Hey Josh. Love your video. This brought tears to my eyes. My dad flew many flights with me out of the Detroit area back in the late 80’s and early 90’s. He passed in 1999. He never completed his Pilots Cert. but enjoyed flying with me in his later years. In 1991 I flew formation like you did with friends to Oshkosh. Was Vectored over Ripon and up past the rock cory. Brought back so many wonderful memories watching your video. Our flight directly over Lake Michigan was pretty amazing. Keep your videos coming. They are touching my heart. I’m 51 and haven’t flown in over 20 years. I’m living vicariously through your eyes. Thank you.

LOVE the da Vinci quote! It Perfectly embodies the "Flying Bug".
Thank you SO MUCH for pulling the music down during aircraft footage, so we can hear the magic of those wonderful engines! SO many editors have NO consideration for the classic sounds of them; it's nice to be able to hear.
Josh, all in all, a Professional production! Thanks! Can't wait for Part 2.

Excellent video!!!!! You commentary in the beginning is so on point and descriptive as to why we love aviation. I wanted to attend Oshkosh this year. However, after using majority of my money to finish up my Private training, which I received my ticket in June, I didn't have the funds to fly up this year. I am already starting my trip planning for next year!
Love the videos as always. I even started recording my flying largely in part from watching your channel and have my own channel! I'm also a Patreon of yours. Looking forward to more videos!!!!

Nice! I've been waiting for your post! What a thrill it was to be able to fly our Tiger with my son for the very first time to Oshkosh. It is one of the moments in my life that I will cherish for a very long time. It looks like you and your dad also had a lot of fun! We were there from Friday, July 28th - Sunday, July 30th. We flew from Denver, Colorado KBJC to Merril, Wisconsin KRRL on Thursday, July 27th and stayed overnight with some friends who put us up in their home. The only weather we had was some low ceilings coming out of KBJC back in Denver which lasted all the way through Wray, Colorado and into parts of Nebraska. Other than that, it was an eventful and fun flight! Looking forward to seeing more of your coverage. I'm just starting to sift through our photos and videos to post something up on TH-cam as well. Probably won't be as high quality as your presentations, but it'll be something to share. Safe skies!

Very well done. Probably one of the best vids on Oshkosh so far. Looking forward to the next one. How lucky you are to have made such a trip with your father and have been able to share that life experience with him.

Congrats to this amazing video! I had goosebumps all 16 min. and I don't know what excites me more: enjoying to fly with your dad, flying into Oshkosh in formation, or or or! Greetings from Germany and can't wait until part two comes out! When will you be ready?? Regards, Christoph
