    Nice to see somebody using benchmark barrels on their hunting rifle. Good people at benchmark barrels. I have worked with them in Help make their puzzle breaks and barrel work. Love the channel keep up the good work.

    What a great looking rifle. Something I did this season is bought an extra mag and have it preloaded for faster follow up shots if needed. Good luck this season

      On that note- the magazine. MDT makes a 3 round polymer that would sit almost flush in that stock and will not rattle around in there like the metal AICS magazines do. Allows you to hold the rifle around the mag well when carrying it, which is more of a central balance point making the rig perceivably much lighter to carry. They work great unless you are really handloading a long round, in which case the metal ones seem to allow for a longer bullet due to the fact they can make the metal thinner than the polymer and still retain a rigid frame.

    I got a new trick I'm doing this year for my sunshade on my scope. I removed the one it comes with. And am now using a Koozie. When I don't need a Sunshade I have it slid back. When I need it. I just slide it forward. It needs to be the good poly type. May need to adjust the thread stitches so it will be nice and snug. It is a few oz. less as well. Its pretty sweet... Because its there when you need it. And its there when you don't need it. Hope to run into you guys this year during high buck hunt. And possibly during Elk. The wife and I both got drawn for Cow Tags this year.

    Thanks for sharing your upgrades to your sweet rifle. Definitely a killer rig. If only Aero Precision offered it in left hand as an option.
    Good luck 🍀 out there this fall 😃🐻🦌

    Nice set up, have you looked at the hatch bipod? Absolutely the best bipod out there. From prone to kneeling any position. And then can use it on any rifle with a pic rail.

      I bought a Hatch this spring and I'm really looking forward to using it this year. It's admittedly a little heavy, but if you can't get a few extra ounces in, you can't get a buck/bull out. Just my arrogant opinion.

    Not sure of the legal situation in WA but if possible a silencer is a huge game changer and the weight is negligible for what you get.

    Where you at with the suppressors? I added that to my set up this year and I’m never going back. And I love the 7saum move. I wanted to rebarrel my 30-06 to 280ai, the long action brother to 7saum but couldn’t muster up the courage with years past ammo shortages. I’m a bit jealous of the 7mm calibers.

    When I first pulled this up I was thinking to myself - "That's the first time I've seen someone put the dog's vest on top of his rifle". Nice rig you have hidden under there.
    Seeing as this is a build you mean to pack and put that muzzle brake on there, do you plan on wearing ear pro for the entire time you are packing it, or chance spooking game fumbling for it prior to taking a shot?
    I've got a 7PRC and 300 PRC that shoot lights out- both of them have muzzle brakes. They sit in the safe while I grab a lesser rifle with no muzzle brake every time. The ear pro with hunting just seems to be such a hassle. Who wants to sit all day wearing ear pro until it gives you a headache and ruins your hunt.
    It's worse in Canada, where our idiotic laws prohibit suppressors.
    Thanks for the Video!

      @PNWild  4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@TheReallyPleasedDoge I (Bob) just wear the lightweight ear pro around my neck until it’s time to shoot. Takes me a few seconds to plug my ears and it’s never been an issue

      @pnwild, you should check out the mtngear bipod. Super lightweight, yet crazy stable. Just picked one up for this year because I was between the spartan and the ckye pod but wanted something lighter that I could still leave attached to my rifle. It’s an expensive bipod but I feel like I’m getting the best of both worlds and not giving up anything.

    I know you’re sponsored by vortex, but that scope can’t hold a candle to the Maven RS1.2 2.5-15, which retails for $1200. You should give it a try sometime.
