Good question. My guess is no impact because the suction is holding onto the cars truck through the wrap but you should check with Seasucker to be safe.

That orange piece to attach your front wheel to the back is awful. It disproportionately offsets the weight causing pulling/lifting of the suction cup on the opposite side.
Thanks for watching! The instructions were not customized for the Tesla glass roof but Seasucker did reach out via Instagram to let me know it should be mounted on the back glass, not the top glass.
Seasucker said the top glass is weaker than the back glass which is why they recommend mounting on back glass and truck. I prefer the Tesla roof rack and my Yakima HighSpeed bike rack.

Hello all, was wondering if the suction strength on the back unit is affected if your car trunk is wrapped? Can the wrap peel off? Just wondering.
