This is the best rebuild/repair channel on youtube by far!! That include Mat Armstrong and Tavarish. You are so entertaining and fun to watch so keep it up and thanks for this one from Sweden🇸🇪
Not really. He really fails to show the detail work, and the most important replacements. So what you always get is an abbreviated fix. Good channel for entertainment, but not to learn about fixing stuff.
Keep up the great videos. Stopped watching many other channels when they got more subscribers and moved away from what got them their subscribers in the first place. Congrats on the baby, and for having a fully supportive wife who joins in your car games and dancing!
That was a great rebuild/repair. Watched the series of you doing it, just watched one, forgot how entertaining you can be at times. Keep it up, the jaguar repair is entertaining for those that have not watched it.
Mate I love your enthusiasm and dedication you come across as a genuine chap which I’m sure a lot of people enjoy watching keep up the good work and content coming
I do love watching your videos, I find myself chuckling often at your struggles and issues as I have had the exact same struggles and issues when fiddling with my cars. Keep the content coming.
One of my best. I laughed so much at your woes (sorry) I'm restoring a car from top to bottom and have no experience so I really feel your pain with putting things back wrong, buying the wrong parts etc. I can totally relate what you're going through. I also own a XF and knowing someone else gets equally frustrated by smashing your head on the boot latch make me feel I'm not alone! Great work, please keep it up!!
Me personally, I would have had a bit of a try with some chemical rust converter on those little bits just to keep them at bay . And the tail lights l would have put a mild tint on them, nothing drastic, just subtle to camouflage the imperfections and discrepancies. Really enjoying the content though, glad l found your channel. Congratulations on the new baby Best wishes and god bless you and your family 🙏🏻
Looking forward to seeing this all in one go, just sat down to watch it when the missus informs me, we need to go an pick up my daughters prom dress. Aaaarrrrgh bugger, will pick this back up later. I've already seen all of the posts you've put out, I'm just wondering if there will be any bonus content. Plus I'm sure there will be bits I've forgotten about. You're other half has the patience of a saint.
Progress is a wonderful thing, delighted your going full time man, best of luck to you and the little family I hope it all works out it’s well deserved, The man child element will never be lost even in a shed with a two post ramp, us car blokes never grow up really, that’s what makes it relatable so don’t fear the progress, And the wife’s support criticism and celebrations have to remain for the entertainment value
I'm honestly envious at countries where you can buy salvaged cars and restore it back to good working order. Here in Malaysia, once it's declared as scrap, it's scrap & there's no way of getting the car back on the road even if the car can be restored to good working order.
Use IPA as it desolves the glue on the tapedid tou changed the transmision fluid???? Maybe the fluid was low or fouled and driving it like that killed it
Nice mechanic work sir! Of course we both know that your girl's "driving dance" was accepted by the ancient British gods of industry and allowed your work to be effective! And of course it needed Stanley's approval, which he obviously gave!
❤ I watched all videos for that Range Rover before and again I enjoyed every second from that full video.. I love what you do and I love watching your videos..wishing you all the best and to be the trend in TH-cam❤
Great advice funny no mention of mg lifetime battery warranty..... and don't jump on brakes find car park drive engage neutral then use. brakes do this a few times cleans discs much better than jumping on brakes on open roads lol but can't wait to see follow up 👍👍👍👍
When doing those types of oil and fuel filters, use a 2 or 5 litre empty water bottle cut in half ready next to the filter as you remove it, then drop the oily filter into it. the top half makes a great catch can and funnel if you remove the lid!
Very interesting to watch but you can buy a very good 10/11/12 plate at auction for less than £4k so why go to all this trouble? Does TH-cam really pay that well?
@@Duffy3074 Thats what I was implying. The whole process of sorting the car out is not viable at all but filming it and bunging it on TH-cam must be very lucrative indeed.
I'm subscribed with notifications, but this video didn't show up until a day later and isn't visible on my subscription page, not sure what's going on there
How many people are there on TH-cam or The WWW (Internet) making a range Rover BETTER and making money out of it..... A huge number I guess.... a huge!!
You smell burning the car runs ruff, and you do not stop wtf. The brakes lies on brake fluid cooks the tranfer gears and the tork converter works incredible hard eventualy something gives up. Sums up. Stop in time fix the problem and do not destroy the car. Now change brake fluid renovate the brake cylinders resurface the brake disks and check the wheel bearings. Now when tha car i rolling freeley and the brakes work properly then you can fix everything else.
Copart must've been shill bidders there 😂😂😂 only worth scrap value. Paid nearly 2k then windscreens scuttle panel dash frame wings etc. And loads more later great content though. No offense 😂

