Are you still happy with your Nissan Sentra? I just test drove one today and put a deposit down it's a new 2020 SV for $20,725 normally $22,225 $1500 total in Nissan rebates. Just trying to decide between the Toyota Corolla, Nissan Sentra and the Hyundai Elantra definitely leaning towards the Sentra.

I like the Nissan Sentra very very much but........ the Corolla will prevail in the long run. I drive a Corolla and the thing doesn't break. And no , I really don't feel in love with it but.... the Corolla is like the loyal wife you are not in love with but you never ever divorce.
After driving SUVs since 2004, I bought a compact car - the 2021 Nissan Sentra SR Premium Package in Super Black. It’s a nice-looking, fuel-efficient car! Love the Premium Package’s sporty extras - moonroof, Bose sound system, LED headlights, 18” aluminium alloy wheels, etc. No qualms about the CVT (now, third generation), and I never considered the Corolla. I don’t like the look of the Toyotas, but love my new Nissan Sentra.
I got a 2020 Sentra and after one yr no complaints, excelent car. My service advisor at the dealership said to change the transmission oil at 30,000 miles to be on safe side
Not new at all. It’s pretty common for northerners to say it like that. My grandfather was from Minnesota/Wisconsin and he and a lot of his family said it like that.
The Corolla is the world's best selling vehicle for a reason. Over 66M sold. It's consistently been a far more reliable vehicle with much better resale.
Thanks for posting this and giving me some things to consider. I bought my 2010 Corolla brand new after a bad experience with a 2004 Sentra. I like the specs of the new Sentra but I'm not sure if I can convince myself to try another Nissan.
I bought a 2010 Nissan Sentra in 2010, loved it, great car! Just traded it in last week for a 2021 Sentra SR with the premium package. Loving it so far!

The Sentra looks classier especially in SR trim. If I were to get the Corolla, it would be the hatchback. I just can't stand the cheap looking plastic interior and feel. So Sentra for me. I only wish Nissan would bring back their SE-R for this and the Altima.

My parents just bought me the Sentra SV for my 17th birthday a couple months ago but the 2020 version I love it !! The Corolla looks terrible in my opinion.

The difference is after 100,000 miles, the Corolla will still be running without any problems, as for the Nissan will have a blown head gasket and clunky transmission.
I have owned 6 Nissans and have zero problems with the nissans. Can not say the same for the toyota’s I have owned. I had AC problems with two toyotas. Normally things that come standard in Nissans are extra cost options in Toyota. I have to wonder if the negative comments on Nissan are made by people who actually owned a Nissan.
@@carsunlocked please review also the ground clearance , it is a big issue i always hit the underneath of front bumper when i come out from gas station or restaurant plaza. I never had that with Honda civic or even kia
The Nissan engine has more durability than the Toyota engine, since the Nissan engine is manufactured directly in the Yokohama plant, the Corolla engine is manufactured outside of Japan.
Sentra looks better but Corolla is built better and will last way longer, Nissan has always been fairly well in aesthetics and kinda lacked in quality tho imo
sentra has more features and fun to drive. I just felt that the Sentra consumed gas more than even my camry. plus just felt some quality issues with Sentra. it started to give a weird sound which was actually increasing intensity with time. definitely the features are better in Sentra and looks better but Corolla has established its reputation as a durable car. And yes the transmission was great in Sentra.
@@carsunlocked Really like my Versa. Coming from a 2011 Sentra, it is like driving a Cadillac. I was very hesitant to get another car with a CVT, but the CVT's apparently have come along way. It is so much more refined than the 2011 Sentra.
I too am trying to decide on either of the Sentra or the Corolla or the Kia forte is also mix too so I need help from you guys would be really appreciated this is a very hard decision on my part

For my first sentra I got the air packs malfunction and the next one the driving safety alerts malfunction. 😏 Im kinda afraid of 2021 Nissan Sentra malfunction. It's strange, my father-in-law has 200,000 km on his Sentra and I only change tires and services, there's a reason people sell Corollas with low km
