Really nice job on it. I am doing a rolling resto on a z650 and want to try to do it just like you did. Would you be so kind and share the specs on the paints and flakes?
Just for the record, I have a 73 Z1 in rootbeer/orange that's still got the factory paint. Not true that they narrowed out the pin striping where it goes behind the filler opening to make it fit. The lines are the same width behind the filler opening as they are everywhere else on the tank.
Nice job, hopefully I’ll get my tank ducktail and side covers done on my 73 Z1

Sorry, this is not my work, Ralph at Paintworkz in the US can supply what you need though.
NICE ! Did you mask this out or have it done elsewhere ? Can you point me in the direction of the masking process ?
Nice work!
Bravo Master!😊
Great job! Do you happen to have a video of the masking process as well?
Sorry, no.
Aww. Anyway this video is a lot of help for my zephyr 1100 build. Great job!👍🏻
Hi. May I know what brand of paint did you use and how to come up with the candy orange color?
Hi it’s me again. May I ask what do you call the ‘transparent orange’ paint you used? I cant source it here in my country.
Flake gets real hot here in the summer and cooks the paint.

I have 3 sets of factory paint, the stripe narrows on them all.