Agreed.
Sarah -n- Tuned is an A+ channel aswell
I totally agree with you 👍 also for me it’s a real car that I can relate to. Although I love watching hyper cars this is so much more relatable 🤙🏻
Salvage rebuilds Chris and rob even better
Not really. He really fails to show the detail work, and the most important replacements. So what you always get is an abbreviated fix. Good channel for entertainment, but not to learn about fixing stuff.
I certainly do enjoy watching someone else struggle like a normal person. Keep up the good work mate!

Thank you for no bad language, I watch with my 11 year old son
No worries. Hope you enjoyed 👍🏻

Your face when you dropped the VIN plaque had me wetting myself, such good entertainment! Keep up the great work!
Well done Nino. The relief you obviously felt when all of your hard work paid off was lovely to see.

epic. i'd never seen the pre-gearbox replacement episodes so it seems to have been a bit of a journey!!

You did a great job on this car and without a workshop and/or huge budget

Glass is a absolute nightmare to get completely out of all the orifices of a vehicle. Have a bit of experience on this. 😊

I am watching this in Australia. Enjoying this. I need to see how much money you spent all together

Love the content, been watching a while and I could be wrong but you might need a left hand thread wind back tool for off side rear calliper
thank you for a fun and intresting car build.
great content and a real person
Just discovered you on TH-cam. Great videos, mate. Congratulations on your new baby boy.
Great work weldone great to watch your channel
Funny you popped up to mention the ramps just as I was thinking that's probably not a good idea 😂
Watched this an d the Jag. Worth subscribing so I did. You're ok, mate. Cheers.
Haha that dance, tell us you are a pair of old school ravers without telling us you're a pair of old school ravers 🎉😂
Greetings from Sydney ... Well done, mate!

great work. New favourite channel.
I feel your pain Nev, with cleaning the car 😆😆
when it's done I reckon you should change the lettering from RANGE ROVER to ANGER ROVER.
Nice one. so glad it worked
Just for future sticky stuff residue mate ,spray or wipe on with WD40 leave for a couple of mins and it just wipes off brother.
Why didn’t you get a decent Xtool or Autel scanner that does gearbox relearn?
Congrats mate, well done. Cheers.
yes, looking forward to this one
Another awesome vid guys - and I love fries too :-)
Looks like it's gone under the back of a high Lorry mate...cheers/// Good one...

What was the total you put into the car in the end 🤔
Great video just don’t know how you kept going with everything going wrong. Looks amazing in the end though.
Did you add all vehicle repairs to the sum of cars bid I'd love to know the cost plus the cost of repairs
Heat gun on windscreen to slitely warm up the sealant... makes life easier
re 22mm wheelnuts, consider a 7/8” wheel nut socket , solved the same priblem with my Tesla Model S
ZF Gear usually makes very good drive systems. Am surprised that this gearbox failed at 118k. 😮😮😮😢😢😢😢
Amazing bro Amazing .
Great watching
Can you perhaps source a Motorsport shell?
Can anyone explain why anyone would take a vehicle for a MOT while missing a windscreen wiper? Absolutely nuts!
Unknown history?
Gotta be cam belt / chain first.
You could have brought it back with a cheap Amazon charger it uses pulse
Very interesting to watch but you can buy a very good 10/11/12 plate at auction for less than £4k so why go to all this trouble? Does TH-cam really pay that well?
Where’s the entertainment value in somebody buying a sensible and fully working car from an auction? 😂

Hair dryer or warm water makes it easy to peel off why struggle
Great TH-cam videos, I really enjoy them
My wife asks, how does your wife put up with it? 😂
There is a lot of oil on the drive😂

Wearing goggles with glass,is vital .
Aw sorry for your loss.
😢where's the jag
i think it's a wheel or a tree.
Invest in a small car transporter. If you are serious about doing this for a living fella.
👌👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
First Comment Oi Oi
Sure, it looks nice but it's an old Range Rover. It will always be unreliable piece of crap.
Get yourself an electric pump
You smell burning the car runs ruff, and you do not stop wtf.

Stopped wachting Armstrong a long time ago. Became too commercial. More of the same sensations.
Rust is a combination of bad manufacturing, bad installers bad enginering and bad car owners
To Stanley Marsh!🥂
