I hope when I start teaching as a CFI I have students as cool as you. Just looks like you're having so much fun. Nice flying!
Excellent job Ladies. Thank you for the video
You two are a great team! This was cool.
I grew up in oshkosh and always hated living in the city during eaa but its so cool to see the pilots side/experience of the week!
Well done with the preparation, communication, and checklists.
Y'all should consider entering the Air Race Classic next year.
Girl you are THE badass OMG 😱 just discover this chanel and my mins just craqued…. So glad i discovered your vid’s and so so glad to show my mom that our generation is just killing it oh WoW!!!
Please continue 😍
That was FUN! Totally beats watching TikTok’s of Alabama Rush Week.
You friend Emma seems to have incredible vision, she sees everything. Nice to have a copilot helping out with the workload on a stressful approach like that. I'd like to think that Cessna pilot eventually got his gear down :).
lol at the traffic controller "cessna keep decending" "cessna you need your gear to land" lmao
Great To see an Awesome General Avaition Flight Video and Subscribed. Ohhh Luv the V Tail good ol ruddervator
How do you only have three videos? This was amazing! Great editing and am anxious to see more! You made Oshkosh look easy!
According to the comments she’s big on tictok
@@theroarin420s8 that makes since, was way too good to be the first, thanks!
T
Awesome video - so nice to hear all the ATC communication! Well done!
Brilliant work there. Loved the call out to the another plane landing behind you.
"You need your gear down to land!" 😂
Oskosh is a hoot! Glad you got to experience it. Two pilots are better than one, at AirVenture, although you seem very at ease with the radio. At ease with your Bo, as well. Bos are confidence inspiring. Good aircraft. Oh, and when you are instructed to rock your wings, you do a fine job!
Got a kick out of ATC "you need your gear down to land." LOL!
Airspeed up in the turns, Godspeed!
I like how you do GUMPS 3 times, that’s how I was taught too. Nice bonanza, N688B.
