So I bought the 2018 Nissan Sentra and I have heard about the issues regarding the transmission on older Sentra models. I definitely do love the new 2020 Sentra look, however, what is the deal with the transmission? Do people have issues with the transmission because of how they ride or operate vehicle or is this a manufacture problem? Would hate to trade in my 2018 for the 2020 Sentra if I might still experience transmission issues. By the way, I stumbled upon your channel/videos and you are doing a great job. Very informative.
hey Efrain thanks for commenting. I appreciate the love brother! And its hard to say about the transmission. I have yet to have any customers have transmission issues with the 2018. The issue was in the 2013 -2016 models. Is it to early? potentially but I wouldn't trade your 18 in anytime soon. You will lose to much money just on trade in value alone. You would most like lose more then the price of a brand new transmission.

I'd take the Sentra over Elantra any day. The Sentra is more upscale with features of a Maxima or Infiniti. Better design as nothing wrong with the Elantra like that car as Hyundai is doing well still Sentra all day for me. Nissan seems to be getting on right track same goes for the new Rogue while sedans and crossovers are getting better saw a 2021 Pathfinder looks good, rear has to grow on me.

Its me again.. funny that I keep fining videos im looking for in your channel ! Can you please make a comparison video of 2021 Hyundai smart sense vs nissan propilot ? So far I see hyundai (tuscon) has 2-3 more features.. junction turn assist, dashcam, blind view monitor. Wondering how it stacks up against the nissan package

Is Nissan still having trouble with their cvt transmission?
It's definitely the nicer looking vehicle.
they have made improvements to the cvt however only time will tell
I had 2017 sentra and transmission went so bad at 55k . Nissan replaced was under warranty. Head Lights are way better on Hyundai than sentra.
Get the Sentra SR manual.
